The bats only slow things down, and only add any difficulty when the guns are at the end of halls, then it is just freaking stupid.

I have a real problem with the controls. They are either too insensitive or so sensitive that you keep on dying. Jump is far too slow, and when you DO jump your walkspeed suddenly increased so you cannot land on problems. I do not have problems with other games so it can't be MY keyboard, it must be the controls. Sorry, but please find this as helpful criticism.

Levels 20, 30 and 40 are simply horrible, because of 2 major flaws in game design. Level 20, first, is very, VERY long, any error is incredibly punishing, and as there are luck-based obstacles (angle cannons), well... it's even more. Level 30's walktrough is basically doing a sacrifice to RNjesus, there is no way to control the outcome, simply go forward and pray. Even if you go to the tunnel, you can still die stupidly, because you can't stop running even if you are in a collision course with a saw. As far as I saw, level 40 has... both sins? And it also has some nearly-undodgeable rockets. Good graphics, dialogues but terrible level design. 2/5, would update to 5 if fixed.

The clipping needs some work -- real frustrating to die to a bullet with almost half a body length of visible space between you even during your death animation. Also, the last 8 levels or so weren't even fun, just really tedious because you had to wait so damn long for your opening.

I gave up immediately. I think there should be different dialogue or something if you give up on the first level without dying or...doing anything.

The biggest problem this game has, aside from the syncing issues on death, is that the controls are just a touch slippery. Often times, I cut myself short on a jump because I don't want to slide when I land.

As mention in one of the top comments, there a bug about resetting some game elements. This bug makes the game unplayable in some occasions and the developer is not willing to fix it. Obviously we are not going to wait for the next sequel in order to have a playable game..

People giving low rates obviously don't know how to rate a game. Just because you don't like the genre it doesn't mean you should rate it low. It is a hardcore action platform game. For this kind of game it is really well made and easily deserves at least 4/5. I have only a few complaints and some of them i'm not even sure if it's the game or if it's my computer that can't handle it well. 1 - It's rare, but sometimes i just can't double jump at all; 2 - Dying to spikes/lava beside me about 1 second after I've already stopped moving due to slippery commands is quite annoying. 3 - Some stages like stage 30 or Bonus C you either do it on the first time or you keep dying until "next eclipse" happens because of the trap/enemie reset system. 4 - Due to that previous complaint, lv 40 is actually way easier than lv 30 to do, it just takes longer to complete.
