*time limit is established revealing imminent death for everyone involved if they do not keep moving* "Hm... Let's have a long discussion about the villain's motives and identity".

Some people reported problems there, but for me, the game is saving progress so far. As it is meant to do, after completing each chapter, a new chapter opens in the select screen, and they stay there after turning my PC off and on again so that I can continue from the next chapter. And I really love the game so far, if I wouldn't have to sleep I wouldn't really want to stop playing it now anyway.

The game doesn't actually save after each chapter? I had to replay it 3 times just to finally get to chapter 7. It's discouraging since I've loved it so far...
Hey, sorry you lost your data - this has been happening with some users. I'm going to DM you a quick fix to catch back up very quickly. Hopefully that helps!
(And if anyone else is experiencing these issues, feel free to get in touch!)

If you come here for badges you should know that this game is fairly long and it won't be worth for you to just skip dialogues. Story is really well developed tho so by playing you are giving yourself a favor.

So much clicking, and its quite lethargic to move through. Don't normally have this level of slowness... is it because of unity ?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Halfway through the game and I'm enjoying the story line so far! Just a suggestion, maybe you could implement some sort of back button for the dialogue, so players can reread any dialogue we may have inadvertently skipped?
There is one, it's just not very obvious (sorry!). Use the scroll wheel or arrow keys to go back and read previous dialogue (currently doesn't work for puzzle hints).

@Fairbanksls Because they're not as rational as you're being in their "honesty." Saying "If I wanted to read I'd go to a library" isn't being honest as much as it's just being dickish.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why are people getting downvoted into oblivion for being honest? This is in fact a visual novel with very, VERY light interactivity. I mean that's fine that people enjoy it but if I'm rating it strictly on its merit as a flash game I can't give it high marks.

:( lost my progress. This is the 2nd time I get this. If this is a recurring problem, then maybe it would be better to wait until part 2 is realeased to get it done in one go

So, er, when does the game start, exactly? I've cooked dinner and eaten it since I started "playing" and all I've done is read dialogue and make two apparently irrelevant decisions.

If you loose your progress, JUST REFRESH. It's worked for me in unity games- your progress isn't gone, the game just has trouble connecting to servers, as a lot of unity games do. If you still don't get progress to save ask Percon for the progress thing but this has worked more than not. Keep this alive so people know for when the quest comes out and a lot of people have to return to this game.

The storytelling and plot progression in Exit/Corners is extremely well done, I honestly felt like I was playing a professionally made visual novel, or another sequel to the Zero Escape game series.
Speaking of Zero Escape, it's very clear that many themes in this game are borrowed directly from that game series, particularly 999, though there was one puzzle about John Doe that was highly reminiscent of a puzzle from Virtue's Last Reward. That being said, the implementation of the themes and puzzles is novel and remarkably compelling. I was hooked from start to finish playing through these 17 chapters, and I've been wracking my brain trying to guess where the story will lead. I can really see how difficult it must be to write cliffhangers for each of the chapters, so I truly commend the developer for his storyboarding. I'm excited to play the rest of the chapters later this year.

I left this game 5/5 and favorited while I waited for the rest of it to come out. It leaves off on a major cliffhanger and there hasn't been news about the second game for months. T_T

The walkthrough on the wiki says there's a secret in chapter 17, achieved by the alternate solutions in chapters 2 and 7. What secret?

They're IN a simulation, aren't they? Am quite curious what the puking has to do - what knowledge they're close to when they suddenly get sick.

This is scratching a lot of puzzle game/character driven/VN itches I didn't even know I had. It's an impressive accomplishment and I'm looking forward to arc 2!

Best game I've played in a really long time. I only wish there were more than 17 chapters! I cannot WAIT until this game is updated!

5/5 for this masterpiece, came here just fore the badge. Got the badge, but screw the badge i need to see the rest of the story or i could just die...

This is a real diamond in the rough. A grade a game that I'm shocked is for free. Honestly it was so much better then i would of guessed going in.

"The Four Elements Hotel"? As in, Water, Fire, Earth, and Air? Well, isn't this a twist: according to Plato, the fifth element is AETHER.

When you found the solution, but you still talk to the other contestants for the pleasure of reading the story ! Great game !

Not real sure, but I don't recall doing chapter 15's puzzle at all. In fact, I don't recall the entire story line for chapter 15 from when Rae smashed the Gemini to when Sent called women fragile. I might have been completely out of it, but I honestly don't remember it. I remember doing chapter 14 and then suddenly doing chapter 16.

Awsome puzzles, epic storyline, and even modular auto save chapters with a cut-scene skip button. It this were on Steam I would say $20-$30 would be the reasonable price to buy this. BTW could this game be offered as a download?
