WOW! What story writing! (And I like the background music too.) It makes the puzzle-solving even more fun! This is by far my favorite game at Kongregate (so far?)!! I don't know (yet?) what got progress saving to start working (after playing the first few chapters several times through the first few days), but I'm sure glad it did.

Finished a playthrough, went to check the standings, and Aether's trust crossed over Beth's and went off the screen. Nice.
Thanks for playing! We've got another project on the way - though sadly not on Kong - so check out our other socials if you want to keep tabs on what's next.

Finally completed it. A bit of a mindf..k but well done! I'd love to see this as a TV series. You sure Netflix haven't come a knockin'?

Man, I really want to get some friends together to voice act this game. It is SOOO good!! I also desperately need a sequel to this game.

Seriously that might have been one of the most incredible free games I've found to play on the Internet. Work of art.

I honestly wasn't expecting that twist in the end. I must say that one matching puzzle on chapter 26(?) really frustrated me. I ended up guessing at one point. ^^;;;

This is the most underrated game on Kongregate. I have been spellbound ever since I began, and skipped several hours of precious sleep because I couldn't put it down. This game can appropriately be called a life's work, but I hope the developer someday creates at least one more.

Ink: She's barely legal.
Sean: Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
Me: Just sitting here laughing my head off

I struggled with Chapter 14 for over an hour and finally consulted a walkthrough. My solution distributed the weight evenly and, although I know it conflicted with the hints, it allowed John Doe to have both of his arms! But he would have to be amputated at the left knee.... I'm still smacking myself in the head.

The story is supposed to be based on logic and reason, yet it violates not only actual standards of logic and reason, but even its own standards and reason within its fictional universe.
That really makes it difficult for the player to understand correctly, and since the rules of this universe aren't consistent, makes it impossible to logically predict or find solutions to things.

I only played this game now that the badge was added and I wonder how I could ever miss out on this game jewel. Thank you very much for creating such a deep storyline.

Ok, officially, this is THE BEST and the most thrilling story I have ever seen. The game itself wasn't too demanding, the puzzles are more or less trivial, but the adventure was awesome. As soon as I thought I had everything figured out, there comes another "wow" moment and the story gets totally new dimension. I give this game a 5/5 and I will be extremely disappointed if I don't see this game turned into a movie. I mean it.

... I forgot all about this game. I lost all of my progress from when it originally ended at 14 though. Here we go again!

This game isn't working for me, when i press chapter 1 it comes up with a grey screen and a frowny face? Is this happening to anyone else or just me?

I was first interested in the story when i started playing and had high expectations but there's just too much idle chat and it gets boring, so in the end I didn't really care to much for the characters.

Fair question, here: How the HELL are you supposed to figure out half of these puzzles without hints, or some kind of guide? In most *games* of this kind, the NPC's are utterly useless at helping you, so it's not really useful to have them there as a hint system, unless you explicitly state their potential value (Rae, for example, being a computer genius). By its own standards (being fun as a mandatory condition), I really can't call Exit/Corners a game. It's mind-breaking, not mind-bending. Some of the puzzles were so obscure, I needed a guide regardless. The trouble with some of the puzzles is that, even if you know the answer, you don't know how to translate that answer into the puzzle so it accepts your input. (For example, Puzzle#2 only considers your answer correct if you do it as they intended, even if you can form the shape with the blocks in a passable manner otherwise!)

i also really like how if you click on "extras" then on "catch up" every chapter gets unlocked and also you have the option to skip puzzles

I played this a while ago, and liked it. It wasn't finished then, so I'm back. Gotta ask though - did you add the trust bars later? Do my actions and choices affect them? Do they affect the story?
The trust bars were there from the start. They do change a few things, but the changes are almost all near the end of the story. I wouldn't worry _too_ much about them. :)

Wow... That was an emotional journey! Don't know if you're gonna read that one but... that was an amazing adventure. Thank you. Great script, very interesting characters, not-too-difficult puzzles (they didn't obstruct the plot), no super weird plot twists, not too many loose ends, good art (I wish there were more CGs but I like this style)... I absolutely adore this game (I might be biased, I'm a linguist) and I would definitely pay for your future projects. I hope you can keep it up. I especially liked how you managed to develop these complex characters in such a limited amount of time - I hated Liza but she matured with time, Beth could easily become annoying as an archetype of a grieving character but you gave her awesome comebacks. Once again - great job!
Thank you for the kind words! I'm working on a second project as we speak, but it'll be a little while before I'll be able to post anything here. Consider giving us a follow on social (@MoonMothGames on Twitter, or the Discord) to keep tabs on what we're doing - that's the best way you can support us right now. :)
