It sure is a shame the story couldn't be finished, but at least I can continue exploring, accumulating and using rewards, and building up abilities of my character and his companion. And of course I could start over and do it all again.

Wow! I found that I like this game far more than I'd guessed from description and initial play! And there is also much more to it than I expected. Thank goodness for the Heal spell - especially while trying to get better at Dodging attacks. I like Helping NPCs a lot!

A couple different glitches like what Dkpure mentioned: the barber npcs that can give you haircuts, and the wardrobe in your house, also make the screen reposition

Visual glitch when you open wardrobe from main game repositions screen to the bottom right forcing you to reload page, and lose all your progress.

Hello! This is RockLou, creator of The Awakening. Here's a small update:
I made this game when I was young and still had time for big projects like this. I simply grew tired of working on the game and it got too big for Flash to handle properly. This is why the game is unfinished. Nowadays I'm busy with other things and I'm sorry to say I probably won't ever finish it. Browsers are losing support for Flash entirely. Starting over from scratch on mobile or Steam is something I don't have any desire to do.
Thank you for playing the game and supporting me and my work! I hope The Awakening brought you some joy.

Damn getting the fishing badge is hard ;W; i cant even get to 2000 lol
also i love everything about this game, like everything. The personalities of individual characters, the quests, the fighting, the animations, and the fact that you have different ways of getting what you want like gold and items. The only thing i would change is travel. I really wanna buy that horse outside of Savina to move a bit faster so i dont have to keep speedwalking across half a continent to go to the black market.
Overall: Best RPG/Adventure game ive played EVER. Story is 13/10, graphics arent overboard and are just right, badge system is 5 stars.
I hope you can find a way to get around the size issue :D

My guy! This game has a great potential (story and gameplay-wise). The story is very mesmerizing. Even the NPCs' dialogue are very realistic, when i just barge into their house like "lmao get out". And now, I have finished all of the quests that are currently exist. (everything is 10/10 so far!)
But, when i read through the comments, i've got an information that roughly said that flash player will be gone after December this year (2020) and that your file is slowly become bigger and bigger that it's lagging a lot now. I'm kind of sad..
I hope you'll find a better media to finish this game, and as long as i still can, i will play it, dude. I will respect your decision, as i know making a game (a good one, on top of it) is never an easy feat. But the most important thing is, I wish you a nice day. Stay safe and healthy. :)

Found a glitch: After the tutorial about spells (and maybe for the rest of the game, idk i'm not there yet), if you switch to Caleb and use "chaos", if you switch back to the protagonist, "heal" is now dark, and "berserk" is available instead. It's still possible to use "heal" by pressing 1, but "berserk" is the only spell you can use with the mouse.

I broke the game lol. After I got out of the forest with the dude I went right and hugged the trees looking for secrets, ended up fighting a boar and when i won i flew right and i assume i passed some sort of invisible wall, because try as i might i could not get back on the right path since caleb just kept blocking me by saying 'head southwest!' all the time.

use a lot of gold to train agility then spam counter
when you get sick of being OP against melee attacks forget counter exists

Sweet original graphic work, funny story, easy traveling, pleasant combat mode (for half lazy players), cool soundscape... It would have been a 6/5 stars if "only" my saves could have been exported (since it's a browser game and I'm a serial cache-emptier). So... 4/5 only.

This is one of the greatest RPG I ever found here. It's a pretty good story, it's easy to play but difficult enough to mesmerize me. And I LOVE the fighting and training mode! No leveling, just training. This feels more real, I really really love it! 5/5 stars. <3
