I like how you made the little effort to add smoke and light effects to the map zones. Not many game devs would do that, but it gives a more pleasing visual feel to the game.

i can never edit my deck except after i get a card from a mission, is there another way to edit my deck? if not there should be one., 4/5 cause of difficulty plus of i can barely ever edit deck

yeah this game is allright but its kind of a cheap scam. like the harder missions use cards we cant obtain without real money. like it gets to a point later on in the game where you really cant play unless you pay. theres nothing wrong with that in a game, but like kongregate is a free game website so please take this garbage off.

The energy system is driving me insane, I play for 15 minutes, then I leave for two hours. It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't run out after 5 games. I hope you realize that the energy system is just going to drive players away.

@Jezpo, yeah the luck part is the most frustrating part of many game IMO... i just lost to a xeno card that revived himself twice in a row... that was not fun...

yo should really make the rally effects from monsters all the way to the right activate before any of the monsters attack so some weak cards that have rally dont have to be played first to be of any good use.oh yeah and the energy system needs to be changed a bit i dont like having to quit playing this game after i beat 5 or less missions and then come back an hour and a half later just to do the same thing.

Alright, review time. Overall the gameplay is pretty nice. The sheer amount of cards and effects make you really have to think about which strategy you want to use. There's no clear "best deck" in this from what I've seen. Sure some are better than others, but each card seems to work with others in some way to make a good deck. The energy system needs dumped though. That's what's hindering this game the most. Get rid of that and this would easily be a 5 star game.

wow kongregate dont be such a money hog.. seriously at higher level you will have like enough energy for 4 battles or so.. And then insisting that we pay 10 war bonds for doing ONE mission. Pathetic

Besides energy increase, I would include a why of sorting the cards when building your deck. Sort by turn until active, attack/defence power or special abilities. Sometimes I am looking for one thing to add, but I lose track looking through all the cards I have now.

Also i may add its a brillant game good graphics and beats most card games on computer that have came out shame the factions well when you apply for one they never notice your applying slip thing which annoys me but dam the xeno are minted cant wait to get those units :3

I don't actually mind the energy constraint. It keeps the game playable. Otherwise, there would be nothing stopping players from just grinding away for a few hours and getting bored. In shorter intervals, the game stays enjoyable.

Good additions would be:
- some way to increase max energy (maybe by gaining levels?)
- a way to play directly against another player, turn-based, in addition to arena where you just play against their decks

Overall great game, and I see why you want an energy system (so players don't go from level 1 to max in a couple hours). While war bonds don't annihilate the game I would recommend an alternate way of getting warbonds. One possible way I can think of would be to have a "Watch 3 advertisments and get 1 war bond." This way you can make money while still giving the <18 year olds an alternate way of getting war bonds. It might also make the wait for energy a little less... boring.

so the duplicate commander fix. Is it that it shouldn't display quantitys on the commanders, that we shouldn't receive duplicate commanders from boosters, or that we can sell our duplicate commanders without loosing them?

The energy thing has been commented to death, and I agree with most of those comments. I would like to add that if you fail a mission, you should get 80-100% of your energy back. It is a real bummer when you fail a mission, want to retry it and realize you don't have the energy to do so...
ALSO... once you have finished a mission to 100%, the energy costs should be decreased to 25% of the original value.

Its fun but i dont want to see a type of a where you need to play to have more fun. Give us a chance to buy our own cards. =.= we have to pay just to get into the card vault? SERIOUSLY

LOL, this game is funny, i mean... it doesn't matter how much you know the game...there is NO tactic!!! you just throw your cards in and hope for the damn good!!... 1/5 just because there's no zero.

Under rating threshold (hideshow) Great game but needs, way to obtain war bonds without paying, maybe 10+ energy every level, trade system/auction house, freind list, being able to challenge who you want, and mabey staking system where you challenge someone for a certain amount of gold/ war bonds

So a booster pack for this game boils down to about $4, for a virtual game that might not even be here in a year and doesn't really let you have very deep tactics. But it only costs me $3 for a booster for Magic: the Gathering, a real game with real cards that I can keep forever, that I know is fairly good and is going to be around for years. Do you really think this is a good investment? 1/5 until a less insane price scheme is offered. This is BS.

5 stars for fun game, -8 for being a cash cow. Kind of makes you look really bad, people aren't going to continue playing any of your future games because they're going to expect you to beg for money in order to progress further into the game.
Games that manipulate enjoyment and turn it into a unhealthy addiction is giving Kongregate a bad name. I'd give you kreds for pity.

I love this game, but there are a few things i dont like, one is how leech doesnt work on commanders... another is how I can't weaken enemies that are waiting to act, even if the only enemy(s) are waiting 1 turn (in which they will attack right after i dont weaken them)... and lastly is the whole energy thing, way I see it, energy should only "limit" bonuses from battles, in that you can still do the campaign, but you will just not get as much (something like 20-40%), at least let me practice a fight without paying energy / winning any rewards.

I'm sure I'm in a minority, but the energy depletion setup makes this game perfect to play when I'm taking a break from working. It's impossible to get sucked too far in and forget to get back to what I was suppose to be doing.

The moment I load this game, my firefox loads like hell. And even after clicking a daily crate the screen doesn't go off and my reward doesn't appear. I'm starting to think that this game isn't worth playing.

Enough complaints about the energy, geez. I'd get bored fast if I played constantly...
With energy I'm encouraged to play for 5-10 minutes and come back in a few hours, or just the next day. Also, you don't need war bonds. So you can't say they make you pay to play.

dropped my rating from 4 to 2 because of the energy crap. This isn't facebook, I don't want to be forced to pay to play games. Plus all the bugs, glitches, system resources... I donate kreds to developers who put out good games. Vote to keep FB games on FB!
