After a battle with a boar, I got teleported to a different place on the map. Then I went to the cave and fought the big spider thingy, but I was way too weak. I tried to load the autosave and it's stuck on the customization screen. It was a good game while it lasted, even though I hear that it's incomplete. 3/5

when you create your caracter, there is three colour for the hair and the bear, but these are not the 3 primal colours. It is suppose to be, blue, red and yellow. Thanks for your time to reed our comment!

Developer i found some bug.When you walk than click another internet tab without release button it walk pass through anything.

Alas, saved games seem to be corrupted for me -- they load, but after loading a saved game I start walking through doors without the insides of housing displaying. :(

Loving the game so far, but I got sad when it froze when I blocked the confusion attack. I had the golden demon to 2,000 and was determined to kill him.

playing this game and its AWSOME but only one problem... why it isn't multiplayer...with so many character customization this game would be EPIC i wish this game had multiplayer version >.< but 5/5 a really awsome game :)

I only rated it three star because it is half finished but from what I played I definitely liked it. The character creator was surprisingly in depth and the combat system actually required a bit of thought. To bad it wasn't finished could have been one the best games on this site.

its very sad to see this go unfinished. I found this game spite how short and abrupt it was to be really fun. games like this really make me want to see the end of the story "who is the hero or what is his connection to the gold demon". i looked around for secrets hitting the E button and reading everything.
I found a lot of charm and humor in some of the dialog and even made shore not to read any of the comments on the page as to not ruin the end.
I found all the swords beat the summoners challenge and after seeing the burning tree in the dream/vision went back to the forest where the burning trees were hoping to find a secret. But now that i know i have done all that there is to do in this game all i can say is this.
I WANT MORE!!! and i hope one day Mr.Douglas there will be.
Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it so much while it lasted. I don't think I will ever add anything to this particular game, but I have already started on a new game.

Definitely one of the best flash RPG games I've ever played. I hadn't played flash games for a long time because they haven't been satisfying, but this one definitely changed my mind about that sentiment. That said, I was a little disappointed when the game abruptly ended. The story line, customization, and level of freedom was all diagnosed in a near perfect amount: a lot, yet not so much that it was overwhelming and unneeded. I would really love to see this game finished; even if it's not finished by you, I think that someone might be able to finish it for you. It was very enjoyable and I"m happy you spent so much time doing this. Thanks again, hope to see some more of your games (either personally or for a larger company) if you find the time and energy :)

It has 3.8 stars, some people really dont understand the old style RPG you went for (I think you did anyway) it sorta like one os those old AWSOME RPGs you saw in 2004-2008

Bertaut, what usually happens in those mmorpg/facebook games is campaigns for free stuff in game if they reach a certain rating. So its not some conspiracy with the website itself, its just...people want the free stuff so they rate it highly. Simple as that. Should there be a rule to ban said campaigns? Probably since people are rating for items not on the content, but not sure they can actually do anything about it as its not really against any rules.

You know I find it vey suspicious that all the virtually unplayable MMORPGs/Facebok games on this site that won't let you get past the title screen unless you buy kreds, have ratings in the low 4 range, despite the fact that every single comment about seems to be negative. And here we have a game that epitomises what Kongregate is all about; a simple flash game but a great gaming experience, and it has a rating of 3.80. One might almost imagine that those ratings other ratings aren't entirely reliable...
I definitely see what you're saying. But it also has to do with that some people experience a lot of lag in this game, which leads to a lot of weird glitches. I think the abrubt ending also really disappoints, sometimes enrages.
Personally I think it deserves a slightly higher score. But obviously, I'm biased. :P

This game is extremely well-done. I'm certain if it didn't have an abrupt ending it would be one of the highest ranked RPG's on Kong, and could have put itself in the running for "game of the month" and earned some well-deserved cash. As is, the abrupt ending probably has quite a few people giving it 1/5's lowering the score on an excellent game.
Yeah I know, and it does annoy me a bit. They ignore everything else just because it ends abrubtly.
As for cash, it actually placed second in game of the week.

Good rpg, but it has some bugs. But lets start with what I liked most - the best idea is the concept of dodging, counter and attacking - greatly done - it makes the battles dynamic and fun. One minor bug is that some of the menus don't close. For example when upgrading a sword at the smith. More annoying is it when trying to attack, but accidently opening the spell menu. One mayor bug is that you can get outside of the mapborder. For example in the cave you can step in the darkness without a way to get back. Finally I recomment to take yourself break and than return to the development. You've created an ui and a mission concept this was the hardest part of development. The rest is lets say fun :). You might even consider to ask for crowdfunding.

Creator, this game was awesome, and has enormous potential. The talking on it isn't cheesy and has good grammar ^^ The fact that it is not turn-based makes it enjoyable and satisfying. I'll definitely be following you to see if the full version of this game ever does come out, for sure. 5/5 and on my favorites.

Well it did black out, but it autosaved somehow. It loaded at the crater. I retained my wounds, but phantom stalker didn't appear again. No other glitches since.

How do you drink a potion? The "tutorial" says drink a potion from the item menu in combat or from inventory, but nothing about HOW. I've tried everything I can think of. Obviously I'm missing something very basic since there seems to be no one else having the problem.

Awesome game. If still possible, you should add a tip jar thing here on Kongregate. I rarely tip designers (because I am usually broke myself, not because I don't want to), but I would definitely tip you on making this game. Even if you had/have no plans of finishing it!

This game is very good. I never play rpg's because they're usually the same, but your game is very different form the rest. I will rate this game 5/5 stars. Even though it is not finished, I got a strange sense satisfying game play even though it's not finish. I will remember this game and let me just say, I loved Caleb and his hair.....don't know why.

THIS GAME IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! And I agree with being able to venture after the end. Please make more of the story and that we can play after the game ends.
