i keep on getting this error
An exception has occured, but exception handling has been disabled in this build. If you are the developer of this content, enable exceptions in your project WebGL player settings to be able to catch the exception or see the stack trace.
How do i fix this?
Is this your first time trying to launch the game? Also, what browser are you using? Feel free to DM me your details and hopefully we can work this out.
The catch-up tool was hidden for this new build with badges - if you still need to use it, DM me and I can let you know how to access it. Noted about that one SFX, thanks.

I made the mistake of starting this game about half an hour before I should have gone to bed. It's going to be a hard morning tomorrow. Loving it so far and really looking into getting through the rest. Thanks for badging this one, Greg - it deserved it!

Just couldn't deal with the slow text speed, even after turning it up all the way -- it feels like a loading screen every two seconds. Please include an option to just put all the text on the screen at once.

Having a lot of fun with this. The end of chapter 8 annoyed me since I wanted to choose differently, but I guess a linear story's easier to write... right Rae?

@shannanan i didn't experience any of the problems you have listed and i have played all the chapters it was probably just your computer or internet.

A lot of text, it is pretty much like an interactive book of sorts. The puzzles can really test your logic thinking. I like the way the developer has thought of a good way to include the hints (as you can ask each character for help). Great game!

Not worth playing. Keeps lagging then crashing. So much text and the shortcut for skipping chapters every time I have to reload firefox doesn't work (hold OPEN on chapter screen). I admit I was interested in the story and puzzles but spending 3 hours and having to reload the first 4 chapters 3 times, spending a large amount of time waiting for the game to stop lagging... I just don't care anymore.

There really doesn't seem to be much 'playing' to this game......
It has taken me nearly 30 minutes to reach Chapter 4, the 3 very brief puzzles so far have taken less than 5 minutes (though the 2nd was clever).
In essence Chapter 1, click for 10 minutes, solve an incredibly easy puzzle, keep clicking. Rinse and repeat....

I don't understand why people are saying this is a "game" in the comments. I tried "playing" it for half an hour, and it's just a book. All you do is click the mouse. It's not even that well written, this should be on a fan-fiction website, not a game website.

An honestly refreshing and incredible game - be prepared for a lot of dialogue and reading, but that's a good thing as it fleshes out each character and the story. I also appreciate the hint system as it feels like more of a collaborative effort and is tiered enough that it doesn't necessarily give the answer away - in fact some characters' hints are 'useless' in some puzzles in that they don't add to the solution, but they do add to their personalities which is great.
The one thing that I did not read into when I started playing was that this is the first half of the game, and am thus equal parts wistful and excited about the release of the second half.
Well done Percon and keep up the good work, will certainly come back to finish the whole game!

I would be dead ontheir place. I can't break this damn cypher while using PC and dicionary.
P.S. No clues pls. I will eventually break it.

I enjoyed playing it. It felt kinda similar to "9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors" game. Hope to see more of the game and that Sentient AI.

in puzzle 14 you should be able to look at the note, just in case like me you rush through the near endless conversations to get to the puzzles

oh god! too much clicking to go to the puzzle which is solve is 10 seconds, that is anoying... add a skip button please

Hmm, thought this would be just another one of those "click past tons of dialogue, do a puzzle, repeat" games but boy was I wrong. Been playing a couple of hours now and it's like a really fantastic book, amazing to put down. Kudos to the developer on this one.

I will be honest I love the game. With that being said I am tired of games coming out in chapters either as updates or as separate games (I am looking at you Medieval Cop and .hack and Golden Sun) I understand the time it takes to make each installment and I understand having one chapter be released as a test to see if people are interested in the consent/game to begin with. But to me the feel of chapter by chapter release is just a way to get people to re-hit the site to drive up ad revenue.
With that being said I enjoy the game and I love the story that is unfolding. Keep up the good work and I hope to come back to this when it is all finished.

Aaaaah! I hope this is one of those "To be continued..." games which actually does end up being continued. You can't just leave us on that D:. Anyway, a definite 5/5 from me. Engaging puzzles, great story, etc. Kind of reads more like interactive fiction than a game but that's definitely not a bad thing. I love the little details which make it feel more like you're doing this with real people, such as other people also wandering off to do their own things and occasionally solving puzzles and stuff without you- their autonomy makes them feel a lot more real. Kudos to you.

"Uncaught RangeError: Array buffer allocation failed". If an interactive fiction needs more than 400MB to run, that means you programming skills suck, and you also suck. 1/5

One thing I might suggest is an auto-skip for the text. It's a bit straining to click/space spam when you're replaying for different dialogue options. :)

I have to say this is a really great game. I havent seen something this good and this well planned out in a long time on Kong. Props dev. Major props.

D, N, C, F, K, - There all different units of temperature. So, I lined them up based on the point at which water boils. 100 C, 212 F, and 373 K. I kinda guessed on the other two. ~Accurate representation on my solving of the puzzle.~ It made me laugh.

Ink is blue, blue Ink makes him crazy. His thoughts are written in blue. Tiana stole the source code out of the blue. Meaning Ink's thoughts contains the source code of the game
Furthermore, Sent is telling he's an A.I. out of the blue. Now thinking about Aether (which is also a blueish color) she is the fifth element connecting to the four elements which are Ink, Rae, Beth, and Liza. The source code 'stolen out of the blue' means that Aether is actually the A.I. trying to use the other four elements to complete her evolution.

To a Mr. "loading___" people do that with ANY game online or off. That's why anyone could find a tutorial on this game or any other game. If you don't want to donate/give money to the devs, then it's best you should stop complaining.

that game is classified as "puzzle" "mystery" and "atmospheric"... i'd classify it as BRUTAL PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER. great game. i still haven't pardonned you for making it episode based, with such a delay between episodes :P
