Kudos to all your upgrades to the game Momoguru, this is fantastic! Even added a turn-based version, and globalized technology (I prefer global tech :D)

The planetary mechanics violate Kepler's 2nd Law. Inner planets always move faster than outer planets. This would also allow cool "swing by" attacks as distances between planets would vary. Other than that, i love your game!!

maybe make the AI so it won't be an absolute idiot? i had an AI attack my fleet with 10 ships when my fleet consisted of no less than 150

i got bugged in lvl 7, i had all the maps but i didnt win the game, quitted by myself when i reached 1 mill credits, and over 50000 ships

After some time game becomes unplayable because of a rotation bug!
Please fix that as soon as possible because game is fun!

Okay, I have a complaint on the gravity mechanic. Instead of having fixed circular orbits, planets are SLOWLY falling into the sun in a shortening spiral. If you play the game long enough, planets literally overlap and have no way of choosing except for overview menu.

For people who keep getting saved games wiped, try using another browser (e.g. Chrome if you are using FF and FF if you're using Chrome). Load the game in the new browser, start a new slot, save it, check the name is saved. Then restart the new browser and load the game again and see if the saved game is there. If it is still there, it means Flash on your original browser is screwed, seems to be a bug with Privacy mode/flags, and cannot save local objects properly. Happened to me after a recent Flash update.
you can import a saved game too. just use the manual save button, then open notepad and paste in the info. that way you don't lose the data and can transfer between computers and browsers.

Like the game but SOOO many bugs, medals not working, teams randomly changing colour when approaching derelicts, and when I upgraded my government to level 7 on the 'small worlds' starmap, all my money disappeared and I completely stopped collecting money. Would enjoy to play it more, but it simply isn't possible in its current form. Will reserve rating until a playable version is released.

I don't know if it is the game or my computer, but all of my game saves keep getting deleted when I turn my computer off. This has happened 3 times.

Pretty awesome. Has zero things I could find wrong about it. It is realistic, and is pretty much the only strategy game I have ever played with actual use of strategy. 5/5

Just finished :D Lovely lovely game. Hoping for more objective based missions (such as, survive for how long, capture a planet conquer all without a colony ship etc). Bug report: My frigates (and any ship with them) sometimes become unselectable on a neutral planet. The icon becomes red but the enemy can't control it I think. Still allows me to win though

medals aren't stacking anymore ingame, since the update.
and i had a fleet lost in space because the items dont rotate like the planets do, simply drifted out of orbit when i wasn't paying attention :p

@ Peace buyer - the enemy probably bombed your population into dust before your fleet killed the enemy. Bombers start attacking the planet as soon as battle starts.

Is there a way to choose a planet behind another one, because on lvl 4 there are overlapping planets making it impossible
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, maybe a left/right button next the planet name to let us flip through planets without having to search for it, especially now that they are moving around! :D

Could you add options not to shift the view when a planet is selected? Very often I want to keep an eye on the fight going on over one planet while building/research on another. Now, I keep having to pan back/fro despite zooming out to have both within view.
Also, maybe a log style event display by the side instead of popup sticking to each planet, makes it easier to glance at what is going on and decide if it requires immediate attention.

It's about time there is a developer who actually involves themselves in the game! This is an amazing game and its potential is literally limitless! 5/5 The only things i noticed were that the outer planets rotated faster on some levels than the ones in the center. Also, the floating debris did not move at all. In relation to the debris, i was wondering if that was intentional or not. Keep up the updates!

I want to enjoy this game, but maybe it's just the system I'm playing on (Macbook w/touchpad, 21" screen) -- I find the viewing window claustrophobic, text very small, and it's kind of stressful to play. But to be clear -- the stress is because this game has tons of fantastic elements and is so attractive, I want to be able to dive in, but instead feel cramped and unable to easily access all the information I need/want in real time. I wonder if being able to issue orders while paused would help? And being able to see a log of all recent information windows?
you can switch too turn play mode if u need some extra time. as for the ui and small window, these issues will be addressed once i squash all the gameplay bugs. make sure you play in cinematic mode for the full 1024x700 screen res.

Mission 5, Hard Rocks. Can't seem to advance beyond it whether I win OR lose.
I think there is a bug (it starts with me looking at the enemy). Tried it with all difficulty settings.

I finished level 5 hostile rocks on medium. Destroyed the last enemy while he had ships going to another planet. It said I won the map but I cannot progess to the next, nor do I have the two medals for that map.

Another update, I see :) First, the moving planets... it's surprising, but positive. And changes the gameplay alot One issue though - sometimes planets overlap, luckily not permanently, but it blocks one of them for some time. Also I'm wondering, if this star-like object is somewhat related to the movement... first I thought the planets are just circling it, but it don't seem to be the case (although it would be cool :) ). One minor, unrelated issue - it would be more comfortable, if selecting another planet would not change the tabs; it's because as now techs are shared, one needs often to split the research among the planets or search for one of them rich enough to develop something. Keep the good work up :)

I think the game might be a bit weird on mission 6 or 7. i have no credits, a lot of income for it and i can still build everything. counter just says 0. slightly off putting =p

This is now my favorite space game right up their with battlestar galatica online and FTL this game now sits in my kongregate hall of fame! keep up the great work :)

For some reason, I get a knot in my stomach when I read that my own people consider me a peace maker, right after I slaughtered whole planets of people...

I'm having a problem where some of my fleets turn red when i don't move them after some time and i cant use them unless i dock them all or send another fleet to them which isn't so bad but when it happens on one of those satellite event things i can not get them back
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
my playstyle is sort of the slow conquer type, but i found out that eventually all the planets stack up in the center and stay there for the rest of the game, I couldn't acess any planets and i had to restart the level
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I wish there were a way to see general fleet strength other than by clicking on it to see the detailed makeup, and a better, more realistic way to split fleets (like to send off a single probe) than to dock all, launch the probe, and then re-launch the rest.

There seems to be a problem with planets stacking on each other on Map 8. I seem to have three planets in one place and can only access one of them. I went at full speed for quite a while, but the three planets never separated and the two I couldn't access got taken over and I couldn't attack them.
ill have that fixed in tonights update
. (EDIT) would be kinda cool to have maps with planets that would collide and disappear. that way you could use the planet only for a short time before it collides and explodes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One final thing (sorry for the spam of comments), it would be really very good if we could have multiple races rather than you and just a single enemy. The option on the map editor to have multiple enemies, additional races who are neutral to you (but may have gripes with other races) and allies. This would tie in nicely the diplomacy system you are mulling over. Perhaps introducing some multiple enemies etc on preset maps would also be nice.

Excellent to see you working with the people playing the game Momoguru. Also glad to hear a harder mode is in the pipeline. One small point, sometimes planets collide. If you add a bit of code which tests during planet generation if there is already a planet lying on that orbital, and regenerate the new planet if there is, it would ensure planets never get in each others way. It's not a problem which significantly effects gameplay, but it's the kind of extra polish which can make a difference.
