I don't know if I use HTML5 or not, I didn't lose that much progress, so I'll just use the import/exports in the future.
Thanks for your comment. Do you use the HTML5 version of the game? (When you open the option, do you see the import and export button?). Many popular Unity games on Kongregate don't publish their games on HTML5 and only support the Unity WebPlayer. Unity's HTML5 versions cause a lot of small issues (cut and paste, mouse laggy, etc.) THEY ARE NOT CAUSED BY US. We can't do anything about it. Unity says next version will fix some of those. If you are using the HTML5 version of the game, please report the bug or PM us with as much detail as you can, we will investigate it seriously. If you use the Unity WebPlayer version (no HTML5), we can assure you that the game doesn't not destroy people's progress. But we would be happy to help you get back your progress and hopefully find what cause your progress been deleted.

How do I get the version that works in Chrome? When I try the normal version (unity) Kong says my browser isn't compatible and to use Firefox. I tried clearing out my cookies and all my settings but still does not use a HTML5 version.
Normally if the Unity player isn't installed on the computer, the HTML5 version start automatically. Sometime, the browser don't notice new files and can show some weird behaviour. In that case, refreshing the page (F5) usually works. The first time, it can take a while to load. Much longer than with the unity webplayer.

OK, how does Progress work?? I have 4K+ Iron and the danged Progress bar hasn't moved in over an hour. I Hard Reset, forgetting to make a backup, figuring that I'd screwed up by moving to quick. Does it only move when you move onto the next listed item? Did I screw myself by screwing up, thinking something was screwed up?
Thanks for your comment. For a progress bar to work, it must have the required material. The requirement is written on the progress bar. If you have the required items and the progress bar still don't move, you can buy more "auto" upgrade in the upgrade window. Be sure you buy auto upgrade for the worker you want to upgrade. To be sure a progress bar is working, click on the production name above the progress bar. It will open a window where you can see the progress with numbers. We can help you get your data back, PM us for more details. We hope this help!

Is it normal to have Rank 2 Ore with Columbite/Magnite and Rank 3 Enchantment with Fire/Water? Or did I fall victim to moving to fast and got screwed with the ranks?

Why do you keep rereleasing the same game over and over again? Especially when this is an obvious step back from your last incarnation.
Thanks for your comment. Idle Blacksmith (the original) was made with the old Unity UI and it was really hard to update it. But we love the game and wanted to update it. This is where The New Idle Blacksmith come. The new game is much more stable. It's more compatible (Unity WebPlayer, HTML5 compatible (for Chrome user), can be put on mobile, and potentially other platform). It's also much easier to update it, create new content, etc. We don't re-release the same game just like that. We want to create something new based on the original game. Because we loved the original Idle Blacksmith.

IB1 was incredible for it's time. IB2 is my all time favorite incremental. Seems like you took a few steps back for this one. I hope it doesn't just get dropped like IB2 did.

IB1 was made with the old GUI version of Unity and it was really hard to maintain it or create new content. IB2 was my first big project, (it took a lot of time to complete) and I had to face new challenges that I never had before. I did my best to maintain it. Don't worry, I didn't drop IB1 and IB2, I LOVE those projects. The goal of this new project is to start from IB1 and build new content around it. The new game is compatible with Chrome (HTML5 version), Unity player (of course), mobile devices, and potentially others. The game is more stable, much easier to maintain, less bugs, CPU friendly, etc. I really hope you'll enjoy that new version of the game.

Hey, nice game so far, I'm looking forward to the new updates.
I have a small question. Depending on the answer, i have found a bug.
I have only 2 times Ascended until now, first time from Level 0 to 2 and second time from level 2 to 4, so i "skipped" level 1 and 3. Now i have 2 skill points, is it normal to get one skill point every 2 levels or should i already have 4 skill points on level 4?
Thanks for your comment. A Blacksmith should be able to keep his inventory clean. The King's Blacksmith now needs your useless material. But, you need to ascend to level 10, otherwise he won't speak to you.

Hello, I do not think offline earnings are working very well. Went away for a day and only have 10M. Last time I went offline for a few hours and made 80M.
Thanks for your report. Sometime Offline time may not work because of Internet or server issue (extremely rare) when it happen it show a clear message and save the offline time for later. If some items are hidden in your inventory, You may earn more than expected. In the opposite, if a worker is too slow compare to other workers, you may have less earning than expected. If the issue still happen, feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to assist you.

If you are producing iron sword but have hidden mail in your inventory, the enchanter will take the most valuable item (mail) and enchant it instead of your sword. crude but fun game. The diminishing return for the upgrades, especially the seller, seems a little too hard though. Might need to tone that down.

Of course the game looks like the old one (we loved the original Idle Blacksmith and we wanted to start the new project publicly from that point) But :
A lot of the code behind has been remade. That allow us to update the game with more ease (it was much harder with the original Idle Blacksmith).
The game is also compatible with HTML5 (no Unity player for Chrome user).
Mainly, what you can expect here, is a more stable game with regular updates, new features on a regular basis and less bugs.

Sell power blows chunks. Power over 40 and all other with only power 10 produces way more then the seller can sell. Seller sells 1, they produce 20+..
Offline progress should work.
If it doesn't work (Internet or server problem) a message appear and the offline time is saved for later.
Those issues are extremely rare but we still manage them because we think it's important.

1- Already covered by @PaleRaven Money Per Second is a Good Improvement
2- I HATE holding the mouse for 10 Clicks Per Second. my suggestion is to Make it harder to Obtain after you add Ascension (Soft Reset) you’ll go to the shop with ascension money and Buy That because you feel like you earned it
3- Workers. Instead of making Auto-Power earn you the thing you want Make workers do it:
Suggestion:
1- The worker should be expensive
2- The worker should have stats Ex: (Some Random Name) Speed:3 Crit:5 Strength:8 Teamwork:10
3- If two Workers work together Teamwork factor is added Note:teamwork should be a boost
4- Workers can be Upgraded

There needs to be a more efficient way to generate/show the blacksmit items list. At infinium sword 19xx (the item #10010 in the list) my laptops hangs for 5 minutes when i click the item name to show the list. We know how I got there but that is not the point right now because i did it for test purposes only and im getting a hard reset right after sending this comment. Anyway, eventually players will craft high items and will find this problem.

One thing I noticed that is missing is a money per second counter.... that would be really useful in gauging your game efficiency.

Great to see some enhancements to the original Idle Blacksmith! Still play it regularly, though late game progress is slow I love it. For this enhancement, I like that you can click HOLD for 10 clicks/second. I also love that you can click the worker and select any material/item without having to scroll through them all.
Suggestions: I would love to see my "backlog" of materials as in the original, or have that be an option to turn on/off. I would also love to see a hover window over each worker that shows you the production information, as in the original.
Looking forward to seeing the ascension points shop! Keep up the good work!

The goal of the new inventory is that it look simpler. None the less, you can display all items in the inventory by clicking on the inventory flag and selecting "Display all items".
You can see Informations about the worker (like the first one) by opening the quick selection window of each worker.

First of all I'll make my own opinion (and the only cuz im the first commentor. hehe)
and that opinion is frankly the fact that this game is a clone
im gonna be honest Yes it is enjoyable but its not much diffrent from idle blacksmith 1&2 i've opened the options and it says (Coming Soon)
so till than mrcaboom you better add something diffrent
