The whole "keys in random places" thing doesn't work here, considering that we're IN OUR OWN DAMN SHELTER. Other than that, love the game.

The only thing I don't like is that it's hard to find places you can look. It took a hint for me to find the gear because I didn't click the right pixel to look in on the shelf. Why not just let me take it off the shelf on the same screen?

So you deliberately made the game impossible. Some things you have a mouse over icon change to show you can interact and others there is no clue as to any possible interaction, like using a key on a draw or paste + toxic on the tiny lock. Not very fun having to use a walkthru or just random guessing on what will interact with what. Why not just do away with all mouse over change icons? 1/5 sry

solved most part of it by myself, but without hints from comments it would be very hard figure out some stuff, specially when you get distracted by red herrings. the part where you need to type a code to get the suit off also kept me wondering, because the keys don't make a sound and there is no visual feedback, I wasn't sure if it was actually working, or if i needed to do something else to turn it on.... I think useless stuff in the game can be interesting to some level, but when combined with other problems if may create a lot of frustration >.>

its a chemical reaction to make acid to melt the lock. how your supposed to infer that you need to do that i have no clue

I dunno about some of those puzzles yo. Why the heck would we know to put paste and toxic crap on a lock? That makes no sense.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The puzzles are way to random and often I have to click on one very specific point on an item in order to activate it.

Very illogical puzzles. Reminds me of Myst in that there is no direction but plenty to click. Would've preferred a setting that felt more like a place your character lived in than a ruin he stumbles upon.

Normally Pastelgames never dissapoint. Always some logic puzzles to boggle the mind.
There are however a few things that's way too far out to solve by logic, and where you just try everything on everything, desperate to get some reaction.
The ambiance is as always very dense and helps sell this post-apocalyptic world. The art's solid.

First thing, what to do in a fallout shelter is to turn gas on and burn and melt some stuff to loot the debris. Search then for other useless stuff and collect it. Then put toothpaste and a unknown toxic on lock to watch, what happens. Search for random numbers, which are maybe written during a beerful day all around the shelter and try to enter them somewhere. Just like the real live ;).

you can find this place in the fog fall 3 ther you can see the cowgirl pster to and you can see the skeleton of the guy you play in this game

This is illogical. The puzzles don't make any sense, and it is too hard to put the numbers in certain areas. Also, on another note, there are many places I missed originally because the area to click to go to certain areas/do certain things is small. 3/5, needs work.

i don't see what you all are talking about, calling the ENTIRE game illogical. the matches, yeah, that was a pain in the butt. and the toothpaste thing was completely retarded. but otherwise, it was a good game.

Great art but awful game. I've played some of their other games and they're great but this one definitely isn't. Absolutely impossible without following the walkthrough. No logic to this one at all. Unfortunately, a big fail. Only giving it 2/5 but I would have only given it 1/5 if it wasn't for the great art.

(SPOILER ALERT) along with the toxic+toothpaste, I'd also like to mention the random code parts scattered around. one part of it written on some random newspaper, other on the periscope view, and another code scratched into the wall. what the bleeding f is that about? most of us write our codes into memory or a small book/paper, not parts of it in a periscope, a radio, a wall, a pipe... and yeah, a freaking matchbox in the goddamn wiring.

Nice art, nice evocative atmosphere, BAD game. Locked room games are supposed to make you think outside the box for plausible solutions. Unfortunately, this games makes you think outside a box which could have been designed by Escher.
To quote an earlier poster.... "toothpaste + toxic = wtf" indeed.

now im not saying that this isnt a good game, cause it most definitely is, but i dont rlly like the fact that you cant pass this game without a walkthrough.
