A lot of false choice, poorly written characters, and a story that's meant to FEEL deep and mysterious without having anything to justify it.

hey should i use literally anything else that doesn't constantly crash websites and freeze to develop this game? nope? unity it is then.

you know whats funny is people who complain about this being a visual novel when it says interactive fiction which should've been a dead give away that it's some type of visual novel if you don't like it don't play it don't hate on it bcs you don't understand what interactive fiction is

Click, click, click to...
Scroll, scroll and scroll the text.
End they call it "the game", the new world order.
In the future we are going to play with texts and words like proffesors and scientists, congratulation to the future. You won't regret it.
Navigating in 3D will be forgotten because it makes ill your brain, you better read and play choosing the right text option, ohhh, how hard is it, my god. What a wonderful book!

yeah! I would better go to library and buy an intersting book of science instead of playing this big trash of game. You know what game is called?
Maybe you should write books.

So after a couple of hours of paging through story for 10-15 minutes of gameplay, the story isn't even over? Wow, this is poorly done.

I'm normally not a big fan of visual novels, but I played this one for the badge and dear lord, I am hooked. I finished chapter 17 yesterday and am now going through withdrawls.

i love this game so much that i have played through it 3 times and ive noticed so many hints toward whats happening later on, like the puzzle with john doe at the start of the red door. i cant wait for the next part to come out

If your game was deleted due to the new Kongregate HTTPS changeover, you can hold 'Enter' on your keyboard to zip through all of the dialogue at a very fast rate to get back to where you were!

OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS GAME. ALSO WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BADGE IT BEFORE IT WAS FINISHED??? WAITING FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER IS TORTURE!

Wow, that took a long time to finish! Some good puzzles, some a bit reaching... I really did like the story, but not a fan of the click-to-continue style – it feels too much as a poor substitute for video cutscenes – in turn making me feel like theres too little actual "game" in this game. And when choosing doors, it was the only choice I felt didn't have an obvious "right" option, but when I chose the red door, Ink "didn't listen" – leaving me with little or no actual feeling of freedom of choice. There's is no point having an ineffective choice in an already click-to-continue story...
Still looking forward to the continuation :)

OMG- will I be getting a Hard badge out of this just for my patience clicking through the never ending blab scenes? WTF?

"You've got 24 hours to solve all the puzzles and escape..."
So of course, they spend half an hour yapping before looking at the bloody puzzle...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Aw man! It ended on a cliffhanger, I hate it when that happens. But in all seriousness, this is a excellent game and i hope you can release the chapters here soon! Keep up the good work!

Fun game, but Unity LAGS on my computer and I need to restart the game every few chapters in order to reduce the lag. Is there any way to skip to the puzzle at the end?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm always a little disappointed when I manage to get a puzzle in one try and then Ink goes on about how he "guessed" the answer. It's really unsatisfying for him to act so dumb...

Great puzzles, but the characters apparent lack of urgency considering their situation makes the story frustrating for me.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Annoying sounds, not much game for that much of a story (the story is great though), easy riddles (most of them). Anyways, I like to play more and read less. Good work overall.

Acoording to the creator, the next chapters (18, 19, etc) will release in 2018. So, there's basically a hiatus currently.

I'm getting a message "Out of memory. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating more memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings." ._. Cant play even first chapter, 'cause it stops working.

I'm curious how much of the dialogue is dependent on the player's performance in the puzzle. I just finished Chapter 12 and my character admits to having guessed and gotten lucky. I didn't talk to anyone and I got it right on the first try, but I totally knew how; if I had tried multiple solutions, or asked people for input, how different could the next scene be?
I think it's a testament to the thought put into this game that I genuinely believe that it's responding to my play, even if it underestimated me this one round. I'm very impressed!

I love the basic concept and the puzzles and I would love to read the story, but this way it felt like a hardly readable yet very interesting book with occasional puzzles. Write a book and make a separate puzzle game :) But seriously, you should publish the story on its own also. I know it is similar to several books and games, but it is still interesting!

This is honestly one of the best games I have played. Games that make me think are my favorite. I love the story to bits, and the next part can't come soon enough. I really hope you release a desktop version because I would definitely get that.

This game desperately needs an option to skip to the dialogue. I like the like the puzzles, but I don't want to read a novel.

great game, one issue, i have an apple mouse and when I scroll about a millimeter, it goes back like 15 or 20 dialogue boxes. Other than that, I had a blast
