Game loads an 'EXIT CORNERS' title screen and then does nothing for over half an hour now, doesn't respond to any keypresses or mouse clicks.

Solved 'till episode eight while drunk, no hints required.
sort of long tutorial i guess?
Anyway if i replay a chapter does it change the outcome and dialogues in other chapter depending on my previous choice or not?

Did you think we would enjoy watching Rae become the very thing he'd made fun of during the first test? Well, sorry, I don't. Just the opposite; I felt like I did all that just to play "We Become What We Behold", another game that clearly assumes the player is a vile P.O.S. (and gets really mad if it turns out you are not). Want to prove me wrong and get me back on your side in time for the next chapters? Have Beth pull a King Solomon and Rae manages to yank his arm out all by himself (which will save you from having to redraw him with just one arm too).

i love that the hotel is the 4 elements and aether is sometimes used as the fifth element... I'm assuming that's where you got her name?

I'm about 10 minutes into the game, and so far have had virtually nothing to do but click. Is this a point-and-click version of the anime Gantz? Really feels like it.

If the game keeps crashing, just keep refreshing the page until your save data shows up. As for the game, story line is pretty intriguing and every decision seems to affect the relationships around you too which is awesome.

Just an update from about 2 hours into the future from my last post, i advise EVERYONE who hasnt given this game a chance to give. it. a. chance. The beginning is boring and I feel like it should have been less dialogue filled but the further you get the more you want to play. There were at least two moments so far (I JUST finished chapter 10) where my heart skipped at the cliffhanger and i just stopped and stared at the screen for a few moments. I agree even more that this shouldnt have been badged to attract anyone to give it less than an amazing rating but seriously this is great.

While it does seem to have a decent story and whatnot, I do have to agree with the people asking how an interactive novel got two badges let alone a game of the year spot? I feel like it hurts the game more than it helps by attracting badge hunters to a niche game. Especially since theres a badge for sitting through 17 episodes of this??? "Hard" shouldnt mean "drawn out and tedious" I am NOT insulting the story at all, just the fact it got badged.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
how and why does a interactive novel make it int game of the year list? THis is terrible. can skip through the boring text fast enough.

I loved the game, great play and writing wasn't bad. I do understand this is a love/hate type of game though, everyone complaining shouldn't be playing this game in the first place, as obviously they'd prefer more action-type games or just straight puzzles. I wouldn't even call this a puzzle game, it's straight interactive fiction

Turn one eye into infinite... So far my favorite puzzle of all. I didn't need a hint at all! And Also, how the hell can these people survive with no food?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
HOLY CRAP! You can simply scroll through the talking! Not only can you scroll rather quickly, but you can scroll backwards in case you saw something that might grab your attention! [+] This so others can see!

I really want to enjoy this. Really do. But how can I enjoy it if I completed 9, F*CKING 9 chapters and had to turn it off because the game got so laggy that it was almost impossible to play and NOW IT'S ALL GONE! And OH MY GOD so cool that there is some fancy-schmancy something tool on the F*CKING MAIN SITE. I want my Kongregate achievement. What do I need to do to gain it, play until my laptop gets set on fire? Since it seems stopping = losing all progress? Why does this game even got achievements assigned if it has such saving problems?

In chap 8, Ink has to choose either the Red door or the Green one. I picked the Red - Ink refused to listen. ;D :P Loved it

I appreciate the nice story, but the medium may be wrong. You might be better served writing a book, or even an animated story. As a game, it's too much for my taste, but it is a good story. Consider taking it to another medium where it can be truly great! I will finish the game, as the story is that good, but need to do it in small pieces as the text is straining my eyes
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game has the tag "interactive fiction", meaning it's a story-based game. Don't just skip through the dialog waiting for "gameplay", because you're just skipping the main fun of the game. If you don't like reading, don't play the game. If you only want the badges, just play the game without rating it or leaving a hateful comment. Yes, not everyone likes these types of games, but don't blame the game for your tastes in games.

and the next episode and season and ending cant come soon enough, the real sadit here isnt SENT, is the maker of this game

I'm so sorry, but I'm getting an error: when I drag&drop the items to Hardware core slots, the list displaces to the bottom part of the screen, and it gliches.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Somethings off, first off i have beaten 4 episodes yet the counter on the badges haven't moved. Second is teh fact that 4000 something players have recieved the "Complete chapter 7" badge but 6000 something has been rewarded with the "Complete chapter 17" badge? I think the badges are a bit bugged.

Came for the puzzles. Stayed for the thrilling story. The comments seem split, either people love it or hate it. I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's MY cup of tea and I want to drink more! Chapter 17 left me on a cliffhanger and I'm way too invested in this story. Please finish it.
Glad you liked it! I'm working hard on Arc 2, so please look forward to that.
In the meantime, I'd recommend following the game on social to stay in the know or dropping by the Discord channel to pick up on any secrets you may have missed!

Save games work only every other time, so (double) page refresh often. The memory leaking is so major (gigabytes per chapter) that you are better of refreshing between the chapters anyway.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cool concept, but my saved games won't stick. Made it to chapter 6 before the game crashed, and I had to start all over.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
These dialogues are redundant and repetitive, thus I just pressed Enter after boring five minutes without gameplay (except smashing space...) Abd don't get me wrong - I engage crazy longwinded text rpg, and am willing to read sveral thousand words if they are worth it. This wasn't. And the riddles weren't either. Maybe try Webcomics to tell your story

So in Chapter 8, I decided to wait out the timer to see what happens. After 14:00:00, I got ¯\[-_-]_/¯ Proof: https://i.imgur.com/CiF8vK2.png?1
