Want to chime in that the "bark at the moon" achievement does not seem to be working, killing a direwolf while afflicted with wolf bite. That aside, it's been an excellent game and I'm sure people will eat it up once it's released. I do get a bit of lag when there's too much environment and shadow work going on, but I'm guessing there's no helping that, and with a bit of patience it's a non-issue.

Great game! The way it was done reminds me of NetHack, and the permadeath with upgrades obtained from previous game's points is a really cool concept, too. Can't wait for it to be available to the public! On a side note, letting us know when we've cleared a map would be nice.

Is it me or do the bosses get easier with each act? I got to Xiatol and Shiurath on my first tries and beat them without needing to use my Ankh.

Great game so far. I do feel like there should be some indication of whether or not you've reached 100% map explored or 100% enemies killed (aside from the ahievements, when you haven't done them).

Amazing game can't wait for full release, badges/achievements will be fun to get, one minor complaint though occasionally when walking if you hold down a little to long you will begin to walk to the other side of the screen, it is easy to work around though 5 stars all the way!!! Something fun would be a multiplayer dungeon mode so you and your friends can attempt a raid together, but with an added difficulty like more monsters or something ;D

Well done! Although the rogue-like genre has seemingly thousands of entrants daily, this one feels a bit fresher than the rest. Good style, good audio, and a quick-paced combat system. Keep up the good work! And have some Kreds for the effort :D

Cool game. Once in a while my guy suddenly runs a bunch of steps which I didn't tell him to. Not sure why; seems like it happens when I've done something like a spell or something.

Personally i think you should have more variety in the armors and weapons that can be found. Better quality on the merchant would be nice to see once in a while but i havent really seen many items worth buying all together. It would be nice if you didnt walk ten squares away from the spawn and get mobbed by 5 guys right at the begining. Besides those few things solid game as is. still a five star game.

I love the game although I have to admit Charm + Polymorph are just the best spells ever. Go on the thief, Polymorph the boss (worked on the first) Charm whatever he summons then Shadow Walk and enjoy the show :D

This is a solid and eloquent follow up to CQ1. Gameplay is smooth, Graphics retain their prettiness, and I always loved the concept.

I seem to die often as the mage. I find myself running in circles waiting for my fireball to recharge. Also, when I entered the town I died after 14 turns due to an ogre that wouldn't die. It got close to me twice and each time it hit me. Thus, I was dead in two hits. Another downfall of the mage is that it's slow, allowing monters to get to you faster than your spells can recharge; which results in death. Could the mage class be improved?

Fun game, but the movement seems kind of buggy? When running around in the first act, if I ran into a wall, it'd force my character to either move up or down even though I did not press those buttons. Really annoying when exploring and it puts me in a spot I didn't want to be

Act 1 is insanely hard compared to the others. Took me like 6-7 runs and almost as many hours. But I beat the other 2 on my first try. Just keep going guys, you'll make it.

Is there a way to see how visible you are to enemies? I like the fog of war aspect but never seem to hit any surprise attacks. This is a great game, it already feels like a finished product.
If the enemy spots you, a yellow ! will pop up above their head. They'll chase you until they lose sight of you and, if you're a thief, you'll be able to use your stealth ability again.

It seems that if I try to use a skill I can't use... Lets say Leech on a mage and there's no enemy adjacent to me I have to go to the character menu (c) to escape using it. I would like to click the hotkey again to opt out of using it.

DANG. This game is awesome! After cardinal quest 1 I was expecting better but... this is vastly improved. Only complaint I have is that moving between areas has a long lag in a blank screen. I really like the sense of a goal to strive towards (bosses, that next upgrade, ect) and the enemies and boss fight are more interesting and engaging than before. I think a couple more levels, a boss-trial thing (where you fight all the bosses in succession) and maybe an endless mode would really complete the game though. As is, it's at least 4.5/5, and an impressive improvement from CQ 1.

is it sad that i made a paladin a better sneak attack character than a thief? found that shadowwalk spell, a bunch of stealth equipment, then consecrated a dagger, and got the skill that crits after killing another enemy >.>

For some reason Bark at the Moon never shows up as achieved. I've killed Dire Wolves a few times while affected by Wolf Bite.

I love this game! But i have only one suggestion: For the Polymorph spell, can you make it so you can cast it on your self and monsters wont attack you because you look like a monster. Thank you for making the game!

really fun! i love me some roguelikes! One issue though, i was playing the final boss as a ranger, and on part 2 of the fight, all you had to do was shoot arrows at it for a sure win. also the dog wouldnt go attack him when ordered.

I found a funny bug that if you walk into a healing potion on the ground and die in the same turn and click the use button, you will die but the Killed by note will say Alive

Fantastic game, I was expecting it to be more akin to the other rogue-like games on here (which are less than impressive) this is quite a bit of fun.
