As others have stated, the tower upgrades need work. Good and well-polished otherwise. The thing I don't like about story line TDs is they end. I would much rather have unique and branching upgrades with an endless mode than a story (that I skipped through anyhow).

Absolutely terrible. This is the most formulaic bare-bones TD I can remember playing, and the gameplay is still off, not to mention the crappy in-game art and slow speed. I'm being generous with a 2/5 thanks to the music and additional art.

I appreciate the homage to Starcraft: it stops short of repeating Starcraft game elements while retaining some of the look and feel of SC. The somewhat rudimentary upgrade tree is offset to some extent by the crystal powerups. It's a nice touch, providing a way to include SC-style drones in the game without making building dependent on them. Separate volume controls for music and sfx is a definite plus. It's amazing how often volume controls are missing from these games entirely, or only have a mute button. Overall I rated this 4/5.
The one thing this game is missing is graphics quality selection. It's not like lower resolution graphics are going to make or break the gameplay in a tower defense game.

5/5 stars, that's obvious !
but the game is so unbalanced ; and what with all the money we'r stuck with halfway any sector chapter ? sooo frustrating.

Playing this, I kept waiting to hear "We require more vespene gas." It's not bad, but all the upgrades are the same. Needs more variety and such, as well as the ability to limit some graphical effects.

why would you want a user to download the game every time he/she wants to play it?
nevermind the waste of bandwidth, server loads, energy consume and so forth, but what about wait-time?

Boring towers, bland upgrades. The attackrate, projectilespeed and the AI of the towers are horrible. The game does nothing better or even different than the about 4759 Billion TDs on this site alone. It's just no fun at all.

Add more variety to turret upgrades, add more turret upgrades, and make waves a little harder - this would induce more strategy (success from choosing correct upgrades, fail by not) Obviously gameplay / mechanics borrowed from other games. Graphics are actually quite good. Lots of bad lag, maybe needs some code clean up. With a bit of fixing could be a very good TD game.

Good enough, but I´d appreciate it, if monster splatters disappeared after a while. I suspect that it causes my netbook to seriously slow down after a time.

Notable concerns: Lack of "AI Control"; default ai is dumb, you should let us have the option of picking what they target. Weapon selection is underwhelming. Upgrade variety is underwhelming. Lack of quality control option is a serious concern. It looks nice, but other than that it's a less fun version of every other tower defense game

This TD has some decent graphics, but there is no originality to be had from the types of towers and enemies available. Then again, when the enemies and resources are clearly intended to mimic starcraft, why would we be expecting originality?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Feels too much like a blocky starcraft TD clone. It just seems like it could use some more originality. The upgrade system is in bad need of work. Not a bad attempt at decent graphics and the mechanics arent perfect but not as bad as some new games. Has promise as a sequel or version 2 but as is not too much gameplay for me.

Lovely graphics, but very linear and derivative game play. Towers are difficult to differentiate, upgrades are all the same and insignificant. This has been done dozens of times before, and much better.

Fast forward does not work and when i advance a wave i should get crystals in advance too , not only money. Still a good game. 4/5

Funny how all the kiss ass "this game is great" comments get "+" while anything negative gets "-." Way to go Kong. Make the ratings impartial.

the tower have a bad AI . for exemple a rocket turret will launch missile on the frontal ennemy and just kill 2 when it can kill all the beast if he shoot in the middle.
aside from this , the game is funny. upgrades seems good
PS: was the game made by an entomophobe ? (fear of insects)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok, this has to be the worst TD game ever. I get you're trying to duplicate the hopeless death of being overrun by hordes of insect enemies but it's not fun. I want to play fun games. This game is depressing. Even on level one I'm getting overrun by bugs. At least give us some hope and maybe we'll play to level 2.

Freaky bug on first launch: You are about to override a previously saved game. Override game? Yes <- gives save slots that wont allow me to start any new games... Bad bug if first launch need flushing chrome or some other bug fix... Not playing for those reasons and 1 star.

Quality controls would be a huge help to the lag issue - the options to negate particle affects, blood and guts, explosions and fires. After that, a little something extra for maxing out a turret would be nice - something like: heat rocket launchers burn / frost rocket launchers slow / heat lasers lower non-elemental armor / frost lasers stun.

looks okey but the big bugs (asuming they are bugs XD) are realy imba exept to loads of machine guns (wich are bad vs anything but the big bugs, making it realy easy : you beat the big guys or the smal guys, how about a alround good tower? in terms of thise game: a missle tower that deals *non elemeltal* dmg?

Nice graphics, good gameplay ... but if there would be experience and leveling instead of starts and much more upgrades, starting minerals/cash/cheaper upgrades/ ......
There's loads of good TD games to get inspiration from.
Must give it 3*. It's a good game for sure but really didn't bring 1 single "news" to TD game genre.

Upgrades are not very... innovative. Tower upgrades are also just linear. Else that is a solid gaming experience. I love especially the atmosphere. 4/5

A very basic TD mechanically. All weapon upgrades follow the same formula. Some towers are just exact copies with a different element. A little more variety would have been nice, for example a unique special effect for each weapon at the end of the upgrade chain, which would add some flavour and disticntion.
