Huge improvement from the first Aurora. The first played more like an escape the room puzzle, this one more like a graphic adventure. The art is stunning. Yeah, picking up an anvil was a weird choice, you could've just gone with tying the lever to a stump or something...
The only disapointing thing about the game is the lack of alternatives. Too direct, you don't have to scratch your head at anything, it's just go there, pick that up, go back, use the item, end the chapter....
The exciting thing about graphic adventures is having lots of possible paths and feeling lost until you find the right solution. Otherwise it's just an animated story.
5/5 for leaving me eager to see how much better Aurora 3 will be.

Very short game, but enjoyable nonetheless. As others have mentioned, having a little hint here and there would've helped the game more playable. I figured it out with trial and error though, clicking like a lunatic. Protip: If you can't advance, it's either because you need to pick an item up or you need to use whatever's in your inventory. Hope that helps!

I found the story much more captivating than part one though I agree it was short. Still its a good cliffhanger. I lilke the pacing and I liked the puzzles, I guess people want a story with branches and ro more hints which some I figured out by dumb luck but adventure games do this... thats a hell of a looooong trip to go from where they are at in the US 0.0, I like how it teases as to who/what Aurora is.

A really short game, also I was like blind right there because there where no hint on what to do in any part and the final pretty kinda crappy

ok i totally agree with EPR89, the things to do are just too random. i had totally no idea i was supposed to use the gun to knock off the "lock" at the ladder. i didnt even think that thing was a lock. This game was more obscure than the first, but still, it was quite fun.

Half the time I do an action, nada happens, I hunt around try the same action and presto this time it works. needs a lot of work not up to your normal work this feels forced. 2/5

I was surprisingly disappointed with this game. Pastel is usually much better, but this one felt totally on rails. There was no thought needed really to continue it. There's only one thing to click really at any time and the story moves forward. As an interactive story, it's great. As a game though, I felt like there was little in the way of choice.

Artwork was fantastic. Seriously top notch. I have a couple problems, though. This game was nowhere near as challenging as the last and overall it was way too short. Not to say I didn't enjoy my experience; I still had a lot of fun.

I'm going to give it a 3. Full marks for game design, but the other 2 mark goes to the storyline. I find that this doesn't seem to move the plot along. I -still- have no clue what Aurora is, I'm no closer getting to understand her than Aurora 1. However, the mysterious atmosphere is still there, which is great. Artwork, music, and everything is stunning. A couple of extra hints would be great imo. Expecting Aurora 3.

Personally, I found the story very disappointing when compared to the first game - all of a sudden, the intriguing storyline has vanished into a mire of complex events, reducing Aurora from a sinister figure in the shadows into a veritable MacGuffin. Furthermore, the presentation of the game as a visual novel for the first chapters, with no alternate routes being provided for success, made me lose interest. Though playable, I found A2 to have significant flaws which I hope can be corrected in time for the series's conclusion - I know PG to be the best point-and-click developers anywhere, and I trust their abilities. 3/5. Please don't flame me. :)

Wait, so this guy can carry a anvil around like it's a piece of paper, but he can't kick a rotted wooden door down to go inside a run-down house?

I really enjoyed the game. The artwork and atmosphere were great. Maybe in the next one, make it to where when you scroll over a spot that is going to take you to a different section, have a pop up thing come up to say so. Also, maybe some more click-able clues? I had no idea what to do at the ladder with the lock and had to look it up. Other than that, I loved it.
