Anyone else getting random Level failed since the Kong update? I'm not out of time, it's not because I've made to many mistakes - This last time I was about 16 minutes in with zero mistakes and suddenly it just failed. I wasn't clicking on anything at the time or even touching my keyboard.

If the game crashes in Ruffle, use this SWF file: supernova://play?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0020/4650/live/PixeloForWebKG.swf?kongregate_game_version=1609472782 (Just copy and paste the link into the URL bar and press Enter or Return to play! Only works with the SuperNova Player installed.)

After completing a level it freezes. If the other comments are right then you have to refresh with every completed level.

I love pixelo and I will miss it, it was one of my favourite games, and easily my favourite flash game of all time. I put so many hours into this game, I would play it whenever I had nothing better to do, and I will miss it greatly.

I'm so happy that this game is still playable here, having to start from scratch after completing almost every puzzle sucks but sometimes having a fresh start is nice

I can confirm it works as 'wgut' mentioned below. I ran Pixelo with SuperNova player first, it started from 0, then I replaced the pixeloOptionSave.sol file with my save file that I backed up.
And now I can play again :)

Using SuperNova Player, the new pixeloOptionSave.sol file was stored at AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\8LQGQSVY\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0020\4650\live\PixeloForWebKG.swf
and I replaced it by my old file. Pixelo working again!

@angelito If you're on 32-bit Windows, it's "System32" instead of "SysWOW64". The information is from www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/devnet/flashplayer/articles/flash_player_admin_guide/pdf/latest/flash_player_32_0_admin_guide.pdf, page 28 and down, please refer to that to make sure you did it correctly. The comment field here does not allow new lines, please make sure the commands are one per line. The browser needs to be restarted after making the change. Obviously, Flash must still be present on the computer, and the browser version must still support it. If Flash has been automatically uninstalled, see web.archive.org/web/20200718192527/https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html and download the version 32.0.0.371 which is the latest that does not have the January 12th time bomb.

You can disable the Flash timebomb and still play Pixelo, if your browser still supports Flash! Edit the file [windows dir]\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg and add the following lines, one command per line: EOLUninstallDisable=1 AutoUpdateDisable=1 EnableAllowList=1 AllowListUrlPattern=*://*.kongregate.com

Pixelo. The one game that has been enjoyed so much, that we wish flash was still gonna be available. See you all in the next year. :)

@chibis223 The game still works, something probably broke on your computer. They said on the forum they are not deleting flash games either.

Welp, I just came to Kong today like I do every day, only to find my most recent still-uncompleted games all wiped, including this one. I can't even start a new game. It's been a good run. RIP Kongregate & RIP Pixelo. You were one of my favorites. Thanks for everything.

Rather than "updated daily, for 2190+ updates", I'm pretty sure it's been more likely updated *monthly, not including the yearly update adding the previous year's collection of dailies. Not saying ~80 updates on a single flash game is small, or anything, mind you.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think that pulling the plug is the right idea. You've updated the game daily for 6 years. That's more than 2190 updates total. If you went on with it, not only would it probably destroy you mentally, but this game would have gradually dropped in quality like the Simpsons. Thanks for truly one of the most unique games out there. Love, wattletree.

3-4 years ago, my progress got reset. This made me leave. 2-3 months ago: I found it again. Today, I bought the two other musics, and... many old memories of playing this game flooded in. For a moment, it felt nice. Then, I remembered that this game will die. All memories of this game will wither yet again... Sadness got me, and, playing the game and hearing the musics some more, I felt my eyes water. Turning on these musics caused me so much pain; do I regret turning them on? No. Me having these memories and this game dying is something I can't change. I can just be glad that I got these memories out of it, and that time didn't fully erase them. Even writing this, I tear up, but I need to continue, because these feelings need to be put into words. This game may die, but we need to be glad of the memories it brought us, hope they won't completely wither away, and that they one day find a way to be brought back. Everything is temporary, just appreciate what you have while it lasts.

Even if there wouldn't be any new puzzles, I'd still like it if you could eventually bring the game into HTML5 (or anything which isn't Flash) so we could continue playing the existing puzzles.
No need to rush, just an idea if you have some free time eventually, many players would be happy.
I'd just like you to not completely abandon the idea.
Thanks for the years of daily puzzles, you offered more than we asked and we were thankful for it.
