I thought that the purpose of the LP was that they would give you a bonus to XP earnt, or could be spent to buy permanent stat boosts in the family trait screen? Then, the player would need to decide between long-term small stat boosts for future generations, or having a bigger XP bonus in the current life?

The new Family trait system looks like it'll be a great addition to the game, but when I first went to take a look at a it, it froze my browser. Hopefully this is something that will be fixed pretty soon. xD Also looking forward to the new quest system, 'cos at the moment the most efficient way of gathering LP is to do just the 1st quest then retire, and keep building points 2LP at a time. It would make more sense if the amount of LP/min increases slowly with each quest, such as if they go 4mins for 2LP, 6mins for 4LP, 8mins for 6LP, and so on (for instance)...the LP/min ratio would gradually increase towards 1 as you progress throgh more quests, making them more efficient and encouraging you to do more quests between retirements. :)

The game info says it's been updated for the Family Traits but even though I've done a hard reset and refreshed the page it still says Family Traits hasn't been implemented yet.

When I go into the Family Trait part, all that's there is '0JP' in the upper left and the continue button in the lower right. Is there supposed to be something more there or is that it?

Suggestion: Make it so the Artifacts tell you what they do, atm it says what skill they goes into and nothing more, would be good to see what it actually does for you:)

For those wondering, LP makes your starting money increase by 1000 each. I'm guessing the point of having LP is because the dev plans on adding a leaderboard for fastest time to a certain level, or something like that. Meaning you can reset with a lot of LP, start with a lot of money, and finish faster than the rest of the people.

One idea I had which might be good, is if the length of time it takes for any given quest to complete is based on how many resources you currently own - buying more resources reduces quest times by some % amount (making the longer quests more feasible to complete later in the game). Also, as it stands at the moment, longer quests are MUCH longer, but only give slightly more LP (if at all), meaning that the most efficient way to gather LP is to keep doing the first quest for 2LP and then retiring and repeating over and over again. Any other quest takes longer and gives less LP per time spent. Just a thought...

There needs to be a way to either speed up quests or increase their rewards. As it is, the only benefit to increasing LP is how quickly you can gain level, but due to the slow LP gain you may as well do the first like 5 quests and reset.

So just FYI, leveling seems to depend on the previous skills being upgraded. if you're having trouble, you're buying the new skills too soon.

I cant seem to level up. I retired my first warrior above lvl 100 after that I couldnt reach 75, on the 3rd generation I can't even make it to 50. Any advice?

How to kill a game, post it when its unfinished, unpolished and bugfree.
Weeks have pass and nothing much added. 1/5, next time, wait for release

A x20 buy button will be nice :)
It's me or it's faster earn 2 LP with the first mision, retire and repeat? (if you want to earn LP, of course).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is it just me or is your level irrelevant to your LP? It seems that you're better off resetting every 2 minutes with the single quest completed...

I would highly suggest long term reset based achievements. Family of chefs, have three characters earn 100 cooking skill, things like that. and things that unlock as you;ve used more different skills.

also, for when you go to your second character, is there a way to make it highlight even the skills you dont have to know whats the best combination for all of them?

on the artifacts and trainers and anything else that gets a green dot next to it, you should make a separate tab for things you've already purchased so that you dont have to scroll looking for the next cheapest items. so when you go to trainers it goes to another tab labeled purchased or something. or in the artifacts the same thing so that when you own like 9 artifacts you dont have to scroll down to find the next one unless you plan to artifact jump lol

This game's alright so far, and I'd like to see how family traits will be handled, because I suspect that'll make things more fun. Any previews on that front?
In the bloodline world, there are 13 months... Also, you might notice that every hero takes a month off for his/her birthday! (just kidding, it's a bug :) )

I also find it weird that you only gain Legacy Points via completing quests. I feel like there should be some other way to earn those.

I think this could turn in to a really good game, but as of now it feels relatively unbalanced. It also lacks content, but that is to be expected of a game that is in mid-development.

It might be cool if as your skills increase, it improves the results or the timing or the rate of success of the quest. For example, someone with 50 strength might complete "Work Out" in 2 minutes, while someone with 100 might do it in 1.5
It would also be nice to still be able to see the quest list and rewards and such, even while a quest is going. Definitely a nice start, though - I like the visuals, and linking the soft reset idle game idea to generations is a nice touch.

Hi! has anyone else been having problems with the game resetting? just happend for the 2nd time, not really worth starting over again. First time was after 2 hours of playing, 2nd time was after 5 days of playing. I had 160LP (if i'm correct). Could you look into this tickbirdgames? Thhanks for the nice game

What does that ring with the three buttons that comes up after family selection do? I mean, I can toggle the fist button between red and green, but I can't seem to press the other two no matter my family, and I have no idea what leaving that one button red or green means.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is there anything passed on between restarts except LP? If not then why shouldn't you just repeat the first quest and reset?! get 1LP/min that.. but then it's not a game at all..
Hope it's gonna change, pretty pointless at this point
