Whoa, that sounds like a serious bug! Could you send me a screenshot (dm here or on reddit/twitter)? I may need to ask you a few questions as well.
If anyone else experiences this, first try reloading the page. Otherwise, yes, the main site might be a good call while I get this bug sorted out.

Just waiting until Sent starts singing "It's our party and we can do what we want"... (Hoping someone catches the reference...)

This is really tedious and unfocused. There's an extremely low ratio of game to dialogue, and most of the dialogue is circuitous padding while one dimensional characters play their one dimension over and over -- but I can't just click through blindly because I'm afraid you MIGHT hide something important in all that garbage. The end experience is deeply unsatisfying.

Wow this game is something! There is always something suspicious about the whole story which keeps you just eager to find out what's going on. I have a feeling that this is the type of game where the littlest of story details have a purpose. 5 stars for sure!

I got some weird HTML code showing when Sent tried to make me choose red or green door: https://www.screencast.com/t/njzt53RXgnp

Definitely a fun game and the puzzles can be challenging. It seems there are going to be potentially 8 more chapters, just judging on the space left in the chapter select and Chapter 11 claims it will be available 6/8/2017, as it is now 8/1/17, game was posted to Kong on 7/27 and 7/20 on Newgrounds....What is actually going on? Also if it takes months for the developer to make the next chapter, then it is safe to assume the remain 8 will take years? No way you are going to keep everyone hooked for that long. I too want to know what happens in the end but within a month or 2 I personally will forget all about this game as it gets buried in the mass of new Kong games. Hopefully I am wrong and you meant 8/6/17, which means the chapters take you a couple of weeks tops, and that we can have closure within 3 months.
The next episode will be out this Sunday, the 6th! Sorry, date formats are weirdly inconsistent between countries...
You can check out the full schedule for the first arc here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ExitCorners/comments/6q0hev/exitcorners_version_104_episode_release_schedule/

I am absolutely loving this game. The characters are engaging and intriguing. They manage to feel like real people who are reacting to this kind of situation in a realistic way. I would have liked more options on what Ink says, even if they're statements that don't affect story progression, just to feel more involved in the character's thinking, but I completely understand that it would make coding more difficult. I love the interspersing of puzzles - and the hint system is great. It makes it feel like an actual collaborative effort, and also allows you to get levels of hints. So many games with hint systems give a very general one and then one that gives the puzzle away. I found myself enjoying hearing the opinions of the different characters and then still feeling like I could solve the puzzle on my own. Great job so far and I can't wait to see where the Exit/Corners story goes next. :)

Anyone who enjoys this game should check out the "Zero Escape" series for DS. Its clear the dev took a lot of inspiration from those games, and i know i sure had a great time with them.

There is a typo. Chapter 7 Rae's 3 hint, he says "I'm pretty those are the first two shapes in the sequence" You're missing the word "Sure" Between "Pretty" and "Those"
Good catch! I'll fix that up for the next build. There are undoubtedly some more typos in there that I've overlooked, so if anyone finds anymore, feel free to send 'em my way. (Best place to report them is actually the subreddit.)

I would like to be able to skip the novel parts and go to the riddles immediately. Isn't there usually an option to keep CTRL pressed and it skips to decisions and riddles?
No, sorry, that feature doesn't exist at the moment. Holding Enter to skip through is generally pretty fast but not instant.
I'll look at adding "puzzle blitz" mode in a future build.

I'm not sure, but I think that Wildkatz' comment here is one of the nicest she's ever given. 5 *'s for the thrilling mystery and making our troll just a tad nicer. ;)

Really liked it! I love the system of asking the other contestants for help until it clicks in my brain and I realize what I've been overlooking. I'm not usually a fan of games with lots of dialogue, but this is really well made. I can't wait until it get updated!

Don't be discouraged by the low star rating your game's getting. The Kong crowd isn't the kind to enjoy the intriguing and branching narratives of visual novels. They're more into their mindless idles around here.
3.5 seems fine to me! :)
I posted the game on Newgrounds a bit earlier and while it started in the lower 3s it lurched up to 4 eventually. Not saying it'll be the same case here, but one can hope!
EDIT: We're at 4.3 now so... I dunno, I think we're doing ok!

I despise this way or presenting dialogue. The typing-out-one-character-a-time thing is really annoying. It makes it hard to read. And, yes, I can hit spacebar to get it to stop doing that, but sometimes that seems to skip directly to the next batch of text. Just slap up each segment all at once.
Try jacking up the text speed from the options menu from the title screen and see if that helps. In a future build I'll try and have the max speed be instant like you described.
If you ever skip over a line, you can use scroll wheel or arrow keys to re-read previous messages.
Thanks for playing anyway!

I played till chapter 8 and then when i came back in another playing i lost all data saved. Actually i used the suggestion to unlock all the chapters but the decisions i took are lost, i guess. Is there any problem? However i like the concept and the plot (actually is very addictive). 4/5
Make sure you aren't playing in incognito mode and make sure you don't delete your bowser's cache. Aside from that, data has been reported to have been lost amongst a small amount of users for aN unknown reason. Curently working on a band-aid fix so you can quickly re-make choices without having to replay the whole thing.
Thanks for playing, though, and I hope you'll tune in for new
chapters regardless!

I loved it so far! I hope you'll announce the updates on the sidebar like devs do. I definitely want to play the rest.

Holding the Enter key is also useful if you don't want to take the time to deal with the huge amounts of dialogue and simply wish to play the puzzles. Would be kind of nice to have a "just play the puzzles" button. That all being said, the bits of the story that I've paid attention to make it seem interesting... so maybe I'll play again and actually pay attention to it in more detail when I have more time.

I played up to chapter 9 and it's great so far, keep going!
Some of the later puzzles were quite easy though, please don't make them too simple.
Thanks for playing! There are some tougher puzzles on the horizon (chapter 11 has a rather tricky one), so I hope you'll tune in for new episodes as they're released!
