not a big fan of this update to the quest system. it takes very little time to go down a single path on the quest line. then you can't do any more quests at all. For someone that has completed the entire family trait tree, the quests were actually there to help get a big influx of cash, which also seems to be significantly less with this new system. Think there needs to be bigger goals for those who have unlocked the tree

A great deal of my data has been erased since this new update. I lost all of my family traits and have to start from scratch. :(

Yikes. You shouldn't have pushed this update out so soon if it's going to take days before the new quest system is actually any good. Resetting with so few Trait points kind of sucks. I can retire when I'm still 19.

Unless The quest system is expanded with some actual half way decent LP rewards like we had before and it takes longer than 45 minutes while only half paying attention to complete the entire quest chain, I would personally rather have the old quest line back.

There needs to be some kind of list showing what skills benefit what other skills. Like if i start with Agility, what other skills should I choose to be most efficient.

With the new quest system, you should be able to at least redo quests you've already done to get the rewards from them again and again. Also, it should display how much money one gets from them, so one knows which is better.
Redo-ing quests is something we are looking into. The fixed quest path length is turning out to be a bigger issue than we had originally thought it would be. We now have quests up to level 300, but I know you guys will tear through those quickly!

since you can only see the next quest(or two if there is a choice) the choices don't seem to be meaningfull since you dont know what you miss on the other paths except that one quest out of two you didn't choose

the new questing system gives waay more LP per minute, and also makes you retire your hero a lot faster, this makes high xp fairly useless.
Hmm... the problem we were having before was that it was beneficial to reset your character after the first quest, over and over. We also wanted to increase the amount of LP gained per minute of active play while decreasing the amount gained while inactive. Might need some tweaking!

I feel that a quick, optional tutorial would be helpful because I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and I had to figure it out. I love the game overall though :P

Didn't like the nerf and this new linear system for the quests. Yeah, they give more rewards than skills, but that's because they take way longer and have level requirements.

The overhaul of the quest system should have taken effect once you retire your hero. I was very far into the quests with one of my heroes and now I might as well retire her and start over with the quests

If your not already at work on it. Could you possible create a stats system. Tells us the max levels we have achieved in each skill?

one thing to note - I could not select a new quest with the new system until I had upgraded one of my skills. The skill upgraded had nothing to do with the initial quest available, just apparently was needed to get the new system working properly

Please add more places for family traits to be spent, or at least give the ones unspent a bonus to play. This is all the more needed due to new quest system.

so you can buy 10x or 100x at a time, but income/speed boosts come after every 20 buys. so i can't actually see how much the next boost will actually cost me without buying the intermediate step. defeats the purpose slightly.

Ok so LP's have a use after the family tree thing? And I don't know why but it used to be a lot easier to level up before it. Now, it takes four times as long to get a third of what I used to get. Still.... it's an interesting game and I'm still gonna play it. Just think that leftover LP's should have a point considering how easy it was to get all the family tree.

Earning LPs boosts your ability to collect XP, but there's no correlation the other way; coupled with that, there's no way much to reduce the time for earning LPs from quests. I still think it would be much better if the higher your level is, the faster quests will complete, so that the later quests (which takes up to/over a day each) would be completeable in a more reasonable time-frame.

Decent start; but I feel that once I get about 6 quests in, that my level and XP mean nothing... I'm just waiting for my quests to finish now. Quests are always pre-determined length of time - but maybe gaining an LP for every 50 levels? or spending a high amount of XP to take a minute off the timer (but have it increase everytime you use it, and reset to the low amount after each reset)

I understand you might have a job and that is why the communication is lacking but it would be nice to know if you are planning on fixing the tree. The bonuses keep resetting whenever you reload the browser. You said you introduced a quick bug-fix, but the problem is still persisting. Would be nice to know when if ever this will be fixed or if we should just move on.

Nevermind on my two comments: for those two skills, the artifacts boost speed 30x, not exp 30x. Thank you Victoryordeath for mentioning this in your comment.

Looks like the artifact for Stealth isn't working. Not resetting to test it, but according to my calculations, I should be getting exactly 30x what I am for that skill at the moment.

Bug: I was running on my laptop, and left the wireless (so no connection). I closed my laptop with BL still running, and forgot about it. Later when I reopened, the browser had quit (computer may have rebooted for updates). I went back to BL and my whole save is lost (starting at level 0).

Be sure to export every time you leave for more then 3 hours... I have had mine reset three times now with no cache clearance.

i upgraded my family traits i have constitution perk but not strength perk and im getting more exp per second from strength level 150 then constitution 150...

I like the concepts in the game, the mapped levelling system is awesome, the quests, in their current state however, limit the game. Also, The right half of the skills are useless, because they don't get the artifact upgrades to multiple tiers like the left side do. The overall game seems like it needs a goal or a story to tell as well, it feels a bit empty. I feel like there should be some kind of overall consequence to the dynasty system you've set up, otherwise what's the point of the dynasty? Certain skills are way off balance too, Tracking in particular becomes so overpowered it's almost useless to have any other skill past the second artifact upgrade.
