I'm loving the game so far. I hope we get more than one level a week in the updates. I'm really intrigued by the story. Great job on that.

The other contestants act like they're not in the same room, overhearing what each other are saying. (And this *is* a Z, game-- why aren't you accepting it?)

I really dislike when games make me hit a button show every line of dialogue at a tolerable pace, or else have to wait for it to slowly feed out at a fraction of natural reading speed. And it's probably not the best idea for it to use the same buttons that also advance to the next.
Try upping the text speed in the options menu and see if that helps. If you accidentally skip over a line, you can use the scroll wheel or arrow keys to view the backlog.

Got a popup: "An error occured running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
InvalidStateError: A mutation operation was attempted on a database that did not allow mutations." After dismissing it the game is still running.

hey, very nice game, love it so far ^^
just a few things:
first the difficulty of the puzzles seems to zig zag a bit, the hardest ones for me have been the #26 and the sort by color, but i solved the arrow, the ten and the eye to infinty almost instantly. so maybe you want to switch the games around a bit to make them progressivly harder in the final version.
(but maybe the difficulties are different for different versions)
second the one with the choose a door, it was kind of a bummer that i couldnt choose the red one, but i can understand it from a game development perspective. maybe you could just change the dialog as you cant even see wich door you actually go through.
third i really liked it how you did the dialog before the cypher puzzle, so you could explain it to the people who dont know how cyphers work without doing a tutorial section ^^ i had to work pretty hard to solve that one, but maybe its because english isnt my native language
keep up the good work :)
I've definitely learned in hindsight that some puzzles are more difficult for non-native English speakers, which is definitely my bad. I'm glad you liked it, though!
Oh, and I will say that some of the puzzles are in specific spots for reasons which may or may not be difficulty-related. Maybe someone will figure it out!

Great characters, intriguing story, and logical puzzles that are obvious in hindsight. The choices are limited (especially the door room one, where there is only one option the game accepts), but the chapter select feature makes up for that by letting us compare the effects of each path. I think my favorite feature is the clue system, which is both an effective way of nudging the player and gives them a chance to interact with the other characters outside of the story. I can't wait for the next chapter.

I am happy so many people liked this game. I liked the puzzles but the dialog is so long and pretty standard, most of the time I found myself wishing it was over, or clicking through hoping there is nothing meaningful in there for the puzzles.

+bookworm12890 It could be the not-American way of writing dates: day/month/year, so it would be in two days from now.
That's a server hiccup, I think. Try loading the page again, and if that doesn't work, it should work on the main site for sure. DM me if that doesn't work and I'll try and help you sort through it.

Really liking the game so far, but question- it looks like some people have mentioned chapter 11 but on mine it says that will be released 6/8/17. Which has already passed. Am I missing something?

Really awesome game. Really like the artwork, the interface, the atmosphere you created and the puzzles. Good stuff keep it going!

The long period between clicking play and actually interfacing with the game itself was a pretty strong turn off. I like to think of myself as a fast reader but...that's a lot of narrative to just spell out.

Just blitzed through all 10 current chapters. As a fan of Nonary Games, I'm delighted by seeing another game working under a similar vein. Puzzles shift between being extremely easy or astonishingly tricky but I'm looking forward to chapter 11. Suspecting something in the vein of a computer sim which might neatly explain a lot of puzzling things about certain characters' plotlines and the thing in Chapter 10. The fact that the game said something along the lines of "Ink didn't listen" when I tried to pick the Red Door is suspicious as all get out. Considering the reveal in 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors and the thing with the pen and the trippy line...well suffice to say suspicions abound.

Ink is so perceptive and so clever!! If I were in his shoes, I wouldn't be able to come up with such clever tricks to fool Sent.

I'm enjoying this game. I just caught up to Chapter 10 and I have a crazy Theory about 8. What if their phones are the pillars?

This is such an amazing game! I love the puzzles and the ability to talk to the characters and have them progressively give you more obvious hints so you can still work it out yourself while being pushed in the right direction. I got a friend into this because she loves VLR/ZTD and we're having such a good time talking about it together (even if I'm telling her all the puzzle answers after a while lmao)! We've got a whole alternate universe thing we're doing for our original characters as characters in the game and everything, we love it that much !! Great work!
Thank you so much! It's very exciting to hear that you and your friend are enjoying the game as much as you are. If you're interested in connecting with other fans, I'd recommend visiting the subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/ExitCorners/), where you can talk about new episodes and throw around theories.

