Did Sent replace the sword on the mantle purposely, with the intent of Rae losing an arm, as a sort of revenge for the earlier remark made about disabled people? Or was the fake sword just strong enough to cut through Rae's arm?

So are they all going to turn out to be in a computer simulation? Hence why Rae could survive an improvised amputation and heavy blood loss. And they have to realise that to escape... or they could die.

I would even think @meetad0220 speaks spanish or something similar, where themasculine IS the default as we have no neutral pronouns.
But yes, in english, "they" is the genderless you use in that case.

I wonder if Exit/Corners is actually the game that is testing the players while apparently being about testing the players.
That whole delayed episode was a bit too cute.

@JorgeA114 - You have a point. Liza would say that games are supposed to be fun, Aether believes that games should offer choice, and Rae believes that games should have win-states. Exit/Corners definitely offers little in the way of choice, and the contestants are definitely not having fun. In fact, it's entirely probable that there is no win-state; Sent could very well be lying there. So then, why does Sent insist on calling it a game?

@meetad0220 It's not actually incorrect, it really does serve as a genderless pronoun. Feel free to google "Define they", and you'll see "used to refer to a person of unspecified gender." as the second definition.

In Chapter 4, Beth should refer to Sent in the "he" tense rather than the "they" tense. I know you are trying to use a genderless pronoun, but a plural tense is grammatically incorrect, and when the gender is unknown, the default singular pronoun is "he."

I actually very much enjoyed this can't wait for the rest, normally I get bored of puzzles because they're too easy, they were a bit challenging, plus this is my first visual novel and it's quite interesting.

Oh NOOO! I want to know the rest of the story.... ughh I can't wait for an update, I love this so much! And I hope Rae will be ok...

I feel cheated when I figure out the puzzle as intended without needing a hint, and then the cutscene says that I guessed.

I like the dialogue, it makes me curious about the characters! It's just I read faster than the fastest setting. I'm also slightly lagging when the dialogue appears.

Great game! Like the fact that there is a whole story created around the puzzles, even though there can be a little too much uneccessary dialogue at times. Really looking forward to the new episodes!

Fun fact: if you figure out the alternate solutions on Chapters 2, 7 and 16, and say it's a fake sword on Chapter 12, you'll get a secret message in the last chapter.

Ah, I now understand the fury of the cliffhanger this game leaves off on. Reaching the halfway point of 2018, and still no answer! What a thrilling cliffhanger...

tfw you get really invested in a game but then the developer takes way too long to update it so you no longer have an interest in completing the game

Honestly, it feels like these badges are medium and hard not because of the puzzles but because it's like pulling hair having to click through this cliched and trite dialogue and plot.

Five drama queens locked in a hotel. Carefully withholding information from each other to make their lives more miserable.

I loved the 16th one with the months. I solved it almost at first sight because I use the same reasoning to solve an everyday problem!

i have learned 2 things.... one i already knew was... im bad at puzzles :\ i would be the dead guy in this situation. 2 if your going to do the chapter select thing at the end of a chapter you should just go ahead a put a continue to next chapter button at the bottom... its a minor inconvenience to go to the chapter select each time

"Just picked random high cards" hardly. I did exactly what it said and didn't lose to a royal flush. Impossible for the other guy to draw a royal flush in the first place, when you have a royal in each suit :P
The dialogues in this are /fun/ though, really. I left off a little while ago but this is truly a well-made game. I love a good story.
