I hate games that are entirely RNG. There is no skill whatsoever just pure luck. Its confirmed. Ive just watched a couple of video walkthroughs. People doesnt miss with ranger in the first level like I do all the time, i end up with less than 50% hits. Identical starting specialties/gear. This game is ****ing atrocious for someone with "shitty" luck.

I'm generally not a fan of Roguelikes, but I keep playing this anyway because there's so much depth and variety in the gameplay. Kong needs more games like this instead of shady idle games and pay-to-win MMOs.

Act 1 - The Keep, 2nd floor: My dog died. When I proceeded to Asterion's Lair, he hadn't respawned! I fought one of the Lieutenants alone, and joked that Dog was in a treasure chest near the start of the level. He was.

Scroll of summon elemental is so subjective, alot of the time your either strong enough to deal with enemies, the enmies would be so strong that your elemental dies before it does aything, but it just save me from dying 30 seconds into a round when i was rushing as a wizard and nearly got destroyed

So my first run in the tower with a wizard i accidentally attacked the Scavenger and it spawned elementals which one hitted me... I hate Scavengers now

So I have an idea, basically you know how theres pretty much only one T5 potion you can make with alchemist right? How about adding some more, like my own custom idea! But its just a suggestion ,anyways. How about like. this idea here, an armageddon potion. basically like a powder bomb you throw it. And it will affect the entire map including scavengers but not you. and will kill everything instantly, perchance a good idea? However It may be a cheap way to beat bosses, so maybe just do a lot of damage that'd probably kill all lesser enemies and such.

This game needs a bestiary that would be completed only by using the spyglass on enemies. And would be great that the advantages got by that were permanent.

Warning: if you kill scavenger twice, next ones you encounter in the same act will be hostile automatically. Be prepared.

@mewtwo7777 that would be way too easy. its one of the not-so-many impossible badges on this site. making tower scores count would make it medium badge difficulty.

what the... Now I know this: you don't get a penny back when thief steal an equipment and automatically sell yours. Technically, it's not a selling, it's a ditching. WHY? Thief has no money boost gear then. What have I done till now.

You know what would be really cool? A bestiary made from the data obtained with the spyglass AND that the advantages you get when you "spy" an enemy were permanent (that is, for all future runs).

For anyone wondering about tower runs: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/2835-cardinal-quest-2/topics/473778-post-your-highest-score-for-tower-run-here?page=1#posts-9371001-row
It's kinda similar strategy to impossible badge on suicide act-3 [see my previous comment, sort by rating], except for important details. Once you learn how to abuse mage's dmg/cooldown, everything becomes simplier.

It's rare to find a rougelike where ALL the classes are fun. Sure, I have favorites (Pugalist and Paladin) but then I think "eh, I'll try a thief game" and remember how much I enjoy them (or the others) too.

This is an overall fun to pass the time. I also play this on my iPod. Don't know why the thief and wizard classes aren't available as starting classes, ('cause I know some people would prefer those classes to start with) but, oh well. Whatever the reasons, is not a big deal. Still a fun game. Nicely done.