I fear I have to add another bug report to the comments section... Whenever I select the chapter 1 (no others available to me because I just wanted to start) or chose to resume that chapter, it briefly displays the intro slide and then totally crashes and shows me the infamous "Aww snap" error in Chromium 59 on Ubuntu 16.04. Sometimes it even crashes other open Kongregate tabs with it. Any idea what to do about that? I'm trying on Firefox now, it seems to start at least there.
Oof, that's rough. Very sorry that's happening. Unfortunately I haven't tested on Ubuntu at all so my only real guess as to what's happening is that the game is a memory hog (which it is). Hopefully it works well enough in Firefox for now - I don't think I'll be able to seriously troubleshoot this for a few weeks because of my schedule. As a heads-up, the build on the main site is always the most up-to-date version and seems to work with more consitency for most users (Kong has some extra memory overhead, I guess?).
In short, the big takeaway here is that I'm awful at coding.

I wonder what happens if you let the timer hit 0:00:00 on Chapter 8... Then again, you would have to wait 14.5 hours of leaving this game on (probably focused on the game as well). Would there be a scene resulting in the death of the contestants? Will the timer just stop at a certain point just to get you to move on with the story? Will another contestant force the text through instead? So many questions, yet something like this would be interesting to follow through with.

Really like the game, but all my save data has been deleted, which is disappointing as I was up to about chapter 8 or 9...
Hi, sorry this happened - it ha been happening to some users. Thankfully, I have (quick and dirty) a fix. I made something called the catch-up tool for the build on the main site. It will let you get caught up with all of your choices in about a minute. Details can be found in the patch notes here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ExitCorners/comments/6r9nbq/exitcorners_version_105_episode_release_schedule/
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Hey there - can you send me DM or bug report with the exact error message? I think I may be able to get it working for you.
Also, try the build on the main site if you haven't already - some users have been saying the game works fine there even when it didn't work here.
Looks like a server hiccup. Try reloading the page, or if that doesn't work, see if the game on the main site works instead. Feel free to file a bug report if this persists.

wait a second... Sent started the timer when the first contestant woke up, but wouldnt tell anyone what was going on until all 5 woke up and placed their hand on the first screen. Im beginning to think this whole thing isnt completely fair!

I honestly lost an afternoon to play this game because I could not stop: so addictive! Absolutely love it! Great job!

Am I the only one asking the other contestants for advice while having an allready solved puzzle on the screen, just looking for some more delicious "hidden" plots? May all the buttons turn grey!
Played the game ('till chapter 10) at the official page at first, because of server problems. Love it! Now working on a "redo" with different answers here on Kon's. It's still a bit slow though.

I wish there was a way to skip most of the text to just before the next time you get to make a choice. right now I am clicking away the text quickly because there is far too much of it and then when I have to make a choice I dont know what I had to make a choice about.
You can hold Enter/Return to skip through text quickly, automatically pausing when it gets to the next choice or puzzle. You're going to miss a lot of stuff if you do, though - this is a story-heavy VN, first and foremost.

This game is unique, in the way that it has captured attention through the characters. They seem to be talking to each other in a realistic way. The way they remember the details from previous rooms and their expressions are spot on. I am loving this, more than excited for the next update. Worth spending my time playing this wonderful game!! :)

######SPOILERS#############
Hey so I have a problem with chapter 5 I think it is, where the clue is: the answer is 10. The tiles I've got can all be used to create a large 0, and since 10 is one zero, creating a single zero I thought would have been an obvious answer. But it wasn't... so..... I think the clue should get changed, or accept that as an answer. Just my 2 cents.
###########END SPOILER#######
But obviously I'm enjoying the game so far.

My God! This is the game I didn't know I had been waiting for all this time!!! The plot is exciting, the characters realistics and I found Sent and adorable psychopath, i'm very very sorry... XD
Congratulations on doing a fantastic job, here you are your 5 stars and favourited, will wait each week for the chapters that are to come :D
Thank you! I think the issue may be caused by a temporary loss of internet connectivity as the game loads or a failure to ping my server. If this happens to you, I would suggest simply reloading the page. If it's happening consistently, please let me know. Hopefully you were able to play on the main site!
