So, we have +X feature, we have enchatments...well then how about socketing items maybe at later stages? And later on upgrade feature for items we put into sockets, and maybe carving additional sockets in items?

Hard reset doesnt wipe everything, the effects of ascension skills seem to linger. After a hard reset, items were still smithed with +10, and 1 level in auto selling let me sell 5 items/s.

Instead of having to hold down the mouse button, would it be possible to use the work buttons by just hovering the mouse over the button?
Thank you for your question. The price of upgrades has been significantly reduced. (often more than 90% cheaper than before). We also change the ascension formula, so people ascend a little faster. To balance with that change, we reduce the bonus from ascension to 10% instead of 50%. Overall, you should experience the game pace to be a little faster, especially when you haven't play to a while.

I do not understand why my production per second maxes at 5, but when I upgrade the worker, it still increases my average ores/bars/items per second.

would be great if the miner and melter run simoultaniously like in the old game. It messes with me that they don't run at the same speed.

One Meganium mail +84 sells for 557.0sx
One Meganium mail of the Cheetah +82 sells for 499.3qd
why does a single un-enchanted things sell for more then the enchanted parts?

I think the Popularity Ascension skill is useless. The max speed for enchant is 5, so there is no way we can't make more 5 items per sec to sell 12 items per sec. You could change it to when sell is critical, it 3, 4, 5 times the money as the lv go up or something better.
Thanks for the comment. Let say you badly setup your production and you have a lot of sword the next day. The skill was made to help you sell them faster. Your idea about the critical bonus is good. It's in the notebook and will probably be implemented in a future update.

It should show what you are curretly selling/enchanting and you should also put some more stats, like %done, seconds/minutes needed to finish, etc.

Request: Add a % counter to the production bars so we can see how far along it is. maybe to thousands. 0.000% - 100.000%

So wait, what does the space do now? It speeds up ALL production now? Does holding down/clicking the action button do nothing now?
If you hold space bar, it will do the same thing as if you hold an action button. Ex : Instead of holding the mine button, click the mine button once, then hold space bar.

For the mail mastery, it should say "10% faster" rather than "10% less time".
With one level it would make 11 items in the time of 10, so saying 5% per level would be absolute nonsense.

... Thanks for the update :P I love how you keep up with these games... you may want to fix the update message though it currently reads : The game has been unpdate.

I have a minor suggestion, change the text of the Ascension Skill "Mail Mastery".
When you have that one on lvl 10 (max) it says "Mail takes 100% less time to make and worth ... more". This doesn't make sense for me, because 100% less time meant it would be finished instantly, with 0 time.
In fact, when you have that Skill on max lvl, you need 50% of the original progress.
Zincite Mail needs without the skill 11.76k progress. With the skill on max it needs 5,883 progress, exactly the half. So, i think it would be appropriate to change the text of the skill to 5% per lvl instead of 10%.
Btw, i liked the last Updates, nice ones :D

While I can understand the desire as a developer to make something hard to do, the fact that leveling up Selling is ridiculous (lvl 72 for 5.000 Almost Donation & lvl 91 for 0.639 Very Cheap) and that the lowest Achievement for Selling is a Critical Hit at Very Expensive or Higher is a bit beyond my understanding when Low is the 5th stage and I haven't got a clue how many more there are before Very Expensive is even on the list.
Good question. We love the original Idle Blacksmith, but it was difficult to make update on it (technical reason). The New Idle Blacksmith includes features we would like to add to Idle Blacksmith 1. So it's more like a extension of the original instead of a new game.

You should be able to sell any item in your inventory, not just what you are currently making, plus I have yet to figure out how to sell ores that I have extra of, so that's also a bit problematic.
Thanks for the comment. Click on the Inventory flag (just above the inventory) and select "Display all items". To sell material, you need to ascend to level 10 or more.

Last night I unlocked the level 20 achievement. When I started playing today the icon was gone. Opening and closing achievements fixed it.
Chrome last update completely remove the Unity Web Player support. So you see the HTML5 version of the game now. A new Export/Import system has been released on the HTML5 version of the game.

Okay so seems I was unaware that Chrome removed NPAPI support even in the flags, making it impossible to run Unity in it.
I was playing with it enabled and it worked just fine, then after the change it switched to the html5 port of the game and my save wasn't there.
So yeah, glad it wasn't an issue on the developer's side, but still sucks, because I don't like Firefox at all.

It's seem the speed to makes mail so slow and the price is not as great as the next tire ore helm so I never make mail. I think you should ajust it. Great game ^^

Hm, significant improvement both gameplay-wise and graphically, i like it. Btw, is this something you will work on for a bit of time? I'd like to see where this will go.

crystal sell for basically nothing Barite Mail of precision +10 =289.7m(ATM)
crystal from Barite is 18m
Not worth the time to sell it even if I drop my sell value
How would the ascension points ever be worth it?

Maybe it would be just me that would find this useful, but be nice to have a way to disable the auto's. Like I hate having excess of anything, so I tend to take the ores and bars down to 0, but when it starts getting to more than 1 bar for the swords and all i have is 1 bar, then I have the urge to do one mining for ore, and if the autospeed is fast, suddenly I have many, and then I create the bars, and then again I have 1 extra bar. Viscous cycle :)

If a whole inventory display is not in the cards then please at least display the item that will go into making it so that we know how much of the item we have. Meaning, if I'm creating Cerussite Mail, while creating Gold Bars while mining Zincite Ores, I'd like to know how many Gold ores and Cerussite bars AND ores I have on hand. Just a thought
Thanks for your comment. A Blacksmith should be able to see his whole inventory if he want to. You can now click the Inventory flag and select "Display all items".

Rhodonite Mail sells for a lot more then the Orpiment Sword(this is true for all n mail and n+1 sword) Yet I will enchant and sell the sword first....This is either a bug or bad use case(because I cant control what I enchant/sell)

The production/click of the merchant seems really underpowered in comparison to that of the other workers. I am selling at Cheap, with 110 levels of click power, and 4 points into Charisma, yet my production/click is .039 while my prod/second is .69. Which means that even holding the click down only improves my sell to .78 per second. Does this even out as you progress?
Thanks for your comment. Yes the merchant may feel underpowered compare to others.
But he's the only one who have ascension skills that double his speed for just one point. At max (10) he's 1024 times faster than normal!

So far I am really enjoying this enhancement to the original IB. It has some of the same things that make the original great such as "tweakability". You can look at the numbers of individual workers and adjust accordingly. Also it has some of the speed that IB has... IB2, while a good game in it's own right, was too slow IMO, and I didn't like the item/second cap at 10. The new IB (NIB) has a lot of room for expansion and improvements, with enough to keep me coming back to tweak things here and there.

Somehow I feels like it is not worth to go for higher quality ores after Sphalerite.
Even Sphalerite is worse than gold if you go for higher money/sec.
But after Sphalerite it is like the next tier of the same equip takes twice as long and it only makes 20% more money. Even if I count in more enchantments or a higher price (which is not really possible because it takes way longer), I would lose out by a lot.
Thanks for your comment. At first yes, going on equipment that are too long to produce won't worth it. Cheaper equipment will give a better money per second. But later, as your critical power increase and your merchant speed increase, higher items will worth more money per second than cheap one. The goad is too keep the balance. We also have plans to make that more interesting in future update.

I really hope that this one might be the final installment of idle blacksmith. The UI is very simple and clear. I really liked it.
