All my progress was lost, how do I get it back or do I have to go through the entire game again? not that I mind but I don't remember all my choices.
Sorry this happened. There are a few different solutions, mentioned in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ExitCorners/comments/6ues7r/save_data_loss_details_what_to_do/?st=j7qembug&sh=1b3dacfb

Chapter 16 is a little bit tricky, you have to solve it in the right order. For Example, if Feb17 = Mar15 would be the Solution it does not accept Mar15 = Feb17

Oh man this is fantastic, please tell me that you're going to finish this. The characters were great, even if it took me a while to like Liza. Each puzzle was engaging and the story and mysteries had me wanting to know more each time. Fantastic!

The equality in Chapter 16 is only accepted as right if input in one order-- inputting with the dates flipped is indicated as incorrect.

@jacob99503 You might be onto something there, but I don't think it's exactly right. Sent makes clear it is his intention to let some of the costentants leave. This means everyone has a chance to survive. SPOILER WARNING: The garden was designed to let Beth volunteer to stay there and die, but she was entirely free to leave as she got to her senses, even allowing her to continue her life happier, probably. Same for Rae, he could choose to take the pills and die, but the sword from the beyond the green door can be used to cut off his arm and free him, which might even help decreasing his ego. This would also explain why Sent wanted you to pick the green door first, it has to be open to get the sword.
I wonder, though, what had happened if I had picked the red door first...

And finally, given the end to chapter 17, it turns out poor old Joe was facing down after all. Also, on the conversation with Aether about 4, it seems to me they missed a possibility. It could be that there are 4 people because each person needs to get eliminated except the winner. This is, after all, a game. Given how it's played out so far, that could have been Sent's plan.

Also there seems to be a bug in chapter 16 where if you put the dates in opposite it doesn't accept it as an answer, which is really annoying because the way it accepts it is the opposite of how Rae tells you it.

I love this game but it irks me how many times I've accidentally clicked twice and skipped dialog that I wanted to read. It would be appreciated if you could ad a back button for the conversations, or some chat log so I don't have to play through the entire chapter for a single line.
You can use the arrow keys or scroll wheel to go back and re-read text you've missed. Also, addressing your other comment, that's a recent bug that I'm working on getting fixed (should be in the next build).

I relly enjoy this game. I find myself spending hours at a time playing it, sad to say ive soon reached the last avalible chapter for now. I want to run an idea by the dev thou: Have you thought about making this into a book? The characters are very realistic and if u do it right im sure it would sell. But if u do it wrong u would probably die, but thats just a minor problem...

Chapter 18 in 2018, Clever numbering :D, Btw please can you make sure you make chapter 18 in one of the weeks pretty please? I really like these series and i dont wanna wait too long for chapter 18, because i might even forget my choices!
Btw im redoing the game to try out what happens if i get along with other guys than Aether(yep she has highest likeness than everyone else)
There are a few things you can do to skip ahead back to where you were. It also may be the case where you just need to reload the game and your data will reappear. See here for details: https://www.reddit.com/r/ExitCorners/comments/6ues7r/save_data_loss_details_what_to_do/?st=j7qembug&sh=1b3dacfb

In chapter 10 Ink says to Beth "You mentioned you have grandchildren, I suppose your kids have kids?" But Beth never said that, Ink raised it a couple of times as a question but Beth (until then) had never said anything about grandchildren. I'm not sure if it has to do with my decision for guessing how many kids she had before, and maybe it was a line carried over from a different answer, (I guessed 1) but the developer should take a look at this maybe. Just something I noticed...

Chapter 18 isn't available until 2018?! What the hell? Why are you going from weekly to over 3 months for the next chapter? You're kidding, RIGHT?
I've got to make the remaining chapters, which may take a while! See here for details: https://www.reddit.com/r/ExitCorners/comments/718nbs/whats_next_for_exitcorners/

Gemini: Astronomy. the Twins, a zodiacal constellation between Taurus and Cancer containing the bright stars Castor and Pollux. Clever.

I think there is sort of bug in the puzzle in chapter 16. Date1 = Date2 is not equivalent to Date2 = Date1, which might confuse many players

Just wanted to say in the 'equation' puzzle (with the months), the answer only works when you put the dates on particular sides of the equation (Eg. Jan 01 = Feb 02 works but Feb 02 = Jan 01 doesn't). Might want to fix this, Percon, especially when Rae tells you to enter it in the way that it doesn't work.

I love how you make it seem like the choices matter, as if I'm actually in the room and not sitting on my ass in front of a monitor. Great game, the most involved I've ever played that wasn't FPS horror genre lol

When you want tocheat a litle bit so you write kind of deciphering programm in Excel but riddle is in another cipher :) At least I have universal deciphering programm working with any combination within one cipher in english.

BTW I ave to admit I was trynig to bruteforce 6th riddle. After checking 1/5 of combinations I've realised how to do it.

Anyway I would be able to proof what Aether wanted (That SEnt isn't probably any of them, or to be more precise, why it is unlikely that he is).

I was thinking Exit/Corners is going to play out like the Weakest Link game. Only one person can win, yet you want to maximize the amount of money you gain. In Exit/Corners you might need some of the contestants to complete a puzzle, yet there can only be one winner. Anyways, in Sept, I plan to take out as many of the other contestants as possible. Maybe a better analogy would be survivor Island. Perhaps that's the simplest answer, all five people agreed and signed to enter the contest. Then, were given an amnesia pill and only one can survive. All the constants are on national T.V. for every second.

I might as well say I founded a wikia for Exit/Corners a while ago. It's just now getting up to speed. It'll include solutions to puzzles, bios on characters, and a few other things.

Ok, so I've checking about once a day since I beat episode 17, apparently there is no more further episodes to 2018. Speculation time, what really bothers me is the different color inks with the same pen. More importantly that the other characters seemed to just blow off the entire event. This points to everyone is Sent's accomplice except you. Some of the characters spend a lot of time talking and deciding what to do over relatively small events. Is person A hiding something, are we in the basement or ground floor, etc. Yet, it seemed most of the characters broke character when they disregarded this event. I really felt the characters should have taken the time to figure out this mystery. I am now of the conclusion that everyone is out to get Ink. Yet, Ink could be a villain. We know little of Ink's past. Therefore, I conclude that Ink is the main villain, and everyone is trying to force a confession out of Ink and is against Ink. Thoughts, comments?

To all who believe that sword is fake or real, if you reached the end of the Arc 1 then try the secret ending. It will show you more depth to the game than you might expect. This game has more to the story than simple plot "4 persons forced to solve lame puzzles". Try to read the reddit most popular topics. Chances are that you missed a lot of subtle details and twists in the story.
The game is a memory hog, so it could be a memory issue. Non-Kong versions (such as on the main site) take a wee bit less memory, so maybe try playing there and see if it helps?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The timer goes off and nothing happens SENT just wanted to see if rae would kill himself to avoid possible torture, and Beth well that sword is fake so..., it should be fun to watch :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can't seem to guess who is telling the truth in this game. Here is some guesses, Sent cannot be A.I. since IBM Watson is the smartest A.I. and lacks the intelligence of Sent. Sent is therefore human. Yet, this doesn't explain all the other coincidences, for example the different color inks with the pen. Also, the fact that the other characters seem to brush aside the different color inks. That being said, Rae is Sent's accomplice, or this is some sort of alternate reality of some sort. Another dimension, in the future, dream, etc.

So Beth's plan doesn't have to go through. But I'm curious what'll happen once the timer reaches zero once again. (And apparently there's multiple solutions to some puzzles? I'll take a look.)
