4/5 - I came in expecting a puzzle game with narative elements and walked out with a narative story that had puzzles once every ~15 minutes. Aside from the the text dumps being laid on a bit much at times (especially towards the end), some of the puzzles being a bit to hard (requiring a tad to specific of knowledge in my opinion, or to much trial and answer), the artwork lacking at times (I would not mind seeing the characters actually exist in the environment and not just exist as cardboard cutouts standing 6ft away from me), and the story falling a bit a apart as they try tie together all the loose threads and subplots, it's a pretty good game.

Omg, I'm completely clueless on my current chapter, but I'm really disappointed I don't get any props for thinking that Liza was once... Sent :-D

If I had a nickel for every time I laughed about Rae sh*tting on Liza, I'd be a rich man. "That's a f*cking pencil" XD. I played this one over a few times.

Is it okay to see the large white rectangular in "Extras/Standings" in front of Aether's portrait after choosing her in chapter 4?

That was intense. Didn't have such an intense game experience for a very long time. No wonder it's on the "Best of 2017" quest. Should be in "the very best of Kongregate" if such a thing existed. I don't know why this only got a 4.0 Rating while some crap generic f2p/mmo/cash-grab or even some idle games got higher. It has some weaknesses, of Course, but everybody who Plays this actually has to see the very huge amout of work and love put into this.

Why it does not go directly to the next chapter?! Kind of annoying...if you want to skip dialogue, keep pressing return!

I have played this game and for some reason since then I am afraid of playing Dr. Kawashimas Brain Training. Strange...

You should like, add another badge for the people that did all the chapters. You. It would be fair to be rewarded for playing through the entire thing

Oh yeah! I almost forgot about this series since I played it before it was finished. What a delight to find it finished today!

As a psych major who just went through finals week the line about not actually being able to figure people out and finding something "useful" while you still have a chance from Rae hits me on so many levels

WOAH WOAH WOAH, I found a glitch! If you quit when you see the timer in chapter eight, you can move the timer! THE LAWS OF TIME ARE OURS!

OMG, I LITERALLY LOST IT WHEN BETH DIED! WHY WOULD YOU KILL OFF THE SWEET OLD LADY! I mean, COME ON, SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?

Intriguing...

Am I a time traveller?

This has a very Zero Escape feel to it in all the best ways. I'm not even through chapter two and I already love it~~ Great job! (Also I would die for Aether. She's a whole 10/10)

I don't know how to feel about the ending. I kind of wish Sent could stick around somehow, helping Detective Ink solve cases. It would be fabulous.

The 27th puzzle when you have to rotate 90o, rotate 90o, mirror image, half rotate and invert is way to hard! I didn't expect to need to repeat one option.

Great Game all around, had me hooked all the way through... and then there's the ending. I'm honestly sure whether I'm satisfied or not. >.> So many questions left unanswered...

Now that the game is essentially complete, how about adding a badge for finishing Chapter 29? Call it "...or we could live".

Wow. Thank you Percon, for such an insightful and mind-boggling game that tied so many big topics together in a (fairly) digestable manner. I've fallen in love with all the characters in the story, even the so-called antagonists, and I think that's telling of how well you managed to portray the grey areas of morality and the complexity of the human psyche. Overall amazing game with beautiful storytelling and fun puzzles, 10/10 would play again but maybe after I've taken time to recover from the existential loop it threw me into. Thanks again for giving us this absolute work of art ❤

can someone explain how the john doe puzzle makes sense? I found the answer to be one side equaling 36.1 and the other equaling 32.9. Is there some sort of coefficient I should be multiplying to the arm to make it make sense or???

this game really reminds me of that DS game called 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors.. I love that game and wanted more games that were like that so finding this on kongregate is a treat!

lol so Beth did die. I was hoping the horde would beat the noodles out of Sean in the last chapter, but he didn:t even appear.

@Percon : Thinking back of the time there were only 17 chapters, you were saying you did not know yourself how the story would continue... Amazing SF plot! It was worth the wait... but now it's worth a sequel too :) Aw the feels, I'm grieving the "dead" people at the end. And one last thing, I'd love to see the logs mentioned in Q/A
