So, spelling is "Attribute" with two "t"s. And while programmers hate documentation, letting people know how things work (eg. attacks, etc) is better since this isn't 1982 anymore

UI ergonomic is terrible.
All slots/icons MUST be clicable. These slots are 3-8 times larger than buttons. Empty squad slots should open "reqruit" window. Weapons/items/power-ups should open corresponding selection window. "Unselect" button on "item select' screen should be same as "items" buttons (maybe call it "empty" or "use nothing") otherwise it's hard to find. Or just unselect an item when player clicks on used slot (first proposal is better).
There should be no separate "shop" window. All shopping should be made from an "item select" screen. Just display either a number of remaining items or a price for a new item. If you want, add small "sell" button under an item (buying is performed by clicking on an icon itself).
Mission objectives should be reviewed before or/and after a mission. You should easily know, which tasks are complete and which are not.
P.S. Are "double bullet" upgrades cumulative?

Need in battle healing via a Medic (non combatant?) and after battle hospital visit with the cost dependant on the amount of damage taken. Indication of entry points of waves via added ability to Sniper or a Scout unit or structure.

2/5 it really seems like a work in progress game. The management of the team is in need of an overhaul for auto equipping stuff or buying guys in packages so that the items/upgrades come with it. Maybe get rid of the red squares and just have squares that give people advantages while in that area ex. more exposed, more range, less speed to make it more strategic. And finally even after you fix all of that something that this type of game that you don't do much but watch a X4 button.

good potential, but sadly done. i have a squad of 6 guys unload round after round into a single enemy, while they overwhelm me, am i fightin the ironman army?!!?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
good attempt. needs tons of polishing. this is a soldier sim without any ability points to put into soldiers. there's no customization and worse they die and are gone forever while your base mysteriously reincarnates.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the game has potential.. but really needs to merge all them menues into one window. And make the battle abit more intuitive..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
great concept and characters, terrible execution and game mechanics...my guys were shooting straight south as one gunman to the north destroyed them all, first few levels are overwhelming because we have no idea where the enemies will spawn...try harder next time

This game had so much potential! It could've been the best thing for war defence strategy since Endless War: Defense! Unfortunately it cannot even compete with that game the way it has been set up
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm honestly clueless as to why in the hell this game is on the front page... Who slept with who? There is literally ZERO strategy to this "War Defense Strategy" game... The enemies come from ANY direction, and you can only place your units in very small red squares? No use of cover, such as the stone walls? This is just a broken game all around... There aren't even any descriptions as to what items do... I could go on, but why not just give this game a 2 star rating, simply for effort, and move on with life?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
so.. yeah, straight away in 2nd level, a freaking tank spawns and insta-kills literally 8 of my units, thanks but im done

This game is absolutely horrible... it doesn't even deserve a 3 star rating. I know this developer is trying to make games, but did the developer even play his own game before releasing it on Kongregate? The balance is horrible, units die too quickly to tanks even on easy mode, the AI is relatively stupid, and you can't replay missions to get money for buying new units. I stand by my first remark when I say that this game is horrible, relative to other games of similar ratings.

sir spiky i suggest u put about an even number of squads but if u dont have an even number try putting at least some on the top right or left corner thats where they always seem to come for me i hope i helped

I thought it was funny that in every group of recruits I had there was a guy named Obama...that's really not a very common name....and I have nothing positive to say about him....asfar s gameplay, it's ok I guess.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The basics work, but this really needs more gameplay testing. Sorry, buddy. 3/5 until it plays smoother and more intuitively.

GAME IS REALY FUN BUT I THINK YOU SHOULD MAKE IT TO WHERE IF YOUR SQUAD MEMBERS LOSE HEALTH WHEN THEY COME BACK TO BASE THEY REGAIN THAT HEALTH BACK
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
what a stupid game... retraining men every single fight is pathetic, you cannot seem to remove hurt units from battle, you cannot heal units except by making them fight which is dumb, they just run through your men to attack your base, you can only place men in small areas... etc etc... 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ehh, ok, how am I supposed to think here? Where should I position what??? The enemy can come from anywhere, so what is the strategic angle??? No give some info or some obvious good placements, not just a red square. If there is a stonewall, lets use it, what does agility do, whats the difference between a shotgun and a gatling? in rl there are some obvious differences but you can't take advantages of them here, at least not in the first levels...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One of the power ups makes your guys sit and spin instead of focusing fire. I could not remove this "benefit" once it was on my guys. Result: losing every battle. Sigh. Needs work.

rebuying and setting everything up is TEDIOUS! only got through the first two areas before i was too annoyed to continue.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Don't know if its had an update since most people played but for those complaining about a lack of info, when you hover your mouse over an item, upgrade, etc. there is a pop up box that gives a description of what it does..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Units heal a bit every round, it seems. not alot, but they do. i had a unit with 91 life, after winning a level, he had 100 again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is absolutely horrible in it's current condition and I honestly I don't see how this can become enjoyable without a massive overhaul. The no healing and lack of information is just the tip of the iceberg. The entire gameplay concept is crap in it's current form, and there's nearly no input from the player. Too much wrong with this game to make a detailed list.
I really wonder how this scored an average rating of over 3.5. Kongregate's community never ceases to amaze me, once again I have lowered my expectations about people's average intellect.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game needs better descriptions, the current descriptions are rubbish and the items doesn't even do what the description says, and your soldiers NEEDS to be healed, meaby even levelup, this "buynewsoldier" or "hope your soldiers doesn't die" is rubbish... I give it a very low score since it seems hardly playable in its current form.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Seems like it could be fun. But.. there's no way to heal my wounded men in between battles, I take it? Which means.. before long I get them all killed and don't have enough money to buy more. I can try grinding some cash using just reinforcements - but since there is no way to go back to the previous level, this will take so long that I just give up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The main problems of the last game are still around: Insufficient information on what all the various items/powerups do, and having units die every battle forces most of the gameplay to be tedious rebuying and setting up units.
