Dude, three things. 1. Get a life 2.Make a real game and 3. Your 'enemies' look like the LAAT/i Gunships from Star wars. -5/5

Game should play in three dimensions. Visually it looks like a Zaxxon clone: the buildings, the barriers, etc. It should be possible to crash it these things, fly under and over them, etc.

It's pretty bad when I could kill some bosses faster than killing some regular enemies... As for the easy factor, I pretended I had to ram certain enemies to make it harder.

2.5/5 potential, but no challenge. WAY too many green orbs so I don't even bother with evasive maneuvers, and no AI that I could see, just scripted movement regardless of my own

health orbs should convert to 1/2 or 1/4 of a upgrade orb if they are not needed to heal your ship. This would give some incentive to dodge the projectiles.

Graphics are original, ship does need some working as well as the upgrading, choice (unique) weaponry would be nice, and most of all, enemy wave design needs working like having units come from the side and behind, as well as units that actually point their guns at you

Be alot more fun if it wasnt so easy and wont let you upgrade certain things from time to time, so you basically always have a balanced ship. Good start tho. looks cool & all

okay. everything, should ALWAYS give experience, no matter how insignificant it is. second, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO UPGRADE WHATEVER I DARN WELL PLEASE!!!! I"M THE ONE KILLING THE ALIENS/BAD GUYS/WHATEVER!!!!!

The game as we all know was easy, which is fine, but the reason it got a 2/5 in my book is that it was a bit glitchy. At random times I would be shot all the way to the right side of the screen, and stuck there for several seconds.
Good design, clean it up, make it harder and good ratings will follow.

disturbingly easy. I tried just sitting back one level without even touching the keyboard. I made it through with more than three quarters of my health intact. Needs a touch more difficulty - I shouldn't be able to sit back and watch the game play itself.

WWHHOOO.... that was close i thought id die for the first time on the final boss but i fired the final shot that killed it when i had like 3 lives left...

Like everyone else has said, way too easy.
Make either the pattern of ships more difficult, so that more ammo is coming at you faster and you actually have to dodge, or make it way easier to die.
Do something anyways, the ease of difficulty makes this otherwise very well made flash game kind of moot.

Just way too easy. I literally only got hit by one boss, and him only once.
Otherwise, the only time you'd get hit is ramming into bullets inorder to grab those experience orbs during the levels.
When you make a shooter game that it's so easy that health is essentially a useless stat, that's a problem i think.

Is it a game or is it my mother? Why do I have to keep eating healthy when all I want is to run and blow things up?
Now, seriously - I found it amusing, I like the retro style and the careless gameplay. But at least solve the balance problem. The ship gets to tough too soon, there are too many useless creeps (that serve only to help the ship with more power-ups), the health shouldn't be refilled after each level maybe after each boss) and on the top of it all bosses are far too easy.

I will say this much. If this is a first attempt, it is very well done. That being said, if you're a skilled programmer, you should add some more variety into the game. Basically the enemies are all the same throughout the levels, just with different skins. And my biggest pet peeve is this, you should get more experience as you advance through stages, not less. Make your levels take more experience to reach, don't give less experience as you advance.

If you call crawling at a slow pace action, then by all means is this an action game. And just because you can improve stats, it doesn't make it an RPG.

the games description is misleading because it has no action what so ever and just because you upgrade something doesn't make it a rpg game 2/5
