10/10. Beautifully crafted gameplay.
However, a longer story would make it a tad better. The vagueness so far is good, and please keep it that way. But more quotes before the areas, and more campaign would make the environment and world much more immersive.
Please take this into consideration.
Keep up the good work!
:)

Gvarlden: The special effect of vital strike depends on the weapon rather than any special effects it has. Blunt weapons cause sleep or daze, sharp weapons cause bleeding and fists make you change places with the target.

correction of my last comment: 1 the strke can also put an enemy to sleep (with a staff or mace/Hammer) and it ca apply the weapons effect. the problem is that it isn't guaranteed. with the pierremont's volly you still have 20% of polymorphing someone

here i am playing with a mage and pierremont's folly (1-4 dmg +3 int 20% polystrike) equiped. I have one skill lot left. When i pick a vital strike up to fill the last slot, i expect the vital strike to polymorph it. instead it just dazes the enemy, what makes me go like: -_-'. a whole story full with typos, but my point is shouldn't the vital strike daze the enemy (if you have a staff or a mace/hammer) AND apply the weapons special effect?

If possible in later patches or games, could you think of a multiplayer feature? I know its hard. but you guys are amazing with your programming, I think you could. I'm not forcing you to, but I just think it'd be cool if you and your friend were playing Cardinal Quest 2, struggling to stay alive on Suicide difficulty in the endless tower. I mean, of course I'm not forcing you to, just suggesting. But please? It sounds pretty cool.

this game SUCKS because if you die and you dont have that thing that lets you respawn you lose everything i give this game 1\5

has anynencountered this bug: you press a button and the game registers it as if you are holding it. for example,if you press the -> button to move one space, it will sometimes make your character keep moving in -> direction, or sometimes when you press enter or space it will "wait" every turn.

can the items chakram and scroll of summoning get buff on the higher tower floors? because the 1-4 dmg isn't that much later on and you Always summon a normal elemental.

Finally, a game that lives up to the term "roguelike". Absolutely brilliant, Randomnine! This brought me right back to the old 80's DOS games I could play for hours on end.

Cast Haste, drink two potions of Speed, drink a Metabolism Potion, have 52 Speed. Kill Xiatol before she gets to move.

I attacked the shopkeeper to see what would happen. He will kill you. Awesome. I really dislike the "immortal" NPC rule in some games.

I just killed myself with ice blast because when I selected it it centered on me.
Would appreciate if it would aim a bit off when there are no enemies just to save idiots like me.

You should let the scavengers buy stuff from you, or perhaps a "TRADE" where you'll get a discount based on what the skill/consumable is worth. So many times I've missed buying something with only 5-10 gold...

Brutal dagger was sooooo fun on theif. Stealth up and charge then stealth away and repeat lol. Greatest rare I have found so far

i was looking through my history of games i have played and I noticed that one of my characters said alive as the cause of death then I noticed how OP that character looked, It was a thief with combine as a skill so it had some pretty good items like the stop time one and invincibility potion so then i thought "what if this character was killed because the game thought I was cheating" and now I have realized that there is no purpose to this story and i am still typing it for no good reason.
Good Bye

If you're an archer, and you get the legendary "Restless Blade", it's very hard to not stab your dog in the face. This really takes me out of character.... Or maybe it gives me a new one.

If the score is essential for the impossible badge, why isn't it shown during the run?
It can be calculated at any point of the game, taking into account current time, gold and amount of kills.
So why isn't it displayed? Is the player supposed to count kills by himself to make sure he gets enough score at the end?
Or is this some sort of a lottery, where you spend hours trying to beat the game on suicide with best score possible and never get to know the result before you finish it?
Please, add score counter for ongoing game. No way it will make the game easier, but it will make the gaming experience better.

how i died is garbage, in order to target a scavenger you need to get rid of there passive invis, even with the spyglas see invis buff, and when i tried touching him, he dealt 1/4 of my health and then it that same turn his two elementals hit me with 75% resist

After my last comment, I have still been putting time on this game. Trying out all the characters and combinations. But I now have my very first gripe. Trying to beat the last boss with any of the melee characters feels a tidbit unfair. The permanent Mind Blast makes it nearly impossible to make any movement/melee/collect health orb. I try to rush kill the eyes, but they just respawn. There should be a limit on the spawn count, and a cool down after killed before they can respawn.

As a fan of roguelike games such as Binding of Isaac, Nuclear Throne, risk of rain, Dungeon of the Endless, Rogue Legacy and many more. These are just my favorites. I thoroughly enjoy this game. I see huge potential, set up a few more classes and make more unlocks. Maybe unlockable items, skills, classes, even new areas. Just by doing certain things or completing certain goals. I find when roguelike games have a deep unlock system, they thrive and succeed. If you could do a few of these ideas, and try to get it greenlight on steam. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Can you keep the items not inside the playing area? I often clicked on some items when I needed to attack the enemies on the bottom edge. :( Just make an items bar.

Now Close quarter ranger is redeemed. I guarantee. this is quite good on acts. Devotee paladin got better too. Gunslinger alchemist... way better. the idea of attack-crit works. But still Now hiring perk seems useless. how about hired one gets double health and +5 speed? or thick armor. anyway I appreciate your steady service, Random9.

its been in the game for ages, but i hate it, 1-4 damage but gets blocked constantly, requires alot of micromanaging (have to press 6 to 0 constantly, have to pick it up) and takes an inventory slot) and got nerfed further when legendaries got stack size reduced
