Come non detto: anche se il gioco non crasha, gli obiettivi non si possono realizzare! Chi ha avuto la fortuna di prenderli in passato, è stato fortunato! A me manca il distintivo difficile, e credo non riuscirò ad ottenerlo..! <:'-(

Che bellissimo gioco: tempo fa alcuni livelli, come la sfida col 1° Boss, erano crashati.. adesso sembra funzionare tutto perfettamente! ;-)

finally managed to equip weapons other than pistols, this game seems to be a massive grinder... at least things get easier in some ways after awhile

Hard Badge Get! : Grind out to the last two weapons, they are both homing. Max out health and regen, then buy all the boosters. Infinite jumps to keep you at the top of the screen to avoid all the obstacles.

Got up to 37k on survival out of sheer luck, everytime i almost died there was a health pack and i died three times but got revived by opening containers, and all i did was infinite jumped and every now and then dip to get the rocket launcher and health pack drops

Really intense game. I had fun!
The ending really was a button-mash fest for that hard badge. I got around 15,000 then 19000 twice in a row before getting 21k. My poor arm lol.
Yeah it really is unfortunate that the developers can't lower quality with this game.
One thing I might suggest to remove some of the lag for the survival mode, don't select 2x gold (I am guessing you'd be maxed out by then with plenty of gems as well, so it's probably not a huge deal). Good luck @_@

After 100%ing the game, I must say that, if anyone is still struggling with the Hard badge, just grind through the Quests to get to the Tesla Gun, slap that baby on with the upgrades and the boosters, and go to town. Best of luck everyone!

@grastens: Actually, since Rogue Souls 2 came out 1 day less than a year after this game (this game came out on Sept. 26, 2013 while Rogue Souls 2 came out on Sept. 25, 2014) I think it is more accurate to say that Rogue Souls 2 is like this game since this game came out earlier.

I don't know if I should feel accomplished for beating the main story and getting to level 40 all without upgrading the health once or not...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Finally got the Hard badge. Focus on completing all the quests so that you can level up and get Regeneration. Then, you can pretty much make us of the laser or level up more for the @Ikctgo run and use the rocket launcher above the top of the screen. Best of luck. My computer can rest now...

The simplest way to get the hard badge is to play till you unlock the full jump mode, and the homing gun (second last gun) - you do not need to be able to purchase it as your primary. It will also help to have hearts/armor maxed out but it is not necessary.
During survival mode, once you reach around 5k, you should be able to continually fly into the air without ever coming down (out of the map) by continuously clicking up. You will not be touched by regular attackers and spikes etc. The only monster that can attack you is the flying saucer boss, as it will fly in from random angles.
When you see a power up, press stomp (down button) to receive it, and immediately click up continually to fly back out of the map. You should be able to achieve 20k while taking minimal damage (the homing gun is so that you are able to kill the flying saucers before you get overwhelmed - but the other support powerups will help you to kill them anyway).

And yet, somehow, I'm also getting addicted. This stuff is like pop. Crap. On the bright side, I don't suppose anyone ever actually pays real assets on this stuff, and that makes me immencely happy.

Runners are supposed to be about speed (the feeling of needing to escape), escalation and good judgment, not dragging ever on until I wanna quit out of boredom. That's also some of the worst reverb / echo I've ever heard: pretty sure that even that 2nd Coming dude would even complain. Lastly, it looked like I was gonna get the BotD pretty quick, but almost thirty minutes in and I still don't have it. Three strikes, and you're outta here!!! (...right after I get the badge anyway...)

I love that this game isn't a cash-grab in these days of rampant P2W games. Of course, this one was made before that craze started. Anyway, one complaint: being dropped directly into a hole after a respawn. Some logic that doesn't drop your new flashing character over a hole would be a nice improvement.

