Not a bad game, but it's not amazing either, it needs some sort of level system, or at the very least, more spells to unlock. 4/5 from me.

it's not a bad game but i think there should be a shop and levels and also if you have cleared a set of roads it should let you skip towns and go stright to the one you want but i do like the concept i just think it needs a lot of work

Got interesting on the third board, but by then i was bored. Graphics Good, Game play OK, But a bit repetitive and tedious when you have to essentially clear the board twice to clear the screen.

Excellent! Although the quests could differ, it was all relly good! Different spells, grat story... too bad it is so short and ends up wihout telling us more. Looking forward the next part! Good job!

Is it me or do the enemies seek protection from their vulnerability as soon as you get critical? Good bit of AI if so.

Also, what's the point of having tough enemies if they're going to lose 20HP each time they beat us? With no penalty for dying, this spoils the fun.

good but not great. would be nice if there was some system to become more powerful.
beautiful art work though. had me hooked for a while.

It'd be alot cooler if it wasn't turn by turn, (if you just made pairs as fast as you can). It'd add some skill into it and make it ALOT more fun.

Once you reach the flashing cities you have to go back over the entire map, selecting Parole each time, to clear them. Each time you clear a map you get a new spell. I got that the first time I played, but I can understand how a lot of people are missing it. But then, even with the spells I have learnt, it seems that they don't actually do anything new.

I still don't know where I'm heading or why I'm heading there, and although I understand how I'm meant to play my dreadful luck keeps getting in the way. I mean, every time a red dragon attacks and something new drops, that links. I've been 1 hitted 2/5 battles.

I love the artwork and the presentation. Top notch. The lack of any help screens makes understanding some of the finer details difficult and confusing. For example, What does resting accomplish? And why am I given two options for resting (paying 20 gold or 100 gold). I chose to pay nothing and just leave. What effect does that have on my battles? It's nice you want to tell a story, but first help me understand how to play.

In case you're wondering it probably took me 30 minutes, maybe 45 (wasn't really paying attention to the clock) to finish it.

I didn't pick up on any quest. I just made my way to each blinking city. If the goal was to clear all the roads (even though it seemed that they made themselves go up from green once per turn, which seems to make clearing them impossible)), that should have been made more obvious.

Graphics were great but it does get tedious quite fast. It needs more in it. Puzzle Quest had a lot of other items to keep you interested so that the constant gem battles didn't get boring - items, spells to learn etc. Something like this would improve the game a lot.

thanks for all of the feedback, lots of good comments here, you are all very helpful! there are spells granted for completing the quest for clearing the roads. there are a few too many roads and too many monsters to clear i think for most people's taste, i was trying to give it four hours of gameplay but i think i have to revisit that decision. i am very impressed with everyones points though, and i take all the criticism constructively.

game design is interesting but there are a lot to be improved
Graphics - icon color are almost the same, sometimes really hard to see.
Spells - lack of spells, even thou mosters shows resistance or weakness to poison, earth quake or something else but there isnt any new spells to learn.
game play - gets boring after a while, spells all the same, char all the same, nothing improves
suggest to put a skill tree to develope spells, or a spell lvl up system.
right now i gave 2/5

This game seemed like it was going to be something, but then it just wasn't. The way you applied the Bejeweled mechanic to fighting is pretty boring.

Needs saves, and a mute button. Gold should be used for other stuff, its only used for resting, which is pretty much moot because you automatically rest... I like the battle mode, but the game as a whole is BORING as all heck.
