Pretty easy, mate in 13 moves while helping customers in at work. And I'm not all that good at chess. Also, adding in an animation for when a piece moves would make it a little bit easier to see where the computer moved.

lacks normal chess-moves and you get a serious eye-disease with those damn colours plus it's too easy...
I rate 3/5 but you have much to do with tis chess game.

Apart from the obvious rules that are lacking, en passant, castling, etc. The colour scheme's terrible. But then again it's chess...

I always liked the idea of a flash chess game but to survive Kongregate you'll need a serious twist and I have some suggestions:
Make it RPG!!!! Winning matches against gradually difficult NPCs would level you up, gaining money to travel to different competitions and to buy better looking pieces or any other chess gadgets, making your way to be the ultimate GrandMaster.
But first you need to learn how to do En Passant and proper castling.

I like chess... but really... this isn't the place I would play it. I would go to one of the million of websites that actually speciallize in the game or play it in real life. 2/5 (those two stars are for my love of the game)

Ok I never post problems BUT... En Passen does not work and the tops of the rooks are not the right colour. I love chess and this needs to be tweeked.
