I like that sometimes you have to choose a less than perfect decision to finish out a series. When faced with a certain idea, it hit me like a sack of bricks and made total sense. The decision I had to made was a different story. No one really wins, but who really loses?

Yes, even in 2016 this is an amazing game series. I hate point&click, always did, but I played this when it was new and played it now for no reason but it kicking ass. Still get the chills when seeing the glowing eyes in the first part, even though I know its coming xD

I love this game, I really do. But the puzzle hint ruins the game for me. Mine is so obscure and the walkthrough's is easy.

Just made a connection. One of the letters to yourself was addressed to Bert, and Bert was the name of the clown in the poster in Deeper Sleep. So in this game, you see yourself being hung by the red rope. Whoa.

Awesome ending!! you did a wonderful job in this saga Scriptwelder. One of my favs point and click on Kongregate. Guys if you want to follow the history from the start play "Deep Sleep" First, 100% recommended.

Bruh, that was intense, but I thought it had alittle more story, but still... that was intense as it was and it finally makes sense... and in the end i was like. Wait a sec, in other games you can pick random stuff!-(like in "don't escape 3) so i was sad not letting it escape into my belly ;C

I was really excited to play this game because I loved first two parts of the trilogy. However, this was a bit of a disappointment. The puzzles were too easy--it took me a while to find the gold key, but that's the extent of the difficulty. The idea of a monster lurking at the deepest levels of sleep is cool, but the Bottom Feeders were too blatant and unsubtle. They weren't as terrifying as the shadow people, for sure. Maybe I'm remembering the other games incorrectly, but this one also felt much shorter, and the atmosphere wasn't nearly as creepy as it was in the first game. I did like chasing the traveler at the end, but I wanted something to come after it.

What if you only survive in the first game because the Shadow Person lets you go? because I know it chases you at first, but once you get through the door it seemed to stop. And having played from this perspective, its so easy for them to catch you, but they didnt

The Traveler you chase down at the very end? He IS you, at least an alternate past version of you that failed that little chase sequence in the first game. Space is tangled within the deep sleep; perhaps time is, too. And you do seem to have a strange habit of leaving notes for your past self.
In fact, let's extend that theory a little. Know how whenever you die in this trilogy, you get to try again from right before you were in danger? Maybe that's not just a game mechanic. Maybe every time you die, the viewpoint actually switches to another branch, and your old timeline remains in existence.

In the final sequence, even if the door is closed so much that a centipede couldn't get through, you can still catch the guy. Really?

Thanks for the tip about the headphones and playing in the dark. LOVED it. About to go back and play for the other ending now. Then I'll go back and replay the deep sleep again in the same way.

Crap man that must be terrifying he had sleep paralysis with a person that is actually in his room trying to kill him! If you don't know what sleep paralysis its when in your sleep your your body is in basically the deepest sleep it can be this can be seen because of eye twitching and it paralyzes you so you don't act out your dreams those who for some reason aren't paralyzed do act out their dreams and those are sleepwalkers and if you are awake in the moment that your body is paralyzed then sometimes you see someone in the room with you probably like a nightmare but way more scarier because you will most likely know you are awake
