Please add a way to skip when the ball is bouncing around at a 1 degree angle and there's no chance of it hitting anything

why do i get punished by clearing the entire screen? like sure, i get 200 points... wow... cool
anyway you just spawned 3 jellyfish and because clearing the screen makes the new enemies move two rows (spawning even more things behind them) those jellyfish have split and covers the entire row
this game mechanic actively made me keep one thing alive at all times, cause getting 200 extra does like nothing when there's a high chance i could just lose thanks to it.
also whats even the point behind the score anyway? theres no goal for reaching the highest you can, you either win or lose, usually these types of games has like stars you collect at a certain threshold of points, but that doesn't exist here so the points are just an arbitrary number and clearing the screen is pretty weak in comparison to what i get at the end anyway, especially at later levels.

I have tried twice to complete the Sumptuous Sweets Badge (100 levels). My first attempt was 90; while my second attempt was 80. If I leave and go back to the game, it starts off a new game with no completed levels.

Giving daily prizes based on the ownership of a specific Kongpanion is just mean to new players, as they will never be able to obtain it.

I'm perplexed by the "auto-aim" cursor that snaps to a target, instead of allowing me to carefully line up my shots the way I'd like. Why does this mechanic exist in this game? I'm having trouble imagining a way in which it is useful.

This game wouldn't be so bad if the rng wasn't the most deciding factor on if you win or lose a level.
Earning powerups while playing would also help

Getting to level 100 is certainly pay to win. What a load of bull for Kongregate to encourage pay to win gaming. Incredibly bad business.

were yall in your villian arc when you made this? theres nothing remotely good feeling about killing things ive worked hard to gain. even more dark with making it botd... please keep cheap games like this on a botd blacklist. first one here that actually made me question if i even want to give a game the honor of completing the badge. if i even want to give it my attention, which is usually willingly given out , and i actually had to force myself to stay long enough to write out this review.

I start all games with a 5/5.
-1 for lacking originality, there are a million games just like this one.
-1 for the randomness, the enemies spawn in random locations which can make the levels significantly easier or harder
I think the current score of 2.7 is too harsh for this game, I suspect a lot of the lower scoring reviews are people generally upset at the state of kongregate and the badges.

I've got a couple things to say about this game following getting the hard badge on this fine Easter. First, to put into perspective, it took me roughly 12,000 kongpanions killed to beat lvl 100, which is three times as many as the impossible badge says. Another thing I have to say, is the steady difficulty progression of the game is nonexistent. It took me an actual month to finally get lucky to beat lvl 92... And then I first tried lvl 100 with zero difficulty. If I could give this game 0 stars, I would, I got my badge, I'm happy, goodbye forever.

Man we gotta stop badging games like this. Level 100 is an ungodly grind fest, and the impossible badge could literally be done by anyone

This game would be fun if levels were short 2 - 3 minute affairs at most. Unfortunately, once you get to higher levels it can take ages to finish just one level. And once you get past level 10 or so the game introduces no new mechanics. These two things combine to produce a game which is almost worse than bad: it is tedious.
There's potential here for a fun little time waster you can pick up and play for a couple of minutes, but due to the punishingly long levels and same-y gameplay, it is instead a slog.
Depending on many random factors, you will probably get the impossible badge somewhere between levels 55 and 65. If you're trying for the hard badge, my advice would be...it's not worth it.

Any level with a high concentration of squids and high level eggs is a recipe for disaster. I used all of my powerups on lvl 70 and had nothing left for lvl 80.. This hard badge has given me severe ptsd....

A rather boring game in my opinion overall. Not much to it, just shoot the kongpanions and hope you have enough shots to make it through.

"Complete this game perfectly today" snould never be a badge. Anytime I see this purple hat featured in dailies, I know it's gonna be a bad day.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this game gets pretty boring after the first few levels.
nothing new is added, the difficulty doesn't even really scale either,,, it's just random, everything is repeated randomly there is no reason for 100 levels to exist, let alone the few hundreds there are..
It's just boring and repetitive for no reason, like a bunch of levels just thrown in to make the game look big.

What's "funny" is that while the level progress can definitely be reset and you have to start over, the items don't reset, so you have to do everything all over again with 0 items if you used them all.

The impossible badge is easier than the hard badge. It took me 3.5 hours to get. Compare that to the literal YEAR it takes to get Mergest Kingdom's impossible badge with like 4 hours of daily playtime. All for 60 meaningless points.

I lost my progression, was on level 95 and wanted to finally get the hard badge.. Is it possible to do something ? (kongregates tracked my level correctly, I can prove it)

@Neptne2 The point was more that items should be given different ways for interacting with the game. There's a world map that's effectively a straight line, there's reward systems . Why not add branches for optional themed levels for bonus items? I missed the fact that there's a daily +1 random item, sure I guess.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
After beating level 100 and reflecting for a bit. I've come to the realization that the frustration of the game could be somewhat solved by giving the player a way to get items without using Kreds. Clear the board, +1 item. complete some amount of levels; item. log in daily--+1 item. It's something that. Also... impossible badge is only impossible because of how buggy it is on awarding : )

This is IMO the best (with that I mean the least crappy) one of these games. It still has major problems, though. The most noticeable to me is the lock-on when aiming, making it impossible to shoot at the edge of Kongpanions, which is often where you want to aim. I got all the badges now that I beat level 100, so I'll se myself out.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's not all bad though... At least the balls are actually round. Imagine the nightmare of shooting stars at bananas. And thank god there's no lives system like some of their other games.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
A huge part of what makes these types of games fun is that you can usually strategize where your balls are going to go up to a certain point when it breaks some key blocks and there's a whole bunch of satisfying randomness as eventually the balls go in all directions from the point you got them to. That doesn't really exist here... there's very few tiles per row and tiles per column where there's very little reward. Additionally, adding 'challenge' by making the balls bounce wildly different directions from a slight change in angle makes it hard to tell where the balls will go after the first bounce, and near impossible to figure out where they will go on the second. also 'kill them all' should either be a given that needs no mentioning, or there should be more varied objectives.

there is simply so much RNG in this, and the RNG is so bad, that it ruins any kind of fun someone might have playing this. additionally, the game never gives the player any actual sense of progression- reaching higher and higher levels feels like the game is getting increasingly more difficult without the player feeling any more powerful, either by game standards or in a strategic manner. in fact, playing with any kind of strategy is simply not possible because of the amount and nature of the RNG in this game. the fact that the shooting position, the position and hit points of EVERY object in EVERY line, and the results of eggs are all based on RNG basically make this feel more like a game that laughs at you for your bad luck than a game that wants you to have fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the frequent usage of eggs and completely random layouts is annoying. how am I supposed to play when every single input gets a random result?

Am I the only crazy person still playing this game after getting the impossible badge? Having some difficulties on lvl 123.

Pay to win game...
There should be a way to earn the boosters for free : After completing some levels, or by adding some task / mission system with boosters or a game currency as a reward.
