The game is good but it would be better to update it since it seems to you that the hostile ships have improvements and the player does not, tonce to match it, make that improvements can be put to the ships

Ace, (in case you didn't already beat it) the only way to get ahead in 13 is to wait for your ships to build up, then send them at the same shipyard the enemy is attacking when they send their ships out. that way the enemy turrets will be distracted (letting your ships get close enough to capture). Once you have a facility or two, you can build up ships in the center and wait for them to waste the next fleet before attacking.

You do not combine this way of moving your units with an ice skating like movement, You do not do that, it's annoying to not know where your units will stop, if you did like a line, like the one use in Pixel Legion, it would be okay, but those giant arrows don't work because they require more movement of your mouse to appear, which will lead to imprecise movements.
And the AI is a bit, well, uh, unfair, because, like in stage 8, you can only move one unit at a time, while the AI moves the two at once.

Whoever made this game.Whatever this game is,how hard it is how awsome it is its always gonna be the best game for me

@Brightredmoon The trick to level 24 and any other ones featuring yellow is to not allow yellow to build up properly. Go for yellow once you have a force built up and only stop focusing them when they are crippled.

Nice game. slick graphics, and very simple controls. A bit grindy if you forgte tactics, but a little thought and trial and error and each level can be won without the grind.

yellow takes level 24 always. not saying its immpossible, but nearly- what am i slightly doing wrong? once they are in a group of 3, they seem to be able to reload on board anti missile ammo faster than 6 to 8 of your own. Frustrating breezing through most levels then getting stopped on this one with a near unbeatable advantage.
Enjoyed it rather than giving up beating it- missing that satisfaction.

well usually the best way to win is just to rush them, since your ships will win a 1v1 dogfight half the time. Of course, this doesn't work when you spawn with too many ships.

I have gained all the medals!Cheers! If you are losing, don't restart.Click the strategy guide and they will be friendlier(sure I only used it twice).Good luck everyone!

Basically, the Deep Red are micro masters. However, since they do not actually capture faster, they are not that impossible to beat. You just have to make sure that you do not waste any second in mobilizing your ships to the next structure, that you have the right numbers and positions to take down enemy ships (which you should at every chance possible), and that your ships have as little down time as possible.
Fighting these guys require you to grab every advantage, no matter how small.

Concerning the Deep Red faction: some people say that they capture faster. The truth is that they simply have a war doctrine where they try to spread as fast as possible, which is combined with the AI directly controlling them so they aren't hindered by human interface mistakes. It is not an actual ability, like the Greens having better engines.

@ApolloFowl, you do know that you are suggesting the more ships = less capture time game mechanic to the developer of Solarmax?

Tip against green: They generally predict what station you want to go to so make a jagged path towards the station you really want to go, then continue that path to the decoy. Once they've taken the bait, change your flight path to go to the original destination. It's reverse psychology. For example, if you really want to go to point A, you pretend to want point B so they'll go there, leaving point A to you. Saves a lot of time and effort imo.

An idea would to maybe allow the amount of ships to control how fast a station is captured. For example, one ship would take 5 seconds, two ships would take 2.5, etc.

Excellent game. Wish there were more levels with each faction. Requires a different type of learning and tactics that most people find too difficult. Well done.

Overall nice game. The graphics and music are wonderfull. Gameplay is constantly varying in difficulty. The controls are "interesting". And I still dont know what is the special abaout the noamal red and deep red ships.

@space6011 You can control the fast green ships and the Leviathans in the bonus levels. Beat the mission 25 to unlock the bonus levels.

I like this game and I like the difference from your solarmax games in that the opponents become specialized and have different ships. You need to balance them better though because the yellow Leviathans always beat the other ships. All have been a good challenge and I want more. The only real problem I have is the way you box ships and it's hard to grab the number of ships I actually want.

RTS fun :3 I loved it and I keep going back to replay levels. I hope you keep making more RTS games! I am really enjoying your space themed ones.

finally made it to stage 18 red ships which keep all orange advantages as well as being able to capture buildings faster
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
on stage 17 and cant pass it the fact is the orange ships have an unfair advantage each ship can shoot down more missiles than mine but we both start out even meaning i cannot generate enough ships fast enough to defeat enemy

4/5, enjoyable but needs lots of work. So far it feels like I'm only doing practice levels and not actual gameplay. lol... anyways yeah, this... this is a great idea, just needs to be worked on.

Novel idea for a neat minimalist design, but has huge balancing issues on some of the last maps. The game is missing some basic RTS controls, like factory output routing. The mechanics of missiles and point defense are muddy and not immediately evident, and it's hard to figure out tactics because it's not transparent what gives the edge in combat.

Merglon, I had the same problem and all I did was hold down the mouse button at the edge of the map until the circle was as big as it could get then dragged to the middle area. Worked like a... something that works really well...
