This game is very good. The character is fun and fluid to control. It's satisfying to cut through enemies..... I hope this game keeps updating and getting better.

AH!! I had 6591 score and then I hit accidentally pagedown or something on the keyboard and lost my last couple lives! Still barely the top score on the board but it could've been so much higher!

The story was pretty good and made me laugh! I like the core gameplay, but I felt it might have been *slightly* too simple at times. Other than that, great game!

Top top game, took me right back to to the Apple][ days, just with much better music. If only there was the odd bit of scenery to break =)

Now this is what flash games are all about. Simple but unique silly concepts created with nothing but love for what you're doing. This is great.

None of the buttons are working for my PS3 controller! square and cross make him go left and right and triangle and circle make him go up him down. select pauses it and R3 attacks! This is SUPER annoying. please fix

so i am guessing the whole game is about a electrican, anime lover, and then he sees a sale and with the sale he sees samurai armor,a cape and a nimble looking katana, then he makes it a energy katana and he goes on to fighting...but my question in,why does he then go slashing?

4/5, 1 star gone because 1: you need an amazing game with extreme effort for 5 star and 2: the game makes references to anime, but isn't anime itself. :)

It sure is great that I can't ever see the actual score screen through the nag to like comment and subscribe like this is a youtube video. And pushing anything at all to try and close said nag ALSO closes the results screen.

Great game 5*!! 2 Things I liked, one being able to move/adjust while charging keeps the mobility up thumbs up there, and two being able to charge through enemy projectiles. I found myself charging into the guys with shields and dying maybe a distance arrow on ground so I know the move will finish behind them. THX :)

For a moment think of everyone outside the English speaking world and do not use controls that will break our fingers when we try to charge and slash using two buttons which lie on the opposite ends of our keyboard....

For me its stuck in stage 29, the go arrow does not appear and nothing I do seems to be working, cheers for brillant graphics and mechanics though, good luck on its further development
Oh bummer, don't you remember anything? Pm me any details if you do please, it seems there's a bug surrounding stages 20 to 30, I'm glad liked it! really sorry for this bug, I'm trying my best to fix it.
Edit: just updated the game regards this issue.

This is really fun I wasn't expecting a beat em up great controls and graphics it goes with a retro theme same with the music

This game is really cool! I love the retro-y feel to the game but I feel like the dash kind of gets repetitive (Yeah I know about the shock too) so what if after a few level ups you gain a new move? (Teleport behind the enemy and slash, and stuff)

This game has great core gameplay. The character is fun and fluid to control. It's satisfying to cut through enemies. The intro cards and backgrounds have a great aesthetic. All the animations look great. Having gamepad support was a great addition. I love the streamlined nature of the game as it is, but I would pay good money for an expanded version.
Thanks so much my dude! This was just for a jam so that's why the lack of content, any support can help us do more things in the future with our projects! :)
We did the best we could in the time given for the jam, with more dev time we'd have sure added more enemies and art content! :) I'm glad you enjoyed the game nonetheless

Nice music. Gameplay is fine, but there should be at least some healing items and levels with different backgrounds. Also hero abilities and stuff. I'll give you 5 stars if you promise to work on it. Look up streets of rage 2 for a good example of a game.
Whenever you level up you get 1 hp, that could help a bit, we don't want to make the game too easy, there's already some competition going on the leaderboards and that's cool haha. I'm sorry about the backgrounds, I pushed myself as hard as I could in the week (This was for a game jam) I had to make the game haha, I understand what you mean though :) Thanks a lot for the feedback, I'll loop up Streets of Rage 2.

What an atmosphere, I love it. It's a pity it's a simple scroller-arcade type of game so I guess it won't do great rating-wise but it was still a great stuff to play.
Hey thanks a lot! We did the most we could achieve in the jam duration time. Whatever happens I'm glad some people could have some fun with our game <3!

This game is awesome. I dont play many games that arent online (Im a multiplayer kind of guy lol) but this game has got me hooked. Has a nice old style look to it like NES or Gameboy. I was thinking though, maybe have certain enemies you can kill for HP? The getting 1 hp for a level up thing is nice but the farther you progress the easier it is to die (not bad. The game wasnt meant to be extremely easy) and I think it would be nice if every, lets say 5-10 levels, there was some enemy you could kill that would give you 1 hp. This is just a thought man. Really like this game. 5 stars from me!
That was an idea we had planned and we might think about it but we wouldn't like the game to be way too easy :) I'm really glad I could gather the attention of a competitive multiplayer player. Thanks for enjoying the game!
