If you decide to make a Cardinal Quest 3, I would love to be able to carry over characters from one act to the next. After beating Act I, your Level 8 hero can then be used in Act II. The enemies are all stronger and trickier, and you have a brand new tier of skills to learn.

@MostlyJewish you can push your way past scavengers bottlenecking a path, just go up to them, exit the shop the push into them again and they'll move out of the way

If you happen to find a scavenger in a house or small location with a 1x space exit, you can get stuck. I had to end a game that way. Perhaps a shift-WASD pushes something, or scavs stay away from tight spots.

I keep using items accidently while navigating with the mouse. Probably because they are visually located inside the map. This is really annoying. Solution might be a confirmation (maybe toggleable in the option with hint on the confirmation dialog; but default should be confirmation because otherwise players wouldn't know).

Rather than showing us the difference between the outcome stats of two items, show us the base stats for each. + if you agree

I have only few games on Favorite , this game COULD be one of those but... i give it a 3/5.
The gameplay and replay value are awesome but.. 80% of starting equips and perks packs are lame. Battle is random , i can fight two ogres at same map and while i kill one easily the other one kill me in 2 hits.
Sure i can improve the odds of winning , but it's still random , i get no control over it , my only option when close to a strong enemy is run , or risk losing all progress.
Plus , more classes would be great.

It's not 'really' a rouge-like, sure, it has randomly generated terrain, but it's not randomly generated fully, there is some preset stuff... Great game though! Really like the stealth mechanics!

The fist act took me probably 15 tries to beat, but the second act was much easier - i beat it on the first try. In addition to the need for a bit more attention to the 2nd and 3rd acts, I'll echo what a few others said - i wish there was a bit more variety in build.

Fantastic game, could punch a bench of guys to death, kill a dragon with my hands, and kill the death itself with my dagger and as a Reward, there is a fantastic dog spinning at the loading scene. 5/5

BORINGGGG...... decent concept, but make the game longer (a) allow for a more in depth inventory, better weapons, etc... (b) make the game longer.. (c) provide more weapons...

Simply glorious. Tightest roguelike mechanics of any game of the genre on this site. Also probably the best rogue gameplay of the genre as well.

This and Red Rogue are probably the best roguelikes on Kongregate. Gameplay is pretty fun and definitely challenging. The morale system helps with replayability (and the frustration of getting cornered and brutally murdered :P). I'd love to see your take on a traditional turn-based RPG next!

I think ranger and wizard should have a ranged attack that is not a skill. I find running around waiting for fireball to recharge stupid. Its too easy to get killed in lv 1

Fantastic game but there are a couple bugs/glitches. 1st is sometimes when you enter a dungeon it makes it to where every time you preform a turn the game forces you to make a turn. Im not sure if that's really a glitch or if it's part of some powerful ability by an unseen enemy but if it is a glitch and you didn't know about it yet, now you do :). the 2nd is completely game breaking however. It seemed to occur by merely refreshing while the game was paused. Whenever I get back on and click anywhere in the game(even when hitting resume) the pause screen comes on and doesn't go away, making play impossible.

This is the only rogue-like I actually like. Too bad inventory and skills are so limited, and you can't keep several weapons etc.

This is... really good. I expect to play a roguelike on Kong for like five minutes and go 'well that was cute'. This is super solid.

Thats pretty weird game, 99% items i found are weaker from those which you start with... i dont get a pont. Is there some hidden purpose of those? To gear up into hobo? To lover your items quality more and more with each level? Then i must admit - this is epic idea to make game difficult this way. Blizzard must rework Diablo-3 this way.

Fantastic game! My only complaint is that many of the perks and equipment packages seem really bad and carry unnecessary penalties, leading to there being a few obvious "best" choices and not much variety in builds. I appreciate that this means the cash shop options are not overpowered, but as others have commented it does cut down on the replay value of the game. Good job in any event, though!

Having -2 when in bushes seems a bit harsh for characters who don't stealth. Consider being attacked by a monster that is outside of the bushes and you're in them, why should I get penalty just for passing through?

It'd be cool if there was a button to automatically rest until your last skill's upkeep is over, possibly waking you up if you see a monster. Beats having to click it 30+ times after every fight

@Qualdurathsenai Pugilist's Chi Mastery gives +100% bonus to drop rate (double chance of whatever percentage health orbs actually drop), not 100% drop rate of health orbs; and I'm loving this game so far, it so needs Kong badges ^^
