This game is nice, but the jump/fly part is really a mess, especially when you consider the tasks "fly for XXX meters" or "walk for XXX meters": air enemies simply make it nearly impossible.

Wonderful, wonderful game. I am not a big fan of launch games or side-scrolling shooters, but this game is awesome!
Some minor issues I experienced were getting stuck up close to the Abortion of the Sea and my attacks not working; no matter how many times I'd hit F or Z or x, I'd stand there and get hammered. This didn't happen often, but when it did, it'd ruin my run. Another issue has been the character having a delay in movement at the second boss. I can't tell if it's supposed to be that way, cuz it's been consistent.
Love this game, 5 stars and faved.

So, if you get to the 3000 m part without having any fuel left, the flying enemies that spawn just before never go away. So you can't progress. That's a bit stupid..

Fun but repetitive game except the part where a boss completely heals if you don't get the combo right in one try. From 3 stars down to 1 for that alone.

Okay, I have positives and negatives, the game is pretty fun, so that's a positive, but at the same time you hit 2 of my biggest pet peeves, #1 no larger screen option, the window is so small I struggle to see it, please allow full screen or a larger screen in cinematic mode. #2 the key bindings are awful, either allow us to bind our own keys or use a more standard key set like wasd to move, space to shoot and e or q for spells, trying to cram my huge hands into the tiny spaces you have put for key binding is horrible. But yeah, with these negatives it brings it down from a solid 4.5/5 to a 3/5 im afraid

I really like side-scrollers, but this is just plain annoying. I can't imagine what drives developers to make the us repeat every boss every single time. The manouverability is ridiculous, because of that girl-on-a-tentacle you only got roughly 2/3 of the actual screen to run/jump/float. Your base shot, while upgradeable, could do many more things, as any number of games can teach you, even without relying on this obnoxious tome-system. Usually, I like upgrade systems, but this one doesn't seem to do much.

It's alright, but it's yet another game where it encourages early suicides when you've completed all 3 objectives it lets you have access to early in the run. If I want to push forward, reward me for it.

So v1.3 was supposed to have a short-cut to the final boss, eh? Well, I've completed all missions, bought out the shop, got to the Big Nasty at least twice... and still can't see the short-cut. I really hate to have a game defeat me, but I am sick and tired of running all the way through the (seemingly) endless stream of mobs only to fail once again, despite having the 'best of the best' equipped.
I'm done with this game.

Really, if I just earned the firenomicon or something right before a boss, It should still be usable on the boss. I mean seriously if I'm going into a firefight and I just picked up a fully loaded machinegun, why would I go back to the pistol for the toughest guy?

Alright, I like the game but the last boss is just pointlessly long. I need to do that endless run every try and I don't even have a chance to recover lives while I do all that repetitive dodging.
Besides that, nice game.

So basically, his girlfriend gets back home every time he dies and uses the "Dark Arts" to re-revive him every time and moments later she gets kidnapped and it happens over and over again.

Wow, that final boss is hard... made kind of annoying by having to replay up to him every try. So I think it'd be cool if you could give us the option to skip to that point after we've bought out the store and/or completed all the missions [with 2-5 mana charges]. Because at that point, money is moot and you've proven to the game that you can get to the final boss. This makes it get pretty tedious. Nevertheless, pretty much everything else about this game is quite good (gameplay, visuals, etc.)!

Solid game, there was just one thing that bugged me--during the final boss fight, the ground disappears and makes it look like you can now move closer to the bottom part of the screen, but you still can't. I lost many a life trying to dodge bullets by juking below them only to realize I couldn't move down any more. Would be nice if the visuals were changed to match the gameplay.

Okay Upgrade-Shooter. A bit tedious due to always having to start from the first boss again + speed being an underdog stat that just isn't that important except for getting through the level faster. Missions seem thought through very nicely, though I'd take out the reoccurring "don^t shoot shit" stuff. It^s fine once, not 4 times.

Great, Just stunned the first boss. Leftover Geometry Squares Hit me in the face and i die When the boss is stunned all of the bullets should just dissipear.

lol gets to final boss. sees tentacle thing and is like maybe I shoot at those? starts firing at one and burns me up with laser since i only had one heart left. lol
