Great game 5\5. Still i agree that difficulty is either too easy or too hard. (nerf those damn grenadiers). Also i would like repeatable filler battles to grind money\skill. That would also help with making difficulty more manageable.

One annoyance I'd like to point out is the melee attacks while being on high ground. Sometimes your character (say, Ivan) is on a slope, and he's unable to target enemies below the slope. Which honestly shouldn't be happening. I mean, you CAN aim down with the spear.

How could such a good game cant get at least 4 star rating. This game has one of best battle system I ever seen and not lagging after 3 hour play. AI inteligent is not great and u have to find secrets in game but still its not enough reason for giving 2-3 rating for game this great.

Oh wow. The story's getting pretty intense. I was so excited to see Chapter 2 was finally out and now I can't wait for Chapter 3!

Ok, I don't normally play games for fun anymore, bit of a badge whore, but it is bothering seeing this on the main page, with the first being so great. Here I go!!! :D

oksana went from being able to throw the big german guys in the first one to no longer being able to. is this intentional?

@tennesseefats, I think this game is supposed to be quite difficult, especially if you pick the wrong skills. IIRC, first chapter was downright unbeatable if you took the wrong path while building your team. Though, I agree - train battles were way too easy, but they were probably aimed at people who relied more heavily on ranged attacks rather than CQC.

This game and its predecessor are enjoyable. The throwing dead bodies mechanic is hilarious. I also found the story's crude humor amusing. Overall the game was fun, but one problem is that some enemies are overpowered. 4/5

Nice engine, fun art, but really really poor play balance. The lack of ranged attacks (the darts are worthless on offense) for the characters, the very powerful ranged attacks by enemies (grenades, rifles) and the 'run across open ground to get into melee range' set up of most of the maps makes some fights extremely difficult and others comically easy. A better mix of melee and ranged enemies or a scale down of ranged power would make game play more even. The maps have a tendency to make targeting difficult (I'm standing next to this...oh, wait, for some reason this slight hill is 'in my way'). Having to move to check targeting, then cancel the move, etc. takes away from strategy/tactics. Makes for some pretty frustrating game play on certain battles. I like these kinds of games, but this one is just OK.

Same as HankMurphy comment on 20 july 2015 : game stopped at the end of the thug going out of his cell animation - Tiervan Jail, Central Chamber, right cell

last boss was easy, killed him with Ivan before he could use his item, by combination of: Encourage, Grey Spear, Spear Tripleplus, Bull Testes and Overt Aggression. +1 attacks of each "Gallantry" Rondhouse, Mace and "Vengefullness" and Boss and ALL minions bite the dust in 3 turns after you get to them.

This game has everything I expect from tatical turn based game. Most importantly the difficulty is OK, not too easy not too hard. I struggled a little only in last battle where I had to use most of HP consumables to save whole party. That's how's the final boss supposed to be ;). I like the fact this game forces player to choose party abilities and gear very carefully. One minus - Vadim's death made me sad, he was my favorite ;((( . I must say return of skillpoints and gear was quite a compensation though. Great game 5/5.

Marvellous game. I have 2 small issues though: 1) I think Plague is bugged. Seems like enemies who are indirectly infected have counter set to 1 turn, but status display is set to 2 turns - they spread and take damage only on turn following infection, on next one they are clear while UI still shows 1 turn remaining. Original infected have turn count shown correctly, 2) Can we please get a chance to continue siege mission past 10 turns? Playing bloodthirsty stingy addict means it's impossible to kill everyone in time. Wooden swords and flimsy crossbows just don't do enough damage. Surprised? Why, it's exceedingly uncharacteristic of Tevoran to spend coin plundered with such a great diligence on anything but drugs and reagents, hitherto I bested everyone in the field of battle without ever buying new weapons or losing anyone (fight with Cloaked Woman was won literally a turn before she killed half of my team, though), but siege necessitates an upgrade, if there are to be no witnesses.

for final boss kill his 3 minions first. then use archer to snipe boss down to around 240ish hp (hurt him any further and he uses his item) while you reposition your cowboy and spearman around him. next turn prince encouragment and kill off the bastard in one turn. use fat woman smite if you dont have enough dmg to finish him ==> flawless victory gg easy

Grab & throw is a very powerful weapon, actually. Throwing a corpse at your enemy will only shave off 20 HP at best, but it's: a) guaranteed to hit, and b) costs only 2 AP! Furthermore, corpses are reusable, and if you position your characters carefully, you can literally destroy the boss in a single turn by throwing corpses at them. Oh, and I'd give 100/5 if I could :3 Also, is it possible to highlight new/unread items in Codex, at least until "Done" is pressed? I'm curious about the lore.

Sepera if you are still having trouble, once I got multiheal it was easy (I could take my time and kill all the enemies). It made a big difference for me.

Casimir's "Speed Dart" has a bug; it actually only lasts for one turn. It doesn't take effect on the current turn, and it only lasts 1 turn after that.

Love it! Also, is it just me or is this vaguely related to Firefly, what with Malcolm Reynolds and River Tam being characters, Reynolds and Aizu, respectively? Also, maybe Wash....

If enemy is killed by another enemy (with use of grenades, for example), I don't get skill points and other stuff.. is that intended?
