Coins should be either smaller in size, or bigger in denomination (10's or 20's) in later stages. There too many and I cant see keys, spikes or they lag the game.

I really like the fact that you use separate currencies for upgrades and powerups. I usually don't buy any on-time boosts in games like this, because I feel like I'm wasting money that I could use on permanent upgrades. No problem with this here.

This game feels rather familiar. Like I've played something like it, minus the head bouncing.
Tell me I'm not the only one.

After about 20km the screen is soo cluttered that I just kept on jumping. Died after 35km because I couldn't pick up the health packs anymore.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The screen ends up way too cluttered. I also didn't like how the first boss fired bullets that were a very similar colour to its legs.

Great game but really need the have the ability to change the quality. Also the Coins, Gems, and Fuel Can need to be more transparent. If you get enough of them together they can block out a whole set of spikes. I would of been able to get farther in survival but the lag was insane after destroying 1, 2, or 3 bosses at one time. 9.5/10

Game was pretty fun and I did spend a while playing. My issues are that the challenges were too easy and it could have used more... stuff?

The mega shield upgrade makes you invincible. Except if you hit spikes. Or falls down. Or hits a wall. So it protects you from bullets and lasers. Which, to me, makes it so the "mega" is taken out of it and just makes into a shield. A mega shield would protect you from more. If not bashing into things then at least spikes. Come on.

Laser Gun is definately the best gun to use in Survival to hit on multiple bosses, i can easily survive 20k meters with Flame + Laser (With max weapon drop, u'll probably with Laser all time) But too bad after u get on higher levels, there comes the rocket & tesla whith thou they can auto-target, however for most of the time, minions & crates draw off most of the fire power and it's really annoying not to be able just to stick on with Laser only. Kind of disappointed with the Tesla gun after spending 3 hrs+ to get to Lvl 40. It would be much cooler with the Tesla could chain hit targets.

Love the game, but the enemy movement thru walls makes it very hard to kill them, especially when the entire point of the challenge is to kill every single one (Hunt 2)

There really, REALLY needs to be something done about visibility on Survival >.< I literally cannot see myself after a few thousand meters, which means I have no way to dodge, aim, or anything. I am pretty much stuck in perpetual jump and get hit mode, because all I see is gems/coins and bosses taking up 60% of my screen.

@chubawuba. Once you have enough fuel on the screen where you can buy powerups with gems before the level starts you can also click on one of the jetpack upgrades. This will let you skip anywhere from 1/4 of a stage to all of it, depending on fuel consumption. Survival is different as you go X amount of meters instead as you're just trying to go as far as you can as fast as you can and survive.

I guess when there's so many different bonuses and upgrades, balancing things (not making them too easy) can be a challenge. I ended up beating episode 3 at level 24, that is, before I unlocked the episode 2 boss challenge. The heal pack seems kind of overpowered, all you need to do is stall until it drops and you'll be fine going up against any boss.

This literally just happened... fell down a well to get a key, respawn into a well, respawn onto a spike strip... ahh, the fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just one more... Got full upgrades, have to use them, (9980 meters of survival later), 25% revive, (2000 more), 25% revive, (2000 more), finally over. Just one more....

At about 7km in survival, you reach a speed where the buildings are coming at you faster than the enemy bullets so the bullets look like they're traveling backwards...

Wait. So, I worked all the way up to max level and I will never be able to just equip my tesla coil?
It's a good game up till the end where it gets grindy. So, 4.7 out of 5.
But you won't let me equip my tesla coil, which was my only reason to grind so far.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Really fun game, but it gets WAY to grindy. I can beat all three bosses and basically have to sit there and redo levels over and over and over and over and over again to gain stars and level up, just to unlock one extra level.

It kind of stinks when you essentially only have ONE slot for quests. My first slot says 'No new quests available', but my second slot keeps filling with quests that can't be autocompleted because they involve things like 'collect x amount of things', even if I've already gotten ten times that amount just to GET to that quest. Third slot just taunts me with "Hey, do the thing that you can't do because you haven't done enough quests!". So I have to do the quest, then wait until I can register it as 'done'. Then get a new quest that I've already done a ton of.

could you make it so you can select your weapon instead of staying with the one you upgraded to? I want a spreading weapon for a challenge, but I cannot get one, when I'm stuck with the gatling gun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
got all the weapons but stuck with laser.
the Change Primary Weapon just shows spinning laser and won't let me switch to rocket launcher or tesla
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Gave it a 3, i think it needs a few more levels and some changes to the way the upgrades are handled but otherwise pretty awesome game.

Whooo, finally reached level 40. By maxing out my rockets and Tesla cannons and equipping infinite jumps I can basically get infinite score in Survival mode by just "flying" near the top of the screen where basically nothing can touch me and my homing weapons can still hit the enemy with ease. I scored 25,000 meters before getting bored and killing myself.............As noted by the fact that I beat the game, I liked this game. The leveling up worked and the gameplay mechanics work well.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The leveling up system is interesting. I basically focused only on the tasks and I usually could scrounge enough money to get by. But there were several cases where I had to viciously grind. Like collecting 30 power ups which was annoying because there is no way to speed that up. And some missions like "kill 6 bosses" required grinding the level 1 boss level...............One thing that would greatly help the game would be that if I press the right button (or D) that my character would run faster because the starts of most levels are brutally slow and boring

For some reason I always got a chuckle about how my dude smacks against a wall and fall off the screen.......... Easily the biggest problem the game has is that in harder areas the character is COMPLETELY obscured by coins, bullets, enemy corpses and lasers. I literally cannot see where my character is at all. Fortunately I was smart enough to figure out predict where my guy was because I was used to the physics and could count how many jumps I had done. The easy way to fix this is to make the character's layer (or sprite or whatever) appear above everything else as opposed to right now where everything else is on top of him
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So far the game is fun. I just think door or spikes appearing mid end when it is time to jump and there is an enemy that you cannot get around and you have no choice but to get hurt.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the weapon variety. Even though we quickly lose them forever when we level up they help the pacing. The only real problem is how they are upgraded. I though ahead and never leveled up anything except for the last guns because I knew all the previous gun's upgrades would be lost. It would be cool if we got our money back when we upgraded a gun..................Like I said before, the upgrading system is interesting but the biggest flaw is the missions that require you to do thing you can only do after you are a specific level (such as beat 15 side missions). As you can tell, it is not a good idea to have a system where you can only level up AFTER you are a specific level. It just is not a good idea. Fortunately these wonky missions are 1 star only so I could get around it.

When you get the revive bonus, it would be great if you landed in a "safe" spot or were invulnerable for a second or two... I've gotten dropped right down a pitfall a few times!
