Way too easy, I had my weapon fully upgraded by the 3rd boss and he died within three seconds... no seriously \:. At the most there were about 6 enemys on screen at once, I don't feel like I'm playing a shooter. Nice graphics though. 4/5

The only way this game would ever be considered good is if it came out shortly after pong. This is without a doubt one of THE most boring, easiest shooters ever made. It gives the illusion that you have a choice what to level up first at least, but NOPE, all the things you can level up are capped so low you pretty much have to raise everything equally. I'd recommend the programmer of this game download and play a game called Raptor so he can get a better idea of how a game like this should be done.

The graphics are great, but the game is entirely too easy. I didn't even need the health I was required to take. Even with that, I have no clue what the second to last boss looked like since I'd already killed it by the time it'd scrolled up to it. The basic enemies all had the same few varieties of attack, with the bosses just being super size versions of that. Variable difficulty with more enemies and giving the bosses a few unique attacks would have been enough to make it stand out. As is, however, it's basically just baby's first shmup.

Mute shortcut ? (M). Pause shortcut ? (P, SPACE, ESC ...).
Achievements ?
Good graphics though.
Too simple for me, and music is a bit repetitive.
3/5

Enemies are lame, firing patterns easily avoided... I've been playing dodge with the health orbs, try it, makes the game playable
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why do you make me pick health as an upgrade? I don't need it.... just line up, land the max number of shot you can and move before being hit... that takes power and speed, making me choose to upgrade health just ruins the thing

Nice graphics (pseudo-3D looks good) but just to easy. Im not good at those games but finished without dieing once. Make an hard and an impossible-mode (maybe just more health?) and it will be 5 stars ... 4/5

Loved it, except it it needs a keyboard button to pause. The mouse is awkward. But hey, I played it anyhow. and enjoyed it thoroughly!!

so, I just played through the game, without dying, without redoing levels, without going below half HP...
Yea, it does lag the challange and because of that the health upgrades felt kinda unneccesary after the 4th one you got forced to do.
I really wasn't happy that the game didn't let me just go with attack power at the beginning, but made me purchase the other upgrades when the difference between strongest and weakest was 3.
The graphic are quite decent for a flash game, but doesn't help that it is too easy.
Espacially the semi-last boss was a joke. I killed it before it started to attack O_o
All enemy-patterns are obvious and don't vary much, sadly.
Still it is a nice little time-waster, if you just want to relax.

Upgrades kinda suck,
'WOOT IM LEVEL UP!.. owh what shall i upgrade... wait.. i can only upgrade my health? O__O'
bosses are WAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to easy,
all the levels are just boring
2/5

I agree with the comments from the top five comments, but to add that the music was pretty good. Not irritating or boring. I'd say it suited the game very well.

@ zoomerik
personally if you increased the size of the ship with a health upgrade it wouldn't be a upgrade it would be a bigger disadvantage. making it harder to dodge the bullets. extra turbines nah wouldn't work
but i believe it is more of a mini game like in G.T.A san andreas in the 1st house you can play the game it is like that type of mini game but good graphics and a awesome
exp gain and healing system and pretty nice enemy's.

don't like the fact that I can't level-up power or speed to max and leave health for example
and at the beginning I thought that ship movement is way too slow
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Everyone so often when I move, my ship sticks or keeps going left or right. Making it hard to dodge bullets, Games easy but with this glitch it's a little annoying.

As others have said,
1) The game is too easy
2) Being able to increase your firepower does not make this an RPG, and it's frustrating to see it in the description.
Cute shoot 'em up, if too basic and a bit easy.

Seriously an enemy that shoots sideways???
plus all I needed was attack and speed but oh no the game forced me to upgrade my health!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Way too easy. Also, this game really needs either more enemies, or more variations on enemies. Half the time it seemed like I was waiting for more enemies to come on screen to kill, rather than planning the best way to get around them

Being able to increase your health, attack and speed doesn't make this an RPG. It just makes it a game made in the last 10 years.

I hate how this game forces you to take power ups you don't want just to make the game (slightly) more difficult, all I wanted to do was upgrade my guns and speed and the game forced me to upgrade my health, if you have rpg elements that simplistic you should at least let us play around with them. That said this game is wayyyy too easy. I grew up playing Raiden and 1942 and while I don't expect something of that depth from a flash game I don't expect a game that's so easy that I can just play through it on my first try. Some complexity in enemies and upgrades would make this game playable.
Nice graphics though.

Not much replay value at all, but a very good time waster, the music is lively, along with the colouring, all in all a really nice game in my opinion. If you were to add credits (lives) and make the game a little more difficult, I think you could make this a very retro style game, also kongregate api wouldn't go a miss ;)

The only thing I don't really like about this game (other than it's way too easy) is how it limits how you're able to distribute your stat points. For example, if I have 3 points in attack and 3 in speed, I HAVE to put my next point in health. Well what if I don't want to do that? Kind of defeats the whole purpose of having stat points in the first place, doesn't it? Might as well just have the computer do it for you.

There should be an Upgrade Ship icon in the Upgrade Menu that gives your ship a little bit more Defence so it takes less damge from enemies + if you agree

it has a lot of potential, but i recommend less levels, but longer levels. that way each level has a more distinct (and less repetitive) feel to it. more customizations on the ship would be nice (ie- secondary weapons, wingmen, appearance, interchangable parts). also, try to switch up the ai; it got kind of tedious having the enemy ships always entering through the front and following the same paths. try making them come from different sides, add loops and circles and curves to their ai paths to make things a bit more interesting and challenging. the music that is there isnt too bad, but it would be nice if there were different music for each time you change the background graphic scenery to change things up a bit.

I suggest you to make upgrades visible. Well, uhh for example when you upgrade health, your ship becoming bigger, when you upgrade speed additional turbines appears and such.
Otherwise, the game is good, specialy I liked the graphics. Keep it up, and make it more action.

I loved the game. Yeah, yeah, the upgrade system was kinda weird... for instance, I nearly had the third boss dead before he even started his attack patterns. Of course, one touch from his wing and I died, due to low health. But meh, all games have some flaw, be it minor, medium, or major. This was medium. And thus I still loved this game.
