Kinda dont like how the weapon "buff" is handled. Bouncing around the screen, tends to become more of an issue to get it than not, not to mention the unlikely chance that it'll be what you wanted (and given the cost of its upgrades + infrequency, shouldnt have these hassles).

Magnet should attract all beneficial items at max level, not just money. Should also pull them in a good deal quicker quicker and from a farther range. Optionally add stat to increase for magnet range&power.

Do you have to have all upgrades and missions to get the medium achievement? I've beat the last boss twice and luck. I refreshed and ensured that I was connected in between.

Back to not being able to get past the first boss, hit area is still too FREAKING LARGE with those BIG BULLETS. score stays at 2/5

Random quick time events are terrible. Quick time events are lazy game design in general, but if you're going to use them the pattern should always be the same. Just look at God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, and Castlevania. They all use QTEs, but the pattern for each encounter is always the same.

It gets to the point where I simply cannot see where I am onscreen, just because of the ridiculous amount of graphic elements flying around. That's essentially the only reason I keep dying over and over and over at the same point in the game. It gets really annoying. That, and how it starts you way back at the very beginning if you die. I think that's a little unnecessary. Aside from all that, this game is pretty fun.

Thank goodness for the MUST HIT COMBO MANEUVER boss-kill rule. We needed more games reliant on arbitrary button pressing. "Press X to not die" indeed. 4 stars, cut in half due to a single terrible decision in game mechanics. Better luck next time, I guess.

Touhou is the hardest bullet hell game? HAH! You havent tasted hell until you've played Nether Runner. And Nether Runner 2? (Hope)

If you made it possible to engage the boss without the Strange Artifact, what is the purpose of the Strange Artifact? Me thinks it should grant a buff of some sort, for those of us that got all missions completed before the patch.

Other Devs check out this game -- this is the what a hit box should be.
Needs more boomstick, but 10/10 would Die by Dawn again.

Hehe, what I'm wondering about is the discussion the guy and the girl had in the house before the giant tentical rips through. "Yeah, hey... I'm going to press this button and then you're going to be snached up by this big monster guy... I hope you're okay with that. I just want to make some money, is all."

IMO, this game was entertaining after the first few newbie waves. I wish I could've sold 'nomicons though - the fireball was the best for the first 2 levels because of its high fire-rate, until I got to enemies that couldn't be 1-hit. The black balls were the best in level 3 for that reason. The lightning was great for AoE, but slow, and the Cthulhu was too inaccurate. I liked the sawblades alright, but the other spells were junk until the HP restoration one, which I won the game with. I didn't see the dudes at all. If they'd been a mission, I would've gotten them, but as it was I didn't need them. The tip about prioritizing dark arts and drain was great - drain is completely important (as the only way you'll ever see a spell).

Discovered a neat hack: activate saw blades directly before a boss battle, and during the (agonizingly slow) boss entry animation, if you're at the front of the screen, you'll deal damage to it. I took out 2/3 of Dream Devourer's health that way.

Would be nice if i could jump first and then fly... Because it's just a waste of fuel and it's very annoying since just jumping up is faster than flying up...

You know I wanted to like this game but your stupid invisible walls on all sides of the screen providing consistent sabotages and hours of grind is about as neat as elephant diarrhea skid-marks trailing all over the zoo.

Pretty standard shooter with a pretty typical upgrade system. Nothing too groundbreaking, but I like the Lovecraftian stuff and overall silliness. 4/5

On my 50th time trying to beat the last boss, there was a flying rock guy standing in front of the "boss kill" code. RAGE QUIT.

Spells: The Unholy Saws: Uses 1 Mana bar to project four unholy saw blades, which circle you for a short time, dealing heavy damage to whatever they touch. The Sheeping: Use 1 Mana bar to cast a spell on the screen for a short time. During this time, any enemies that enter the screen will be turned into harmless sheep. This does not effect bosses, but works on boss minions. Justice For All: Uses 2 Mana bars to kill everything on the screen. For the next few seconds, all enemies that enter the screen will be instantly destroyed. This has no effect on bosses, but works on boss minions. Richpocalypse: This spell consumes two mana bars to turn all onscreen enemies into money. Like the previous two spells, for a short time enemies who enter the screen will be effected. This spell has no effect on bosses but works on boss minions. The Miska Tonic: The only non-offensive spell in the game, this spell takes 2 Mana bars and fully heals you. Please give this a + so that others can see!

weaponomicon descriptions:
Firenomicon: This tome shoots fire projectiles. These deal medium-high damage, and shoot at an impressively high rate, but they are inaccurate, spreading forth from your tome.
Tarnomicon: Shoots bouncing spheres of tar. These fire at your normal fire rate, and will bounce as high as necessary to hit enemies (and deal reasonably high damage). When they hit a monster, they split into two smaller balls.
Thundernomicon: This tome shoots lightning bolts. These attacks will automatically hit and deal heavy damage to monsters, and the electricity will arc between targets, making this a powerful tome for defeating many monsters at once.
Tentanomicon: Massive tentacles reach from behind you (the left side of the screen) and instantly kill whatever they touch. These tentacles shoot at your normal fire rate, and will aim for enemies.
Please give this a + so that others can see it, and maybe the developer will put these descriptions into the game!

So, I get to the first boss and enter the death combo and nothing happens and the boss comes back and kills me
I'm probably doing something wrong here
