I really love Vadim, please revive him in chapter 3, probably a secret episode for him unlocked by multi tasks, like kill a mini boss within a few turns, save a target in the 3rd party, etc.

@ keesto: If you have invested in the wrong skills you can "forget" them so you get all your skill points back. Click on the skill and you'll have that option.

So this game finally got badges, eh? It'd be nice if there was an additional badge that's a shade easier to get, like for beating the first episode or even the first battle, something like the László badge from Chapter 1. Otherwise, très bien.

Maybe I'm in the minority here.. but this game is too hard??? I liked that "replay battle" is an option, but maybe I need to replay the whole chapter! I apparently bought the wrong gear and invested in the wrong skills.. I've tried 7 times to beat this level (7-3). I might like to go back a chapter to rethink my purchases, but that is not an option. Only If I thought to save at the perfect time... but how was I to know???

I think the next game needs necromancers. Basically, necromancers will have the ability to take stacks of corpses and transform them into zombies. Naturally, the zombie will have very low action points and movement points, and the few low-cost actions they can take are hilariously incompetent, but can basically become a living meatshield that deals fatal damage if ignored, as their 5-action consume allows them to deal medium damage that also turns the opponent into a zombie if not detoxified before they die of zombification. Or bludgeoning. Better yet, the zombie decomposes back into its original form of corpses if killed, allowing you to create choke points against your enemies - at the cost of their necromancers having the material to create their own zombies. Basically, it's a weak distraction, uses a valuable resource that players have been using for two whole chapters, and is a great chokepoint defender - for and against the player.

This game has good gameplay, interesting story, etc. BUT, I feel my characters attacks miss much more than they should according to hit chance showed just before attacking. This forces me to save before every capital attack.

It's great to see another story / character driven masterpiece in era of p2w cashgrab mmos and casual, gameplay oriented kong games. Just like first chapter ~ 5/5 and fav.

This is quite simply one of the most promising series of games ever made. The creators should be proud of themselves for making a game this deep, entertaining and high-quality.

A good tip for anyone who keeps on missing their attacks: if you go into the pause menu, you can click on 'Restart Turn' if you mess up. It doesn't undo enemy attacks, though.

what do people get for the old save? what are the rewards? it'd be a good thing to state in-game, i'd go back and play it if i knew it were useful

bug? whenever Duriken casts his dissolution (after we get out of the cave and get the Defeat Duriken quest), the game just stops. he stands there blinking, but nothing happens.

Maybe this game is good, but since I didn't play part one I have no idea what's going on. I managed to win the first battle and now my party is gone. Can't get past the second battle because the characters just do whatever ignoring commands. Mouse-only games are usually great, but with this one I can't tell if my mouse is broken or the game is. You have to go to another website and read a few pages just to figure out how to play a cheesy flash game? Terrible.

So like, I don't know if you know this, but currently the Stealth Gear is completely unworth it. 550 gold for Def+6, Evade+10%, SDef+4 vs Chain Leather which gives Def+8, Evade+15%, SDef+6. Is there some reason to avoid wearing medium armor that I don't know about? Because otherwise, yeah, TOTAL waste of money.

I've always enjoyed being able to carry over a save file from a previous game. I just feel it would have made more difference in this case if I hadn't played the first game over three years and two computers ago.

Oh wow, I've never been the first to earn a new badge before. This game was considerably more challenging than the first, I felt, even though you have more characters to play with. I'm probably not alone when I say I am eagerly awaiting the next installments! Keep up the great work MezzanineStairs!!

Okay, a completion badge is live! I know it's a little late and pretty minimalist, but this game slipped through our badge-promotion cracks, and it definitely deserves a bit of extra attention. Major thanks to extherci for sharing his save file with me and suggesting the badge name! (He actually did more work creating this badge than I did...)

Just played this for a second time, did I really just see aizu's arm crawl away from the boulders in the scene before the second battle of the last chapter?
I'm working on a completion badge now! If anyone has any name suggestions, please feel free to send me a private message. That's all I really need at this point.

They have a patron guys, if youre interested in this game as much as I am, pledging one dollar a month would help them out.

Did you know that at the beginning of this amazing game(before it even loads), you can cut the banner down by holding the left mouse button and dragging the mouse all over it?Yes, I actually went through the effort of stating this tiny and trivial detail in this fantastic game because I like it that much.

Awesome game, 5/5.
Balance between characters is a bit off though, there are clearly first class and second class citizens here (not talking about Aizu or the prince, of course). Ivan sucks and Casamir ends up being so useless I suspect he's gonna be killed off in next chapter =(.
