When you zoom out of the galaxy map, the planet's menus should grow in size, so you dont have to zoom in to read what planet has what ships.

Insane needs to be balanced for each individual level. Level 4 insane is harder than lvl 9 insane because there's literally nothing you can do other than turtle on one planet, which means the game comes down to a simple statcheck that is an auto loss.

i hope the dev continues to grow and expand this game as it has a massive amount of potential, and while it will probably not make it as high and fast as 0rava's MaD games, it will likely get plenty of fans in a quick amount of time if you continue to make it better and better. And i am another one who'd support this game's sequel if it ever comes, like many others
:D

Strategy that seems to work on every insane mission: turtle your first planet. Prioritize researching government, weapons, shield, and armor. Build fighters and bombers constantly. Do not try to colonize until you have enough firepower to hold off the computer's attack fleets on two planets at once. Also, grab the little space boxes as often as you can, they often contain either ships or resources.
If you want to be really crazy, build a fleet of fighters and frigates and go raid your enemies. You won't get any credits (which I find are often the real limiter early game), but you can get plenty of other resources. On the other hand, you will also (bafflingly) acquire population which can be really hard to unload.

Why can I scan the whole solar system, but I can't tell how many ships are heading to my planet. 400? 940,320? 758,493,725,017,380? 1?

This is a beautiful idea. It's hard to find good RTS games like this on the internet that you don't have to download (reasons for not wanting to download a game are personal). The biggest pet peeve I have is that the AI is basic "die! die!" w/o the need to expand. Sure, they may colonize a planet or two, but they mainly go after your systems. It would be nice to have an AI that has the same limitations as the player and thus expanding before destroying is a good idea.

Avoid using Turbo (Spacebar) early game. It accelerates time, but not your resource gathering. All it will do is advance the enemy growth and cause them to attack you sooner, with greater numbers and higher tech than you can create.

Another thing when you gather Credits they are sent straight to your credit total. You don't get them put into the frigates or whatever other ship you gather them with.

The creator of the game won't reply to comments, however, I someone who was here near the launch of this game will in stead.. xD Cause he is busy making the sequel he isn't updating this game anymore. Also, a fun trick is to not have one main fleet. [Samson] You only need a handful of fighters and battleships. Just spam probes and scouts honestly, they get targeted first and are a massive pack of quick damage.

The combat mechanics are quite primitive.
100 cruisers versus 50 probes and scouts, and it takes forever to destroy them.
No splitting fleets unless they're on your own planet?
What happens to my frigates when they're done collecting resources from the enemy? They stay to fight. And die...
Even when they do collect 200+ credits and survive the battle, when taken to a friendly planet and docked, where are the credits?
Good game, but minor flaws.

i love this game but there is one nasty tactic that is a computer loophole. i have a fleet force of about 1000, i have 50 battleships, 400 fighters.. and i get deadlocked on a barren planet by an insurmountable force of about 30 scouts. now my fleet should obliterate them, but they don't. it takes like 5 minutes. and I can't leave that planet, I have to stay there. meanwhile the computers main force (which I can easily destroy) is on their merry way to my home planet and theres nothing i can do about it because my flagships are busy chasing butterflies and wont leave until they caught them all. w t f

didnt even get to finish reading how to colonize planets before the enemy sent a 300 size fleet at my only planet.. Grade A tutorial...

This game is addicting it would be better if you would make effects for the fighting like small explosions, things of that nature but thats it its a very rounded game and i love it.

Lost the tutorial after an hour. I can't see what is happening in the tiny combat screen, so I have no idea if my fleet is appropriate to what I'm fighting.

This is one of my very favorite games now, can't wait to try the sequel
This game may not be the easiest to get a grasp of, but when you do, it becomes a very fun game to challenge yourself with every time.
It may be a time waster, but it's my favorite one.
