That final hallway seems a lot like the first time you met 1 of the Shadow People in Deep Sleep. So, maybe the cycle will continue despite your choice.

I yelled, in the middle of the library at the begining "WHA! HOLY SHIT!"
I nearly got booted had someone not also been with me and was watching me play
this game is simple yet horrifying, like all the others

Great end to a great series. *spoilers* I like how it went full circle with the end decision(chasing a sleeper like deep sleep1). If I could I would pass by the person trying to seal me in and possess the crazy woman in the attic(deeper sleep2). She has it coming.

Loved the optional ending that also tied things together with the first game. You have no idea how happy I am that the clown poster didn't turn into a demonic hell spawn clown that you had to meet. I hate clowns enough as it is.
