The characters talk too much and whine like little kids, fighting uselessly over stupid things and asking stupid questions over and over again to the point I take more time reading through dialogue and lose my immersion than solving puzzles and actually question what's happening. What makes it worse is that they like to stretch it on even longer with pauses every so often...like... this. The puzzles are depressingly easy when its final form intended is figured out.
There are too many unnecessary and specific details thrown in, not to mention the changing nature of the convo between Ink and his friend to show how convoluted the writing is.
There is good art, subtle effects, changing in the text scrolling to match reactions but for an actual puzzle game, it's pretty bad at being a puzzle. It's not challenging nor engaging enough for me to care what happens next. 3/5 for effort

Me, today: Oh, yay, episode 11 is out. *plays through episode 11, reaches ending* O.O Wait, what? *has no other words*

Awesome game! Couple things would make the experience smoother; fast forward for repeating chapters, faster moving tiles in the puzzles would be nice so the player can test answers thriftily, and when asking the other characters for help the fade out and fade in is a bit tedious especially for those who just want to see your sweet dialogue. Cant wait to keep playing!
Thanks! Something tells me the game may be running a bit slowly on your machine - that's my bad, the game's a memory hog and I'm not the best coder. I'll try and make it a bit faster in a build down the road.

I just finished chapter 2, and as of now I have yet to actually make a choice in the interactive parts : everytime, my mouse is just in the right spot to select an answer, and I seem to have a bad reflex that makes me instantly ckick. I know it's really stupid of me, but I would really like a warning or a confirmation system when you are supposed to choose an answer.

But why contestants doesn't ask their contacts to contact each other, so they could coordinate in the real world? What? Because it's all in the Ink's head and is not real? Ah... I see...

I wonder if the choices make a difference other than the red/green door part since there aren't any save files or does it automatically save?

AGGGHHH! I have to wait a week to keep going?? You have a masterpiece here! I have played all the chapters from the start today. I'll be on the edge of my seat waiting for the rest...

I really like the game. There's lots of suspense, the characters are interesting, the puzzles aren't too hard, the hints don't give it away, and the cliffhangers and plot make me want to to keep reading. I would prefer more dialog options and the ability to look around the room myself when there are clues in it similar to many point and clicks on kong, but I understand that's a lot of work, maybe in a sequal?

Thoughtlace is an excellent piece and reminds me so much of Ace Attorney. Also, Aether's pose with her hand when she's thinking is the same as Mia ;)

@NetMonster and @ChaoticBrain : While calling the police is a good option and a good idea, the police likely won't be of much help without any leads... and if they did get close to the "hotel", Sent would just blow the place up.

Who's to say that "Sent" is a person? It could actually be the name of an A.I. or the program behind Exit/Corners itself. It would also explain the strange name, being an acronym. Otherwise, it could just be somebody who was "Sent" to carry out the program.
That's been happening on Kong with some frequency - check out the "Catch-up tool" on the main site to get your progress back quickly. Details here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ExitCorners/comments/6r9nbq/exitcorners_version_105_episode_release_schedule/

I tried waiting out the timer for 3 hours or so, but I wasn't really paying attention for most of it. But when I came back, the timer STILL said 14 hours and something something minutes and seconds, which leads me to believe the 14 is a static value.

Fantastic game! I normally don't post a comment but this one leaves me wanting for more. I can't wait for the next update. Good job!

Best. Game. Ever.
I love the puzzles and the fact that the contestants can be called on for information if your stuck. I also love that there is so much info on the contestants. Keep making chapters!!!

Whooooa, this whole game is just awesome, the characters' design especially. I like Aether very much. and as you play, the Sent seems not so evil. Really looking forward for more of it.

I panicked and thought that this game wasn't updating anymore since it said 6/8/2017, but then i realized that the day comes first in some countries. I'm an idiot and how i completed all the chapters i don't know

I love this game, and I'm so excited for the next chapters. And the cipher key... If it's a substitution- there should be a key! One key! Whatever number you put in for it, P and J should end up changing in an identical fashion. But... they don't. And Aether is the only one that tells you what really to think. She gives you a constant in this hellhole. Ink trusts her. But the ink is wrong. Something is wrong.

Available 6/8/2017 ... Do they Mean August Sixth? Or has the game gone out of production? I'm really enjoying this thing.

The 10 challenge is very hard for non english speakers.
i don't like this Sent guy.
i'm waiting for The next chapter.
i like Exit games with clues in it.
;)

Wait... I got to play this game for free? I'm only through chapter 1 and it already feels like a well made indie game I'd find on Steam for a few bucks (though I guess it'd still be tough to beat "Zero Escape"). Still, fun game. 5/5

Liking the game so far. One problem though. I'm a keyboard guy, and I tend to press Enter instead of clicking, in order to advance the story. However, pressing Enter seems to zoom through the dialogues, while clicking works fine. I'm guessing it's a keypress vs keyup Unity thing.

It's weird that Rae says that his instructions to computers are only followed to the byte. Unless they're followed to the *bit*, every boolean variable would be useless.

jers89, there may not be a pattern, you do not have enough letters to solve the entire alphabet. Just go with the most common (english) letter, and solve from a very common 3-letter word that ends with that letter. After that, a little guesswork filled in the rest.

I have a theory what Liza is hiding. MINOR SPOILER ALERT! She texts slowly because she can't pick out the right letters. She didn't notice everyone's legs were wet after the elevator. She didn't notice we were messing with valves until Ink banged his elbow on the pipes loudly, and she insisted her hearing was flawless with a confidence most people don't have. What if she just can't see very well? The blind and partly blind often have exceptional hearing. That might be an additional reason for her bodyguards- her father can afford it, so of course he would take extra precautions for her safety. This would make all her image talk kind of ironic, but otherwise, it makes sense.

I like the idea, alot, but much of the dialogues were unnecessary for the story and characterbuilding and could have been shortened.

@jers89 *SPOILER ALERT* Hint: Beth's first hint is that the answer is related to the situation somehow. If you want the solution, the dev already posted it as a reply to one of the commenters.

I just can't figure out the decipher ting in chapter 10, don't see any pattern at all. If it's suppose to be like a Caesar replacement code, with J=S and P=E, that doesn't make much sense to me, since there is 9 between J and S, and 15 between P and E. All hints exhausted, still didn't get it. Any help?

My biggest dissapointment is knowing that I can't know what will lie ahead! I think the most interesting about this game is the social interaction among partners, even at puzzles they don't give hints straight - allowing you to learn more about the characters and making them feel real. There are also many side stories about them - some of which feel impossible.I look forward to know how you're going to answer all these questions.Let's see how long untill we are sent through the exit. (And yeha,it was a pun).

"Programming is all about logic, structure, and general problem solving; this seems more like a riddle than anything. Something meant to trick people."
Tell that to my interviewers...
