it was entertaining so i don't think difficulty was that bad i mean most games take forever this one made you be able to win (is that a bad thing) 5/5

Too easy. The only problem was that the boundaries did not extend all the way to the screen. The ship is way slower than my reactions are, even if the ship is fully upgraded on speed. I practically see the shot, but my ship just starts to move when it's already hit. Forcing the player to upgrade health isn't very nice either. Like Roaric said, why make the bosses drop green orbs? Pointless. 3/5.

Good potential, but so easy that it gets WAAAY too boring. You need to put about 2x the number of enemies on the screen, and give about 1/2x the number of health balls. Also, could use a little variety.

I thought to myself, "full heal at the end if a wave? A little easy, but all right. Wait, the enemies drop health too? And you get a full heal when you level health?" Then I realized that the asteroids only drop health as well.
The game is kind of cute, but waaaaay too easy.

its a great game, great potential but its way too easy like for the last boss if u have full health upgrade and u don't move at all you will beat it so for me its a 3/5 but keep working at it id love to see the next updates :)

Good game... but it lacks something... i dunno what, it just does...
Overall i give it 3.91/5 - As it's good graphics, Good sound, however it Lacks Difficulty, and the levels could be longer... Plus i think there should be some way to customize your ship how YOU want it... idk if that what it lacks, in my opinion... but ...

An easy game does not make it bad game. I like the concept, and I hope this is either upgraded, or a sequel is made. 4/5.

nearly maxed everything by the time i finished, had i payed more attention at the beginning i would have been able to max all. good graphics, too easy, more/more complex upgrades would be nice.

Nice "standard" concept, a bit to easy in my opinion thou (maybe I'm to used to touhou thou ;P ), also gets tedious/boring, maybe less stages and higher/choosable difficulty would make it better, also there isn't really any variety to leveling up/upgrading, graphics is ok for a flash game, the music sings about my grandma I think, it's ok, probably has potential, also I'm not sure if I like the leveling system as it is, I think you should be able to replay earlier levels for xp grind if it gets to hard later on, but, as it is now it has no replay value whatsoever... except for hi-score... IDK

Very great game in everything except for difficulty. Needs bullet hell style gameplay and less health pickups. Still deserves a 5/5.

Good proof of concept for game engine. Needs better levels, enemies, upgrades , difficulty etc, as have been mentioned by others. With that in mind I'd like to see a Ray Quest 2 with a lot more effort put into game design and content.

has potential... I think. Not that bad, but not very good... could use a more sophisticated upgrade system, better bosses, more difficulty, a plot...etc... 3/5

Love the good-old-SNES-Star-Fox-like Graphics! It's a simple game, but very well made! The graphics are pleasant, and the game is a relaxing shooter.
But I didn't like the idea of the impossibility to upgrade too much just one or two stats in my ship.
I voted 5/5!

I'm prett disappointed by this game. The graphics are nice, I'll give you that, but the overall difficulty of this game is way low. I feel like im playing a washed down version of Upgrade Complete, and I mean really washed down. I give it 2 stars for the graphics and because the music isn't half bad either. Still this game has a long ways to go but its ot potential

as a pre beta, its not really bad, not worth more than 2 stars for the efforts.
Needs better music, better gameplay, better levels, better plot... well, a plot and characters, if you want to call it "rpg"... what kind of role you play in this game? a pilot that... shoots?
Keep improving it

A rather pleasant little blatant rip off of raiden, but amusing all the same. The music was horrible though, glad you included a mute button. Overall a bit easy, but amusing.
