Fun game, but the lag make it barely playable and it is no longer available for android. Play store doesn't have it and downloading it from other sources causes an error on my phone. Very unfortunate. Still available on steam but I don't use steam.
Rogue fable 3 is probably the most similar (and I'd would say better on average), but its unique and fun enough to make me want to be able to play both.

I enjoyed this game back when it worked. Now I find that Kong has deleted my saves. Good thing I got the badges when it worked. This laggy it's not worth playing.

I want to like this game, I love the music... but it's so laggy. Anyone know how to fix this? Every step, everything lags.

122140, the impossible badge is much easier than i think, just complete act 3 it using ranger and be sure you are not slow as a snail(or waste too much coin), the hardest part is act 3 boss, you need save some health potion and sleep item to make boss sleep at the last moment, dog is useful

Tenure Revoked (rank 47 achievement) clear 3-4 using wizard on suicide difficulty... I don't understand why its a rank 47 achievement, it should be a rank 15-25, maybe clearing all enemy by go slowly to not miss all xp is not the intend way to play the game? (and also rank 45 ranger 1-1 to 1-3 all clear, its not even true all clear(which meaning kill the scavengers, its also give xp(but its not worth for it when you are weak))), How are you support to beat game without high level and good equipment? btw also check hard training quest,using fighter to clear an act without talent point spend on hard difficulty or higher. its rank 43 quest, so maybe the intend way to play is just loot and kill some must kill monster and then just go to next map. if anyone understand why please pm me! and last thing: wizard act 3 run ultra slowly, should i use ranger for it?(quick arrow reload) or what should i use? sry for spam, this is long

when i first time play this game, i don't even know what does rogue like mean, and thinking this is some dungeon rpg with a good achievement system, and after i have played many rogue like game in kongregate(just for the badge), all of them don't have a cool achievement system like this, and this is still my favorite rogue like game, btw im trying the impossible badge, by killing all enemy while speedrun[actually its not too fast, its just a sub50], taking risk to getting faster, i get 112k/120k in act 2, maybe i should try act 3 for the badge!

To get the hard badge, you need to beat all three acts with all six classes on hard difficulty, in addition to other challenges. That's a massive time investment, and you just shouldn't go for the hard badge if you don't think you'll manage it. I'm dropping out now.

Funny story, I used mage on act 2 and get enslaved talent, and when I got to the final boss I wondered if you can enslave the boss, so... I used it when the boss is at its half of health and it worked! XD EZ boss battle

Here's a fun thing to do while playing the game. While playing as the Mage try to get enslave and find a lot of mana potions (looks like a purple health potion). Then enslave an enemy. while you can only have one the enemy enslaved at a time the mana potion can make it usable again, Just make sure that it does not say "fail" or "resisted" when using it on an enemy or else your going to have to use more mana potions. If done correctly you should have a huge army of enemies fighting by your side... if you can keep them alive that is.

I love the Game because of all the fortune happenings (like zenth told).
So be careful while you're wearing 'windrunners'-boots or using the alchemist-pistols: lava and holes becomes very dangerous!

Trying to kill Xiatol as a Fighter without something like invincibility potion is about as hard as sawing your own penis off with a rusty hacksaw

Since this awesome game has been abandoned, I'm wondering if there was some way I could buy the rights to the game off of randomnine's hands and continue on the legacy of this game. This game still has SO much potential, it's controls are already amazing and it's insanely easy for people to pick up and play.
I played this game a lot in the 2015-2017 era (around 1k hours lol), and I just recently got back into it. My best run was a floor 200 thief, so I'm quite experienced with the viable builds and I also have an idea of what things need to be changed, and how to change them.

Quick info about the impossible achievement, I sent a missing badge report after scoring 120k on endless mode saying that they should probably reword the achievement if it is not meant to be earned through endless but they actually awarded me the badge, so it seems they consider it a bug, even though it feels like this makes the achievement a lot easier.

Some great guides out there. The one that consistently got me close(st) was Ranger with Runner and Faithful friend. The dog ends up being quite powerful later on. I would also recommend any skills that would prolong your dog's life (aka turns), such as "slow" (which would give baddies fewer turns as well, it seems?) or "sleep" (even better). Having both is fantastic. If you also have teleport/fireball, you should be set; the rest is RNG. Don't bother w/ fear, imo; too unreliable for this purpose. Definitely treat it as a time-run. 5min per area, tops, and even less for later areas. After basement, the next 3 levels are tough. Final room and boss are very easy, so all you need to do is just make it there.

So, I lost all my progress on this game, and I have no idea what to do to get it back. I was in the middle of a tower run (doing really well with the Rogue I might add) and I wanted to take a break, so I saved my game, and closed the tab. Now, I don't have any of my progress, and am the big sad. What do?

love this game, I know it's long dead and there will never be any updates, but I really wish I could save using a file on my pc rather than cookies, as I lost all my progress to clearing my cache. oh well, I guess eventually I'll buy this on steam.

Auto Charge: Why do you attack neutral (Scavenger) and friendly (Ranger's dog) characters as well? This makes no sense.
