It'd be nice if, once you kill all enemies and loot all treasure, instead of displaying a message, you automatically go to the next area. Also, at the "rogue is weak because you get detected if someone moves into you thing": Press space to skip a turn until there's an even number of squares between you. Sneak attack to your heart's content.

AMAZING! Why didn't Kongregate feature this game when it came out? Or add badges? ...oh right... because KONG was bought by gameSTOP last year. *hangs head*

One of the big problem with thief, is that if he tries to move into a spot on the same turn that an enemy tries to move into that same spot, the thief moves first, then the enemy detects him. It makes it very difficult to get a sneak attack off without really high speed. The enemy should move first, and the thief should get a sneak attack on it. Thief is so weak right now b/c of this mechanic.

I keep accidentally spending my morale on resurrection. There should be a confirm box because 5000 morale is a lot to lose on nothing. :(

I love the stealth system in this game... So good, although, I do have one complaint, houses, they have windows... Windows are something you see though... you cannot see though them in this game... Fix please?

I wish there were more acts, after completing the 3 acts, not to mention some tactics i.e hit and blink tactics with the thief is just too brutal

Ok, the "virtual key stuck" bug just happened going in the 'right' direction('d' key), so apparently it can happen in any direction.

I have run into a very annoying bug. Sometimes when I press 'down'(the 's' key) once, the game acts as if I were holding down the key and several turns pass before I realize what is happening. This has killed me on more than one occasion. I haven't noticed this happening with any other directions.

The last boss it too easy; it lacks a range attack and doesn't move. A mage or ranger can stand near it and recharge their range attacks until it is dead

It's nice how the game gives you six molds and then pretty much lets you do what you want with them. Yes, the Wizard is best suited as a nuker, but stack a few buffs and some gear on the guy and he can melee with the best of them. My two main complaints are that the melee classes (except the Pugilist) are rather underpowered in comparison with the distance attackers. The second complaint is about the Sleep spell. How can enemies still block while asleep? This is particular could be made better.

The Best Game Ever )) But i guess ranger class is too strong. Ranged attack with 4 turn cooldown + very very evil dog. Even on suicide its something like "Who's here? Hmm dont matter take an arrow or maybe two. Still alive? Ok. Unleash the dog!" If u cant beat the game try next:
1) take ranger
2) maximize ranged attack and take poisonous arrow
3) maximize dog attack
4) NEVER go in melee shoot and run only
5) ...
6) Profit

This is easily one of the tightest oldschool roguelikes online. One key feature I'd love to see: a "rest until skill restored" hotkey

Everyone going around saying that pugilists are too strong, but my ranger can sling fireballs, turn invisible and kill bosses without losing hp at all, I think it's just the way you play them

Acctually, you just need a 6500 Morale class you like to use in every game.Ranger-All you need at him is to get him a bit of HP,2 points spent on them and the bow DMG.Get HP point spent once, then the Bow DMG,then HP again.Get the Poisonus Arrow,or if you like it Silent, get 1 point spent on HP,1 on Bow DMG,1-2 on stealth and on Poisonus Arrow.Paladin-Get the Consecrate upgrade first, then HP,Faith and ATK thing.I do not really see the point of Judgement :P but later buy Holy Light upgrade. There is another tactique,i have not tryed yet.Get HP once,Faith once,Attack once, but when u find a cool weapon like an Axe or something, use the Consecrate thing.Pugilist-Just tank its HP and once ATK,that is how i do it xd

I may have found a bug - as a wizard I think I've broke the game by not getting the second key to drop. I don't remember seeing the second key holder but I used charm monster a lot and may have had the boss charmed and killed by another baddie... still an awesome game though.

LAST but not least: One mechanic that could remedy most of the classes' deficiency in defense would be natural hp regeneration up to a certain percentage when not spotted, but others could argue this would make it too easy - I still think this would be a good mechanic to add, however. Yeah, I realise three comments in a row is a massive wall of text, but this is a game with tons of potential.

CRITIQUE PART 2: Fighters are a generally suicidal class - they do great at close range, but only because of their attack/damage and not their defense/hp. Thieves are too frail to be sustainable in close-combat, even though they can only do close-combat; it's understandable that they should be using stealth to kill enemies, but the cooldown on shadow walk puts them in fleeing mode too often. I've yet to try out the paladin to say anything about them. Now, pugilists are by far, and most clearly the best class, not because they are overpowered, but because they are balanced. Their ability to stun AND powerup through sweep makes their offense feasible in sustained combat, and defense reliable (mainly due to stunning). The ability to "level-up" punches makes the randomisation of better weapons obsolete. And the Reflexes ability is far better than the fighter's Hardiness boost, because it is actually a quite reliable defensive mechanism.

CRITIQUE PART 1: The game has a kind of difficulty I rarely see in most RPGs - this is both good and bad, but more good than bad. The good side is that this type of game makes you think about your approach, both for combat and setups/leveling. The bad part is that it's a bit difficult - not because it makes you think - but because most of the classes tend to be a bit helpless in combat, so a good amount of fleeing and health potions at the ready (if you're lucky to get more than one) are quite necessary, even on the Normal difficulty. To explicate this point, the game seems to encourage melee combat too much to the point where wizards/rangers, due to their long-timed cooldowns on ranged abilities (which is arguably the only effective way for them to fight), render them in "fleeing mode" more often than "fighting mode"...

"Expert Technique" doesn't seem to be triggering properly. I have gained several levels, and bought several skills through the talent tree, but I still haven't gained this achievement.

In Act 1-7, Lieutenants should have the ability to pass through (not unlock) doors they move into. Since they're already programmed to return to their rooms when they lose sight of you, that means if you accidentally teleport one into the boss room, it'll make it back out into the hall very quickly.

Great game ! but shitty in game music and sounds. Luckily my speakers were not working for a while so played a lot without knowing that the sounds are so bad.