Ok, so for anyone who gets stuck like I did, I thought the stages were the parts of episode 1 and was selecting them to play instead of selecting episode one. Those are just additional quests to play, the episodes are they main game play.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I just love how you can get to the boss of episode 2 on your first try, get it down to one hit left, die, get a clutch revive from the last crate, and then die from a bell you didn't see during the explosion animation. :(

The clutter on screen ruins the gameplay at the end. The weapon upgrade system should allow us to select not to see certain weapon switches. Otherwise, fun little shooter.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Instead of adding more and more coins, gems, and fuel tanks, you should just make them worth more. So many objects clutter the screen to the point where you can't even see where you are, plus it makes the performance choppy. Also why does the boss take so long to die, when you are in survival this is a really big problem.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really, really wish you could turn of the coins/gems. After a certain point, the game gets so laggy, and you can't even see your character. Eventually, you don't even want them anymore.

Full jetpack and Double Damage + More Health + Infinite Jump (2250 gems), with health and med kits upgraded to max, using Pulse gun upgraded to max, really helps to beat the 3rd boss.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@archerbob Buying a new weapon is separate to buying upgrades: the first new primary weapon (the shotgun) costs $1200, and you won't see the option until you have the money. You can buy shotgun upgrades before then, but those won't change your default weapon.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Once you get the Pulse Gun as a primary weapon you can stop buying that expensive upgrade for a long time. It's a superb weapon that has great spread, meaning you can concentrate more on dodging. Another tip is it seems to almost always to be best to buy the biggest key chest. Also concentrate on doing quests. Oh, and the key to dodging and damaging is to use your stomp (down) to regain more double jumps.

@MariaB131 I just tried a different web browser to see if that made any difference, it doesn't. I cant equip and use any other wep but the default pistols
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@MariaB131 it makes no difference what I do I cannot equip any other weapon and just have pistols all the time, it's a broken game for me.

I will say that the frame rate drop was IMMEDIATELY noticeable in Survival. I don't think the challenge was handled super well there :/
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe a lot of things have been fixed, but I was able to beat level 3 before even unlocking all the challenges for level 2. I did prioritize a lot of health, damage reduction, and weapon upgrades though. As well as the medkit. Extremely helpful.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There are so many problems with this game. The sheer amount of lag caused by the coins and gems for a start, the amount of grinding you have to do to upgrade things, and the repetitive levels and enemies. It had promise in the early game but it just became too cluttered and repetitive by the end.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
(for Archerbob) First, try reloading the game or doing something else. Second, at menu, press Weapons tab, then, at the bottom of weapon, there is a button that says EQUIP. Press it. It will tell you then that it is EQUIPED. (But it won,t say EQUIP if you do not unlock it) Also, this game is great!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
2 stars, this game has bugs. On the challenge to destroy all crates for example you can destroy every crate in sight and still fail
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok, I'm stuck, I can't figure out how to use power ups and the game has stopped dropping keys and support items, so how in the world can I power up to unlock the next level?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
BADGE tip.
Get at least 90% upgrades and a rocket launcher, get all bonuses for the survival and press UP non-stop.Profit.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
And the idea of constant running forward but that having bosses move from behind you so you can jump over spikes because you hit the boss makes the game a 1. Did nobody play this before they released it? 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Like the others, the game isn't playable because it's so ridiculously busy. The game play is deeply flawed, landing on people half the time takes my own health (because I supposed I landed directly in front of them even though the graphics are intermixed?) and 40% of the rest it doesn't kill the person. The beginning options are overwhelming and the upgrade scheme for weapons is stupid. I saved up for a weapon that I can't use, I guess? I don't even know what's going on. This game needs some serious editing. Lots of potential, but 2/5 for execution.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For the hard badge, get at least laser gun as your standard weapon, max out your supports, then take more health, double damage, and unlimited jumps. Start at the beginning (no jetpack) to pick up keys that you might need later. If you have regeneration maxed out, you'll probably be good. It might seem like an impossible task, but once you get these upgrades, it shouldn't be overly difficult as long as you keep grabbing those health packs.
Also, this game is fun, but it becomes too much of a grind. I never even got the Tesla weapon because it's not worth trying to get all those individual quests. I have over 130K in gold, but I can't spend it b/c weapons aren't unlocked.
