Easiest way to beat the game is to get Greed to the max level as soon as possible, so spend all your points on it. After that you will get so much money that you can buy dozens of lvl ups in the shop which will increase your soul and stats. I got Atk, Def, Move and Greed maxed out this way.

Nice game, a little repetitive, but it was short enough that it didn't get boring.
@phabyos: if you get almost all stats, you can kill the second to last enemy fairly easily, you just take about 50 or less damage out of your 1k soul. while dealing 100+ to them

@jrl332005: those tips pop up randomly. I never got the "Get full stats!" message until about stage 16. That's really poor planning.

I just maxed out soul. :D This is an amazing game, all I could ask from this game is maybe a way to train that's not a part of the main level system, and equipment. Other than that, this game is just awesome.

A first-time player won't know that they have to max out at least one attribute. Obviously, everyone has their own strategy now.
There are too few levels for someone to coincidentally max out a stat. Unless your strategy is pre-meditated, you're going to lose

Bellisus: you can't (or shouldn't) kill the 2 last monsters, you have to use instant kills. You pay $25 for each but gets $50 from the monster.

I had all stats completely upgraded except for Soul, which was 6 levels away from completion. The order I filled my stats was Greed, Defense, Attack, Move, Sight, Soul.

RaceBandit: level 1 point in attack, 2 points in defense, then max out greed. After greed, max out defense, move, attack, sight and soul(exactly like you did). Remember to kill every monster in the level AND disable the traps (they give you money too). At the shop, buy one shoy kill items, disable traps and as many level ups you can.

Maxed out attack. Still couldn't beat some enemies and had to use instant kills. One retry on level 18. Game gets a bit repetitive. 3/5.

Austino: yes, it's possible and quite easy. Max out greed first, then defense, and use the money to buy trap removers (they give money too) and level ups. Kill every single monsters each level to get a lot of money. You'll reach level 18 with almost all skills maximized.

Argh! Maxed out Greed, then Defense, then Move, then Attack, then Sight... and then I was only able to level up soul five times! Is there a better sequence?

just so you know, I don't think its possible to get max stats (thats how you take over the devil) without hacking the game :P

@Shadsy it says you have to have a stat full by the last level in the instructions just before starting the first level

Great game, but given how many level ups there are, it's impossible to get the good ending without power leveling. You need to make it obvious REALLY early on that you need max stats to properly win the game. Otherwise, you'll play the entire thing through balanced until the last level where it tells you "By the way, to win, you need to start the whole game over and replan your strategy." It's too natural to want to play through the whole thing with balanced stats.

17150, maxed attack defense and greed, lol. Defense and greed maxed together is just free leveling lol. Could use a way to continue play after beating.

can you kill the red ox demon thing without instant kill or regenerate because i maxed out atk (122) def (122) and soul (1210) and i still have to use either regenerate twice or instant kill

B.S. Apparently "max level" to beat the game includes the bonus, not just "max level".
I took soul to max but didn't put any into bonus and it wasn't enough. Lame.

This is BS, I completed the game with full soul (i.e. Can take over the Devil) I got a score and it still keeps saying "The game is not over... bleh blah" so I can't submit my score

Eh. its alright, but i tried to make just a balenced person but you cant. And i was hoping that you could end up maxing out all of your stats. but you cant. still fun for the 10 mins though 3/5
