aww, bugged! I got into a fight with a merchant galleon in the Sea of Blades, and none of the buttons were clickable. Also, the enemy took me down to 0 hull points (no animations on attacks), but the match did not end.

Ha, loved the bit about trying to prevent the heat death of the universe. Is that an easter egg for super high reputation in FoY or did i just miss it the first time around? Also, is there a similiar easter egg for finishing El Dorado With high reputation? 300+ should be doable, -200 for genocide, leaves you still at 100+. Beloved Tyrant? Or is it overwritten by the default Wealthy Hero?
Glad you liked that part, writing that ending was one of my favourite parts of making the entire game, going all-out sci-fi. (It's the standard ending to the fountain of youth quest). Tempted to use it as the basis of a sequel set in space (I have around 6 ideas for potential sequels), but that all depends on how this game does first, whether or not sequels are made.
The titles/ ranks at the end are made up of 2-3 different parts which are dependant on your morale, reputation and doubloons. I guess you'd get "wealthy beloved hero" if you somehow managed to get 300+ rep before committing genocide. :p

This game was pretty awesome, maybe in the sequel consider adding more quests and more variety in the ships. Good luck with the sequel :D

Nice game. Got all the endings and judging by numbers El Dorado seemed to be the most difficult. If you consider 400 armed to be a strenght of 800, you'd need at least 200 heavily armed to best them, which is double Hydra's Keep's strenght. The text (peaceful tribe) suggested we'd need less, but i didn't want to risk it. The text for Fountain of Youth seemed to suggest needing one of the artefacts or high reputation, but that might have been just flavour. Beat it with all items (except the 2 other maps) and a reputation of ~100.

Good game with great potential. Pity I can't beat Fountain of Youth yet. :(
So far only 1 bug encountered: when I want to click CARGO or TROPHIES, the game occasionally opens a new Turbo Nuke window. Otherwise it's pretty neat. Looking forward to further developments!

The game itself is quite addictive, however the entire concept of doing it before the weeks run out makes my rating go down to 3.

Very good game. One thing- you should add option to play without the time limit, it would be more fun as there are so many quests to do and so little time!
Still trying to find this bug, anyone that runs into it, submit a bug report with your flash player version and browser and I'll see what I can do to fix it. Can't replicate it myself at the moment.

I like this game, but I feel like there isn't enough variety in the mid-late game enemies. Some seas I wasn't getting anything but sea monsters... (I suppose this could be the point, but if so it should be said in-game.) Crew should probably play a role other than just for boarding, since later ships have too much defense for it to be worth it, since you have to feed and hire crew, in addition to spending grape shot. Perhaps if crew affected reload speed, with bigger ships needing more crew to reload efficiently.
The enemy was more heavily armed than you. Buy pistols and cutlasses from the store to boost your crew's attack strength. A crew member with a pistol and cutlass is worth double!

It would be nice to continue after victory, there's plenty to do after the time limit is up. Getting a little more gold to start with isn't much of a boon.
This was something I considered, but ultimately decided that it makes the trophies a little too easy if you get infinite weeks in which to complete them. Completing the Fountain of Youth quest line in 100 weeks before Haddock gets you is pretty challenging, and I wanted to keep that difficulty intact, and keep the game enjoyable throughout multiple playthroughs. I might switch to a different approach for the sequel, possibly having the multiple endings one after another.. e.g. once you beat the boss you get a map to a whole new set of seas. Thanks for the feedback, I'll see what everyone thinks!
Currently investigating this, will let you know how it goes.
EDIT: I can't seem to replicate this, I've tried the adventure a number of times and it seems to work fine for me, even if I buy everything from the store. Can you let me know what web browser/ flash player version you've got so I can look into this a bit more? Cheers. :)
